Viral Video: गुजरात के एक खेत में बने आम से दिखने वाले कुएं ने इंटरनेट पर हलचल मचा दी है। इसके वीडियो में कुएं का पानी लगातार हिलता-डुलता दिख रहा है, जबकि आस-पास के दूसरे कुओं का पानी बिल्कुल शांत है। यह अजीब घटना मोरबी ज़िले के विरपरदा गांव में किसान प्राणजीवनभाई सदारिया के 18 फ़ीट गहरे कुएं में देखी गई।
अगस्त की शुरुआत में मॉनसून की भारी बारिश से कुआं भर गया था। बताया जा रहा है कि इसके बाद पानी मटमैला हो गया और फिर अपने-आप हिलने-डुलने लगा, जिससे स्थानीय लोग हैरान रह गए। ये वायरल क्लिप्स सोशल मीडिया पर तेज़ी से फैल गईं और यूज़र्स ने इसे अलौकिक घटना से लेकर ज़मीन के नीचे होने वाली भूकंपीय गतिविधि का संकेत तक बताया।
एक यूज़र ने लिखा, “सरकार जांच करने वालों को भेज रही है,” जबकि दूसरे ने मज़ाक में कहा, “भाई, हिलना-डुलना बंद करो, वरना लोग तुम्हारे चारों ओर मंदिर बना देंगे।” एक कमेंट में लिखा था, “कुआं (Well) अब ठीक (well) नहीं है,” जबकि दूसरे ने बस मज़ाकिया अंदाज़ में कहा, “वाह-वाह-वाह!” एक यूज़र ने तो यह भी पूछा, “अभी तक लोगों ने इसकी पूजा करना क्यों शुरू नहीं किया?” और इसी के साथ टाइमलाइन पर मीम्स की बाढ़ आ गई।

लेकिन मज़ाक-मस्ती के बीच, कई लोगों ने विज्ञान की ओर इशारा किया। एक कमेंट करने वाले ने समझाया, “यह कोई जादू या चमत्कार नहीं है—यह हाइड्रोजियोलॉजी है।” उन्होंने बताया कि ज़मीन के नीचे पानी का दबाव, बंद एक्विफ़र (पानी सोखने वाली चट्टानें), ज़मीन के नीचे चट्टानों में दरारें और हवा के दबाव में बदलाव की वजह से कुओं में प्राकृतिक रूप से हलचल हो सकती है। एक और व्यक्ति ने अंदाज़ा लगाया कि ज़मीन के नीचे एक्विफ़र के खिसकने की वजह से ऐसा हो सकता है।
मोरबी के ही एक यूज़र ने एक और वजह बताने की कोशिश की- “भूकंप जैसी कोई बात नहीं है… लोगों को बेवकूफ़ मत बनाओ… यह कुएं को रिचार्ज करने और चट्टान की बनावट (जियोमॉर्फोलॉजी) से जुड़ा मामला है। भारी बारिश की वजह से बहुत ज़्यादा पानी अंदर गया और चट्टान की बनावट के कारण हवा फंस गई (एयर लॉक), इसीलिए लहर जैसी हलचल हो रही है, और कुछ नहीं… मैं मोरबी से ही हूं।”
वहीं, एक दूसरे यूज़र ने बस इतना लिखा, “मुझे यह जानकर ज़्यादा हैरानी हो रही है कि ‘मोरबी’ नाम का भी कोई शहर है।”

सरकारी सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र पटेल अमेरिका और कनाडा के प्रमुख आर्थिक शहरों में रोड शो करके अंतरराष्ट्रीय निवेशकों को गुजरात में पूंजी निवेश (Investment) के लिए विशेष रूप से आमंत्रित करेंगे। इन विदेशी रोड शो का मुख्य उद्देश्य गुजरात को वैश्विक मंच पर निवेश, आधुनिक उद्योग, नई तकनीक और भविष्य के अवसरों के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ गंतव्य (Investment Hub) के रूप में प्रस्तुत करना है, ताकि राज्य में बड़े पैमाने पर विदेशी निवेश आ सके।
उपमुख्यमंत्री हर्ष संघवी जापान और यूरोप के दौरे पर
मुख्यमंत्री के अलावा राज्य के अन्य वरिष्ठ मंत्री भी विभिन्न देशों का दौरा कर वाइब्रेंट गुजरात का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। इस योजना के तहत उपमुख्यमंत्री हर्ष संघवी जापान और यूरोपीय देशों के दौरे पर जाकर निवेशकों के साथ बैठकें करेंगे। उनके साथ मंत्री अर्जुन मोढवाडिया और राज्य के वित्त मंत्री कनुभाई देसाई भी विदेश यात्रा कर अंतरराष्ट्रीय व्यापारिक संगठनों के साथ सीधा संपर्क स्थापित करेंगे, ताकि विदेशी कंपनियों को गुजरात की ओर आकर्षित किया जा सके।

वाइब्रेंट गुजरात 2026 समिट की तैयारियों को अधिक सुव्यवस्थित और सटीक दिशा देने के लिए राज्य सरकार ने दो बेहद महत्वपूर्ण कमेटियों का गठन किया है। इसमें उपमुख्यमंत्री की अध्यक्षता में 26 सदस्यों वाली एक उच्च स्तरीय 'कोर कमेटी' बनाई गई है। यह कोर कमेटी पूरे समिट के आयोजन, विदेशी प्रतिनिधिमंडलों के साथ समन्वय और महत्वपूर्ण नीतिगत निर्णयों की सीधी निगरानी करेगी।
कार्यान्वयन के लिए 22 उच्च अधिकारियों की 'एग्जीक्यूटिव कमेटी'
समिट के सफल कार्यान्वयन के लिए वित्तीय और प्रशासनिक स्तर पर काम में तेजी लाने हेतु राज्य के मुख्य सचिव की अध्यक्षता में 22 अनुभवी अधिकारियों की 'एग्जीक्यूटिव कमेटी' भी गठित की गई है। यह कमेटी वाइब्रेंट समिट के कार्यक्रमों के व्यावहारिक कार्यान्वयन, विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों के बीच परस्पर समन्वय बनाए रखने और अंतरराष्ट्रीय निवेशकों को सभी आवश्यक सुविधाएं प्रदान करने की महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी संभालेगी।
यात्रा की रूपरेखा तैयार, जल्द होगी आधिकारिक घोषणा
फिलहाल राज्य सरकार द्वारा विदेश यात्रा और रोड शो की अंतिम रूपरेखा तैयार की जा रही है। जल्द ही रोड शो के सटीक स्थानों, तिथियों और विदेश जाने वाले सरकारी प्रतिनिधिमंडल के बारे में आधिकारिक घोषणा की जाएगी। गुजरात सरकार को पूरा भरोसा है कि इस अंतरराष्ट्रीय अभियान के माध्यम से राज्य में भारी विदेशी प्रत्यक्ष निवेश (FDI) आकर्षित करने और नए औद्योगिक समझौतों (MoUs) को बढ़ावा देने में बड़ी सफलता मिलेगी।

Renault Kiger offers in August 2026
Benefits up to Rs 68,000
Depending on the trim level, the 2026 Renault Kiger is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 68,000 across India (except Kerala and Gujarat). This includes a cash discount of Rs 20,000, exchange or scrappage benefits of up to Rs 25,000 and loyalty incentives worth up to Rs 18,000. There’s also a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.
For those residing in Kerala and Gujarat, the loyalty benefit and corporate discount remain the same but cash offers and exchange incentives can now be up to Rs 50,000 each. The price of the Renault Kiger is between Rs 5.81 lakh and Rs 10.40 lakh.
Renault Triber offers in August 2026
Benefits up to Rs 60,000
Apart from Kerala and Gujarat, the 2026 Renault Triber MPV is available with benefits amounting to Rs 60,000. Buyers will be offered a cash discount of Rs 15,000, scrappage incentives worth up to Rs 25,000 or an exchange offer of Rs 15,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.
While the scrappage and corporate offers are unchanged, residents of Kerala and Gujarat get cash discounts of up to Rs 30,000 and exchange benefits worth up to Rs 30,000. The 2026 Renault Triber is priced from Rs 5.81 lakh to Rs 8.53 lakh.
Renault Kwid offers in August 2026
Benefits up to Rs 40,000
The 2026 Renault Kwid is being offered with a cash discount of up to Rs 15,000 and a scrappage incentive worth up to Rs 25,000 in most states in India. However, this offer is not applicable for buyers in Kerala, Assam, Karnataka, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. Buyers here can get the Kwid with cash discounts amounting to up to Rs 30,000, while the scrappage benefit remains unchanged. The 2026 Renault Kwid is priced between Rs 4.53 lakh and Rs 5.61 lakh.
Retail sales of electric passenger vehicles breached the 30,000-unit mark for the second month in a row in July 2026. After a record 33,307 units in June, buyers took home a total of 32,609 EVs last month, up 83 percent year-on-year, as per Vahan data. Tata Motors recorded its highest-ever monthly EV sales, while Mahindra and Maruti Suzuki posted their second-highest monthly totals.

July 2026: 13,578 units, up 102 percent YoY
Tata Motors, which recently expanded its EV portfolio with the launch of the Sierra EV, recorded its best-ever monthly retail sales of 13,578 units in July. This is 102 percent higher than July 2025 and 6 percent more than June 2026. The company also crossed the 40 percent EV market share mark after a long gap. Its 42 percent share in July is 4 percentage points higher than the 38 percent it held a year ago, despite growing competition.
July was also the second consecutive month that Tata sold more than 12,000 EVs, after 12,756 units in June. Cumulative sales between April and July stood at 46,697 units, up 108 percent YoY.
Mahindra
July 2026: 7,677 units, up 125 percent YoY
Mahindra crossed the 7,000-unit mark for the second month in a row. It sold 7,677 electric SUVs in July, up 125 percent over July 2025, although this was 498 units fewer than June. The performance helped Mahindra increase its market share to 22 percent, up from 19 percent a year ago. The BE 6 and XEV 9e continue to see strong demand. The XEV 9S, Mahindra’s first three-row born-electric SUV, has further strengthened its EV line-up.
JSW MG Motor India
July 2026: 5,642 units, down 4 percent YoY
JSW MG Motor India sold 5,642 EVs in July, down 4 percent YoY and 9 percent lower than June 2026. Its market share stood at 16 percent, down sharply from 33 percent in July 2025. The Windsor EV continues to be MG’s best-selling model.
Maruti Suzuki
July 2026: 1,590 units
Maruti Suzuki sold 1,590 e Vitaras in July. This was the fifth consecutive month of four-digit sales, following March, April and May. However, July sales were 20 percent lower than June, which remains the model’s best month so far. Until now, domestic sales of the e Vitara were limited because a larger share of production was allocated for exports. This is expected to change with the start of production at a new fourth manufacturing line at Maruti Suzuki’s Hansalpur, Gujarat plant. The expanded facility now builds the e Vitara, Fronx, Baleno and Swift.
Vinfast India
July 2026: 1,478 units
Vinfast ranked fifth among the country’s 18 electric passenger vehicle manufacturers. The Vietnamese carmaker recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in July with 1,478 units, surpassing its previous best of 1,448 units in June by 30 units, or 2 percent. This gave the company a 4 percent EV market share in July.
According to wholesales data, the VF Limo Green (for commercial use) is currently its best-selling model. In Q1 FY2027 (April-June 2026), SIAM wholesale data shows the Green Limo accounted for 2,746 units, or 46 percent of Vinfast India’s total sales of 6,001 units, well ahead of the VF7, VF6 and MPV7.
BYD India
July 2026: 742 units, up 47 percent YoY
BYD sold 742 EVs in July, up 47 percent over July 2025. However, sales were 20 percent lower than June 2026, which remains the company’s best monthly performance so far. On July 1, BYD increased prices of its EVs by 1-2 percent, marking its second price hike of the year after the one on May 1. The company’s current line-up includes the Atto 3 SUV, e-Max 7 MPV, Seal sedan and Sealion 7 SUV. BYD has also confirmed that it will launch the Seal U PHEV later this year.
Hyundai
July 2026: 565 units, down 21 percent YoY
Hyundai sold 565 EVs in July, down 21 percent compared to 719 units in July 2025. However, on a month-on-month basis, sales were up 51 percent from the 374 units sold in June 2026. At present, Hyundai’s EV portfolio in India consists of just two models: the Creta Electric and the Ioniq 5.
Kia India
July 2026: 464 units, up 614 percent YoY
Kia ranked eighth with retail sales of 464 units in July. This is a 614 percent year-on-year increase over the low base of 65 units in July 2025. However, sales were 14 percent lower than 539 units in June 2026. Kia’s monthly sales have improved since the launch of the mass-market Carens Clavis EV MPV, which joined the much more expensive EV6 and EV9, both of which are imported as CBUs.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor
July 2026: 123 units
Toyota delivered 123 units of the Urban Cruiser Ebella in July. This placed the company 11th among the country’s electric passenger vehicle manufacturers. The Urban Cruiser Ebella is the badge-engineered version of the Maruti e Vitara, and it is currently available in a single E3 variant.

Luxury electric carmakers sell record units in July
Demand for luxury electric cars continued to grow in July 2026. Carmakers in this segment sold 699 EVs, up 60 percent year-on-year. However, sales were 17 percent lower than the record 847 units sold in June 2026. BMW and Mercedes-Benz continued to lead the luxury EV market, while Tesla India crossed the 100-unit mark for the first time with its highest-ever monthly sales.
BMW India
BMW remained the leader in the luxury EV segment with 367 units. This is 36 percent higher than 270 units sold in July 2025, giving the brand a 52 percent segment share. However, sales were 29 percent lower than 517 units in June 2026. After topping the luxury EV segment in FY2026 with a record 3,898 units, BMW has sold 1,606 EVs between April and July, which is 41 percent of its FY2026 total.
Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes- Benz sold 163 EVs in July, up 42 percent from 115 units in July 2025. However, this was 33 percent lower than the 243 units sold in June 2026. The brand’s growth has been supported by the launch of the CLA electric sedan at the end of April.
Tesla
Tesla recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in India, selling 115 Model Ys in July. This is a 203 percent increase over 38 units sold in June 2026. Its luxury EV market share also rose sharply from 4 percent in June to 16 percent in July, allowing it to move ahead of Volvo Auto India. The strong growth follows Tesla India’s decision to reduce the price of the Model Y by Rs 9 lakh, bringing the starting price down to Rs 50.89 lakh, ex-showroom.
Volvo
Volvo, now ranked fourth in the luxury EV segment, sold 48 EVs in July. This is 14 percent higher than 42 units sold in July 2025 and 23 percent more than the 39 units sold in June 2026. The Swedish carmaker increased prices of its models by up to Rs 1 lakh from May 1, citing ongoing global supply chain challenges and fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. Volvo’s market share stood at 7 percent in July, down from 10 percent a year ago.
Porsche, Audi and Rolls-Royce
Porsche sold 6 EVs in July. According to Vahan data, Audi, Rolls-Royce and JLR India did not sell a single EV during the month.
Overall, luxury EV makers accounted for 2.14 percent of the 32,609 electric passenger vehicles sold in July 2026, compared to 2.45 percent in July 2025 and 2.54 percent in June 2026.

ऑटोमोबाइल सेक्टर की कंपनी मारुति सुजुकी ने जून तिमाही में मिले-जुले नतीजे पेश किए। कंपनी का शुद्ध मुनाफा 10.8% घटकर ₹3,352 करोड़ रहा, लेकिन यह बाजार के अनुमान से बेहतर रहा। वहीं, रेवेन्यू में अच्छी बढ़त दर्ज हुई। हालांकि ऑपरेटिंग मार्जिन पर दबाव बना रहा।
CDSL
डिपॉजिटरी सर्विसेज कंपनी CDSL का जून तिमाही में कंसोलिडेटेड शुद्ध मुनाफा 15% बढ़कर ₹117.51 करोड़ हो गया। आय में भी बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई। हालांकि, सालाना आधार पर कंपनी के मार्जिन में कुछ गिरावट देखने को मिली।
Indian Oil Corporation
सरकारी ऑयल मार्केटिंग कंपनी इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन (IOC) को जून तिमाही में ₹2,661.3 करोड़ का स्टैंडअलोन घाटा हुआ। यह घाटा बाजार के अनुमान से भी ज्यादा रहा। इसका मतलब कि कंपनी का प्रदर्शन उम्मीद से कमजोर रहा।
Muthoot Finance
गोल्ड लोन देने वाली एनबीएफसी कंपनी मुथूट फाइनेंस का जून तिमाही में शुद्ध मुनाफा करीब 39% बढ़ा। कंपनी की नेट इंटरेस्ट इनकम (NII) और ब्याज आय में भी मजबूत बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई। गोल्ड लोन कारोबार ने प्रदर्शन को सहारा दिया।
ITC
एफएमसीजी और सिगरेट कारोबार वाली कंपनी आईटीसी का स्टैंडअलोन शुद्ध मुनाफा 27.1% घटकर ₹3,578.8 करोड़ रह गया। वहीं, रेवेन्यू 14.4% घटकर ₹16,908 करोड़ पर आ गया। कंपनी का प्रदर्शन पिछले साल के मुकाबले कमजोर रहा।
Aarti Drugs
फार्मा कंपनी आरती ड्रग्स का जून तिमाही में शुद्ध मुनाफा 6.9% घटकर ₹50.17 करोड़ रह गया। हालांकि, कंपनी का रेवेन्यू 19% बढ़कर ₹702.78 करोड़ पहुंच गया। यानी बिक्री बढ़ी, लेकिन मुनाफे पर दबाव रहा।
Sarda Energy & Minerals
स्टील और पावर सेक्टर की कंपनी सारदा एनर्जी एंड मिनरल्स का जून तिमाही में कंसोलिडेटेड शुद्ध मुनाफा 5.5% बढ़कर ₹458.25 करोड़ हो गया। कंपनी ने पिछले साल के मुकाबले बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया।
GPT Infra
इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर कंपनी GPT Infra का जून तिमाही में कंसोलिडेटेड शुद्ध मुनाफा 5% बढ़कर ₹24.63 करोड़ रहा। हालांकि, इस दौरान कंपनी की आय 3% घटकर ₹302.07 करोड़ रह गई।
NALCO
सरकारी एल्युमिनियम कंपनी NALCO ने जून तिमाही में मजबूत नतीजे पेश किए। कंपनी का मुनाफा करीब 91% और आय 39% से ज्यादा बढ़ी। बेहतर प्रदर्शन से निवेशकों की नजर इस स्टॉक पर रहेगी।
Raymond Lifestyle
लाइफस्टाइल और परिधान कंपनी रेमंड लाइफस्टाइल की आय जून तिमाही में करीब 6% बढ़ी। हालांकि, बढ़ते खर्च की वजह से कंपनी का शुद्ध घाटा बढ़ गया। इसके बावजूद EBITDA और मार्जिन में सुधार दर्ज किया गया।
Sterlite Technologies
टेलीकॉम नेटवर्क और ऑप्टिकल फाइबर कंपनी स्टरलाइट टेक्नोलॉजीज को एक घरेलू टेलीकॉम ऑपरेटर से ₹960 करोड़ का मल्टी-ईयर सप्लाई एग्रीमेंट मिला है। कंपनी अगले दो साल तक ऑप्टिकल फाइबर केबल की सप्लाई करेगी।
Marathon Nextgen Realty
रियल एस्टेट कंपनी मैराथन नेक्स्टजेन रियल्टी ने मुंबई के सेवरी माइक्रो-मार्केट में एक रेजिडेंशियल रीडेवलपमेंट प्रोजेक्ट शुरू किया है। इस प्रोजेक्ट की ग्रॉस डेवलपमेंट वैल्यू (GDV) करीब ₹450 करोड़ है। इससे कंपनी की मुंबई में मौजूदगी और मजबूत होने की उम्मीद है।

प्लास्टिक फर्नीचर और मटीरियल हैंडलिंग कंपनी नीलकमल का जून तिमाही में मुनाफा 59% से ज्यादा बढ़ा। हालांकि, इस दौरान कंपनी की आय में गिरावट रही। खर्च कम होने और बेहतर ऑपरेटिंग प्रदर्शन से मुनाफा बढ़ा।
APL Apollo
स्टील ट्यूब बनाने वाली कंपनी APL Apollo का जून तिमाही में कंसोलिडेटेड शुद्ध मुनाफा 11% बढ़कर ₹263 करोड़ हो गया। पिछले साल इसी तिमाही में यह ₹237 करोड़ था।
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals
फार्मा कंपनी ग्लेनमार्क फार्मास्यूटिकल्स का जून तिमाही में कंसोलिडेटेड शुद्ध मुनाफा 930% बढ़कर ₹483 करोड़ पहुंच गया। पिछले साल इसी अवधि में कंपनी ने ₹47 करोड़ का मुनाफा कमाया था।

In a new regulatory filing to stock exchanges, Tata Motors has reported a temporary disruption to operations at its manufacturing plants in Sanand, Gujarat, after heavy monsoon rains and flooding affected the region. Specifically, some areas in Gujarat received between 300mm and 500mm of rain within 24 hours, which led to flooding, widespread road and rail disruptions, and the evacuation of more than 40,000 people across the state.

In the regulatory filing, Tata Motors revealed that severe flooding disrupted supplier facilities in and around Gujarat as well, further impacting the carmaker’s supply chain. Efforts to restore operations at Tata’s assembly plants and vendor facilities are underway, and the carmaker is working closely with flood-affected suppliers to help them resume production as quickly as possible. If all goes to plan, production at Tata’s Sanand plants is expected to bounce back over the next few days.
Established in 2010 and located 25-30 km from Ahmedabad, the Sanand manufacturing complex houses two Tata Motors passenger vehicle plants. Both Sanand facilities manufacture the Tata Sierra, Nexon, Tiago, and Tigor, so the production pause could prolong waiting periods for these models.
Tata Motors also stated the overall financial impact and extent of damage are still being assessed. However, the carmaker assured that it has adequate insurance coverage for losses arising from natural calamities such as floods.
Gujarat-based electric motorcycle startup Avore has unveiled three electric motorcycles simultaneously – the EX1, EX2 and EX2S – marking the brand’s debut products. All three are available for pre-booking and share the same basic design, with the models differentiated by battery capacity, range, top speed and features.

The EX2 steps up to a larger 5kWh battery, increasing the claimed IDC range to 255km while maintaining the same 100kph top speed. It also gets three riding modes, and Avore claims the battery can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in approximately two hours using a standard 15A socket. The EX2 is priced at Rs 1.46 lakh.
The range-topping EX2S, priced at Rs 1.70 lakh, shares the EX2’s 5kWh battery but raises the top speed to 114kph and the claimed IDC range to 260km. It also gets five riding modes and a 7-inch touchscreen display, making it the only variant in the lineup to feature the larger screen.
Full specifications, including kerb weight, seat height, suspension details and detailed charging times, are yet to be disclosed, and we’ll update this story once they are announced. Avore has confirmed that pre-bookings are now open for a token amount of Rs 799, while delivery timelines are yet to be revealed.
Valsad Heavy Rain: गुजरात में गुरुवार को जारी मूसलाधार बारिश के कारण कई जिलों में भीषण बाढ़ की स्थिति बन गई है। इसमें वलसाड जिला सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हुआ है। स्टेट इमरजेंसी ऑपरेशन सेंटर (SEOC) के मुताबिक वलसाड जिले के उमरगाम में गुरुवार सुबह तक महज 16 घंटे में करीब 1100 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग के मुताबिक वलसाड जिले के अन्य तालुकाओं में भी इसी अवधि में 600 मिमी से अधिक पानी बरसा है।

IMD द्वारा दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार, वलसाड जिले के उमरगाम में दर्ज यह बारिश देश के इतिहास में 24 घंटे के भीतर दर्ज की गई तीसरी सबसे अधिक बारिश है।

मौसम विभाग (IMD) ने गुरुवार और शुक्रवार को अत्यधिक भारी बारिश का अनुमान जताते हुए वलसाड, नवसारी, डांग, सूरत और तापी जिलों के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। प्रभावित इलाकों में राहत और बचाव कार्य जारी हैं। गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र पटेल ने बारिश से प्रभावित जिलों में स्थिति पर नजर रखने और स्थानीय प्रशासन के साथ राहत कार्यों के समन्वय के लिए कई मंत्रियों को तैनात किया है।

खबरों के अनुसार, फैक्टरी में आग इतनी तेजी से फैली कि कई मजदूरों को बाहर निकलने का मौका ही नहीं मिला। आशंका जताई जा रही है कि मलबे में कुछ और लोग फंसे हो सकते हैं, जिससे मृतकों की संख्या बढ़ सकती है। पुलिस और स्थानीय प्रशासन ने पूरे इलाके की घेराबंदी कर दी है, जिससे राहत और बचाव कार्य में किसी तरह की बाधा न आए।
यह भी पता लगाने की कोशिश की जा रही है कि फैक्टरी में सुरक्षा मानकों का पालन किया जा रहा था या नहीं? हालांकि जांच के बाद ही हादसे की असली वजह सामने आ सकेगी। प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया है कि फैक्टरी बिना लाइसेंस के संचालित की जा रही थी। इस मामले में भारतीय न्याय संहिता (बीएनएस) की धारा 105 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया जा रहा है।
भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (ISRO) में हाल के महीनों में 100 से अधिक वैज्ञानिकों के इस्तीफा देने की खबरों के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने बड़ा कदम उठाया है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, विशेष रूप से गगनयान (Gaganyaan) और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण अंतरिक्ष मिशनों से जुड़े वैज्ञानिकों के स्वैच्छिक इस्तीफे (Resignation) और स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति (VRS) पर अब कड़ी निगरानी रखी जाएगी।
हालांकि अंतरिक्ष विभाग ने आधिकारिक तौर पर इस्तीफा देने वाले वैज्ञानिकों की संख्या जारी नहीं की है, लेकिन मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक हाल के महीनों में 100 से 120 वैज्ञानिकों ने ISRO छोड़ने का फैसला किया है।
रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक बेंगलुरु स्थित यू.आर. राव सैटेलाइट सेंटर (URSC) से करीब 80 वैज्ञानिकों ने इस्तीफा दिया। तिरुवनंतपुरम स्थित विक्रम साराभाई स्पेस सेंटर (VSSC) से लगभग 20 वैज्ञानिकों के जाने की जानकारी सामने आई है। सूत्रों का कहना है कि इस्तीफों की संख्या 100 से अधिक होकर 120 तक पहुंच सकती है।
14 जुलाई को जारी एक आंतरिक ज्ञापन (Internal Memorandum), जिसे India Today ने एक्सेस किया है, के अनुसार केंद्र सरकार ने ISRO के सभी केंद्रों को निर्देश दिया है कि गगनयान और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण मिशनों से जुड़े ग्रुप 'A' वैज्ञानिक एवं तकनीकी अधिकारियों के इस्तीफे या स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति के आवेदन सीधे स्वीकार न किए जाएं। अब ऐसे सभी मामलों को अंतिम निर्णय के लिए अंतरिक्ष विभाग (Department of Space) के पास भेजा जाएगा।
भारत का गगनयान मिशन देश का पहला मानव अंतरिक्ष मिशन है और इसे ISRO की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं में गिना जाता है। ऐसे में अनुभवी वैज्ञानिकों के बड़े पैमाने पर संगठन छोड़ने की खबरों ने सरकार की चिंता बढ़ा दी है। इसी वजह से अब महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं से जुड़े वैज्ञानिकों के इस्तीफों पर केंद्रीय स्तर पर फैसला लिया जाएगा।
