Apart from Kerala and Gujarat, the 2026 Renault Triber MPV is available with benefits amounting to Rs 60,000. Buyers will be offered a cash discount of Rs 15,000, scrappage incentives worth up to Rs 25,000 or an exchange offer of Rs 15,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.

While the scrappage and corporate offers are unchanged, residents of Kerala and Gujarat get cash discounts of up to Rs 30,000 and exchange benefits worth up to Rs 30,000. The 2026 Renault Triber is priced from Rs 5.81 lakh to Rs 8.53 lakh.

Kia Sorento to launch on September 4

The Kia Sorento three-row SUV will go on sale in India on September 4, 2026. It will be positioned above the Seltos as Kia India’s flagship ICE SUV, and will also be the carmaker’s first hybrid model for the Indian market. Official bookings for the Sorento opened very recently too.

Since the Sorento is anticipated to be locally assembled, expect pricing to start at around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). At that price point, the Sorento will rival premium three-row SUVs like the Volkswagen Tayron, MG Majestor, Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner, and Jeep Meridian.

Kia Sorento powertrain options

Kia will offer the Sorento with hybrid and diesel powertrains in India. If the international-spec Sorento is anything to go by, the India-spec model could feature a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol hybrid setup developing 238hp and 380Nm, along with a 2.2-litre diesel engine outputting 202hp and 441Nm – this mill is used in the Kia Carnival too. Both Sorento engines are likely to be paired with automatic transmissions. Though the global-spec Sorento can be had in FWD and AWD guises, it remains to be seen whether the latter drive layout will be available for Indian buyers.

In terms of dimensions, the global-spec Sorento measures 4,815mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,700mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 2,815mm. Should these hold true for the India-spec model, the Sorento will be larger than most of its rivals.

Inside, the India-spec Sorento is likely to be offered with 6-seat and 7-seat configurations. Boot space is rated at 179 litres with all three rows up, extendable to a cavernous 1,996 litres. Notable elements on the premium-looking dashboard include dual 12.3-inch displays, a four-spoke steering wheel with an offset Kia logo, large vertical AC vents on both extremities, a touch-capacitive panel on the centre console, and a rotary drive selector.

The Sorento is expected to pack creature comforts like ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a powered driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, a heads-up display, an electronic parking brake, ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad, and more.

Expected to be locally assembled, the Sorento will sit above the Seltos as Kia India’s flagship ICE SUV and is also set to become the brand’s first hybrid model for the Indian market. While official specifications are yet to be revealed, spy shots, dealer inputs and details of the global-spec model provide a good idea of what to expect. Here’s everything we know so far.

Kia has unofficially begun accepting pre-bookings for the Sorento through select dealerships for a token amount of Rs 25,000. According to dealer sources, the SUV is expected to launch by October 2026, although Kia is yet to officially confirm the timeline.

The Hilux, currently in its eighth-generation avatar in the country, was launched in March 2022 and has been a relative success, especially against the likes of the Isuzu V-Cross pickup. With the new-generation model, teasers suggest that Toyota will give the Hilux a full design overhaul, making it look more modern and offering a handful of new features. Here’s everything you can expect from the 2026 Toyota Hilux in India:

1. What is the expected price of the 2026 Toyota Hilux in India

With the new-generation update, Toyota is expected to raise the Hilux’s prices by a considerable margin. For reference, the current model is priced from Rs 28.52 lakh to Rs 36 lakh (ex-showroom). So, the upcoming new-generation Hilux is likely to have a price tag of somewhere between Rs 32 lakh and Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).

2. What engine option will power the 2026 Toyota Hilux?

However, the Hilux EV’s India launch is highely unlike in the country.

Compared to the current model, the international-spec ninth-generation Hilux has plenty of prominent creases and angles that make it look more aggressive. The grille is squarer than before and features prominent angular honeycomb-mesh design elements.

On the bumper, there are two quadrangle-shaped black air intakes on either side of the grille. The lower section of the bumper looks very aggressive with strong creases, wide air intakes, a silver skid plate, and two LED fog lamps.

Compared to the front, the side profile design is cleaner. The international model gets 18-inch black alloy wheels, squared-off black cladding on wheel arches and a footboard for easier ingress and egress. Unlike modern-day cars, the new-gen Hilux offers a plethora of physical controls on the centre console and transmission tunnel. Like the current model, the international-spec ninth-gen Hilux features an all-black cabin.

The Carens MPV gets the least benefits out of any Kia model here. MY26 models get a corporate offer of up to Rs 15,000 and either an exchange or scrappage bonus of up to Rs 20,000. But MY25 versions of the Carens only get a scrappage bonus of Rs 20,000. It is available in only one trim, powered by either a petrol or diesel engine, with a price range of Rs 11.02 lakh to Rs 12.88 lakh. While the flagship Renault Duster is yet to witness any official offers, the maximum benefits are available on the Kiger. The Kiger carries the highest benefits of up to Rs 1.25 lakh for a Renault car in July 2026. The maximum benefits are available for customers based in Kerala: a cash discount of Rs 50,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 50,000, scrappage benefits of up to Rs 25,000, and loyalty benefits of up to Rs 18,000. In Gujarat, the cash discount and exchange benefits drop to Rs 30,000 and up to Rs 40,000, respectively. Customers from other states can avail a Rs 20,000 cash discount, exchange benefits of up to Rs 25,000, and scrappage, loyalty and referral benefits.

The Renault Kiger is priced from Rs 5.81 lakh to Rs 10.35 lakh, and it rivals compact SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylaq and Tata Nexon.

Renault Triber July 2026 offers

Benefits of up to Rs 60,000

Like the Kiger, the highest offers of up to Rs 60,000 on select Triber variants are available for customers in Kerala. These include a cash discount of Rs 30,000 and an exchange benefit of up to Rs 30,000. Customers in Gujarat can avail offers of up to Rs 45,000, including a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of up to Rs 25,000. Customers from other states can avail benefits of up to Rs 30,000 only, including a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. Renault is also offering loyalty bonuses, corporate offers and rural benefits to eligible customers.

The Renault Triber is priced from Rs 5.81 lakh to Rs 8.48 lakh and locks horns with the Nissan Gravite, while being an affordable alternative to the larger Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Rumion and Kia Carens.

Renault Kwid July 2026 offers

Benefits of up to Rs 15,000

In July 2026, the 2026 Renault Kwid is available with cash discounts of up to Rs 15,000 across select Indian states, which do not include Kerala, Assam, Karnataka, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. The older version of the Kwid is available with a cash discount of up to Rs 30,000, depending on the location.

The Renault Kwid is priced from Rs 4.53 lakh to Rs 5.61 lakh. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso and Tata Tiago.

Kia unofficially opens bookings of the Sorento

Kia has unofficially commenced pre-bookings for the Sorento for an amount of Rs 25,000, our dealer sources have confirmed. The new model will serve as the flagship ICE-powered SUV of Kia India’s lineup. While the Sorento is expected to debut later this month, our dealer sources have hinted at an October 2026 launch.

Kia Sorento: All that we know so far

Our dealer sources stated that a 1.6-litre strong-hybrid turbo-petrol engine would power the Sorento. While power figures remain under wraps, the UK-spec Sorento, for reference, gets a 1.6-litre strong-hybrid turbo-petrol engine that produces a combined 238hp and 380Nm of torque, and comes mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Depending on the market, the Sorento is offered in FWD or AWD configurations, and it remains to be seen what is brought to India.

Additionally, dealers mentioned that the SUV would offer 5,6, and 7-seater configurations. If that’s the case, it would be the segment’s only model to offer three seating configurations.

Kia Sorento: Additional details

The SUV was first spied on our roads in late 2025.

The global-spec Sorento is 4,815mm long, 1,900mm wide, 1,700mm tall and gets a 2,815mm wheelbase. Being a slightly older model, it does not get the carmaker’s latest ‘Opposite Unite’ design language, though it retains typical Kia design details like the ‘Tiger nose’ inspired grille, and gets roof rails, chrome surrounds for the side windows and dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels. Heavily camouflaged mules of the SUV have been spied testing previously on our roads. Its interior comes well equipped with features like dual 12.3-inch displays for the instrument and infotainment displays, panoramic sunroof, front seat ventilation, powered driver seat level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera and more.

The Sorento will be locally assembled in India. With an expected ex-showroom price of Rs 40 lakh to Rs 50 lakh, it will take on the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq and the Volkswagen Tyron.

Maruti Grand Vitara gets offers of up to Rs 95,000 in July 2026

Maruti Suzuki is offering attractive offers across its premium Nexa range in July 2026. Depending on the model and variant, these include cash discounts, exchange or scrappage offers, corporate benefits and loyalty bonuses. Exchange and scrappage benefits cannot be claimed together. The loyalty bonus is available only to existing Maruti customers, and it can be combined only with the exchange bonus. Corporate benefits are exclusively offered to eligible organisations and approved finance partners.

Every Maruti Invicto trim gets benefits of up to Rs 2.10 lakh this month, which is slightly lower than in June. These offers include a cash discount of up to Rs 50,000, exchange benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh, a Rs 50,000 loyalty bonus and a Rs 10,000 corporate benefit. The Invicto MPV is Maruti’s version of the Toyota Innova Hycross, and it is priced between Rs 24.97 lakh and Rs 28.60 lakh.

Maruti Grand Vitara discounts in July 2026

Up to Rs 95,000

The Maruti Grand Vitara gets benefits of up to Rs 95,000 in July. The Sigma petrol MT variant attracts the highest discounts of up to Rs 95,000, while the Delta petrol gets benefits of up to Rs 85,000. Buyers of the Zeta petrol and Alpha petrol variants get a Rs 25,000 cash discount along with a complimentary 5-year extended warranty (it cannot be exchanged for cash, and is non-transferable).

The strong hybrid variants are available with zero road tax benefit, a complimentary 5-year extended warranty, up to Rs 50,000 exchange bonus, Rs 30,000 upgrade loyalty bonus and a Rs 10,000 corporate benefit. The Delta CNG and Zeta CNG variants also come with total benefits of up to Rs 90,000. The Grand Vitara is priced between Rs 10.76 lakh and Rs 19.72 lakh.

Maruti Jimny discounts in July 2026

Up to Rs 45,000

Like last month, a cash discount of Rs 45,000 is available with all Maruti Jimny variants. The compact off-roader is priced between Rs 12.39 lakh and Rs 14.52 lakh.

Maruti XL6 discounts in July 2026

Next, the Maruti XL6 gets offers going up to Rs 45,000 on both petrol and CNG variants. Thes comprise a cash discount of up to Rs 20,000 and a scrappage bonus of up to Rs 25,000. Maruti Fronx discounts in July 2026

Up to Rs 25,000

Lastly, the Maruti Fronx gets benefits of up to Rs 25,000 in July. The turbo-petrol variants are available with a Rs 10,000 cash discount and a Rs 15,000 scrappage bonus. Meanwhile, the naturally-aspirated petrol and CNG variants do not get a cash discount but are offered with a scrappage bonus of up to Rs 15,000. The Fronx price starts at Rs 6.85 lakh and tops out at Rs 11.84 lakh.
