Kimi Antonelli currently leads the F1 standings by 59 points. However, it’s going to be a challenging home race for the Italian as he’ll be starting from the back of the grid due to a power unit change. Speaking at the Thursday press conference, though, Antonelli explained that this does ease off the pressure on him a bit. “Although I’d very much rather fight for pole and start at the front, in some ways I feel like it makes me a bit more relaxed going into the weekend. And I think that’s also why I’m going to be able to enjoy more the driving and the weekend itself,” he stated.

“Of course, it’s a different opportunity as well. It’s an opportunity to try something different during the weekend, different work method as well, in free practice especially, because we have the chance to do so.”

Ferrari will be running a special Michael Schumacher-inspired livery at Monza. But the Italia team has also come armed with a new engine update that Lewis Hamilton has described as “a step forward”. He added, “It’s not the whole gap that we need, but we knew that would be the case. But to see bits coming each weekend, adding to the car, it’s exciting to see that we are pushing and, you know, strongly still believe that we’ve got what it takes to win.”

Over at Red Bull, Liam Lawson will once again replace Isack Hadjar, who continues his recovery from a wrist injury. Yuki Tsunoda, meanwhile, will drive for Racing Bulls for the second race in a row.

Lone Star Le Mans kicks off the second half of the 2026 World Endurance Championship. The anti-clockwise COTA track has delivered some memorable races in the past and the 2026 edition could prove to be crucial for the final standings.

Ather has launched the Konarc with a brand-new EL platform at prices starting as low as Rs 99,999. This makes the scooter an obvious rival to the TVS Orbiter, which was revealed last year to target the urban scooter market. Since the Ather Konarc’s entry-level variant isn’t due for release until late next year, let’s see how the Konarc S 125, available later this month, compares to the TVS Orbiter V2.

Starting with the motor, the TVS Orbiter falls short of the Ather in terms of peak power. TVS has not mentioned a peak torque output for the Orbiter. However, the Orbiter bounces back with a higher battery capacity and range, as well as a quicker 0-80 charge time with a faster 650W bundled charger.

That said, both scooters offer optional hardware to speed up charging times. The Ather Konarc comes with a built-in 450W charger as standard, and it can be bundled with an external 450W charger for a faster 900W total charging speed, cutting the time down to 2 hours and 25 minutes. The Orbiter also offers a faster 950W charger as an add-on accessory, but it takes a longer 2 hours and 38 minutes to get to 80 percent from nil.

The Orbiter starts strong with an advantage in two important areas for a practical scooter: seat height and ground clearance. The Konarc is also the heavier scooter, with a 14.5kg higher kerb weight than the Orbiter. TVS hasn’t shared the wheelbase figure for the Orbiter.

The hardware package is where the Konarc gains significant ground. It gets a front disc brake compared to the Orbiter’s drum brake, along with wider front and rear tyres. Suspension setups are more evenly matched between the two, although the real-world experience could tip the scales towards one.

TVS remains in (surprising) lockstep

Ather has reserved most of the headlining new features, such as the TFT instrument cluster, auto (boot) pop, smart key, and so on, for the Z line. The Konarc S gets a DeepView LCD instrument cluster and comes with AirWalk, which takes the motor’s assistance to make manually moving the scooter easier. Considering Ather’s tech-savviness, this is unsurprising. Some other tech-powered features include turn-by-turn navigation, AutoHold (hill hold), Vehicle FallSafe, TrueRange, and Find my Scooter, among others. The catch, however, is that all of them require you to pay for Ather StackPro, a one-time Rs 16,000 add-on to the Konarc S 125’s ex-showroom price.

The Orbiter, on the other hand, has a much smaller LCD cluster but matches almost all of Konarc’s features, such as turn-by-turn navigation, hill-hold, smartphone connectivity, theft and tow alerts, crash and fall alerts and motor cut-off on fall. TVS also offers cruise control, which is currently only on the Ather 450 series of scooters. Right now, you get access to all the features mentioned above at no extra cost on the Orbiter, but it remains to be seen if that will change, as the TVS iQube charges an annual subscription of Rs 999 for some advanced features.

The two variants in comparison here make the Ather about Rs 8,000 more expensive than the Orbiter. If you prefer access to all the smart features offered by Ather StackPro, that will increase the gap even further. Even though the two e-scooters are aimed at bringing in more mainstream users to the brands, both have been designed with different demographics in mind. If you happen to be in the common demographic, though, you should definitely take a test ride before picking one over the other because the on-paper specs don’t tell the whole story.

Tata Curvv Series X launched at Rs 9.9 lakh

Tata Motors has introduced the Curvv Series X, with prices ranging from Rs 9.9 lakh to Rs 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The new range gets a reshuffled variant lineup, with features from higher variants moved to lower and mid-spec versions. Tata has also expanded the availability of the #DARK edition across the range, while the powertrain remains unchanged.

The Smart X is the most affordable variant in the lineup, priced Rs 14,000 higher than the previous base trim. The petrol-diesel price gap has been reduced to Rs 1.3 lakh from Rs 1.5 lakh previously, while the premium for the automatic gearbox has also come down to Rs 1.3 lakh from Rs 1.5 lakh.

Tata Curvv Series X interior and features

The Curvv Series X gets a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, cruise control and a rear-view camera. It also gets a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, smart key with push-button start, front and rear USB ports, Wi-Fi connectivity and multiple drive modes.

The cabin gets a lighter interior theme with leatherette upholstery and leatherette finishes on the steering wheel, gear-shift knob and centre-console armrest. Rear passengers get dedicated AC vents, a rear armrest and reclining rear seats. The front seat-back is 10mm slimmer, while the rear seat has been moved 20mm rearwards and 10mm lower.

Other features include a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree 3D surround-view camera with a blind-view monitor, front parking assist, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps. Safety equipment includes six airbags, ESP, hill-hold control, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.

The Curvv Series X retains the SUV-coupe design of the existing model, with flush door handles, an illuminated four-spoke steering wheel, LED headlamps, DRLs and tail-lamps, and a rear spoiler. The Series X gets a black grille treatment in place of the earlier chrome finish. The #DARK edition is now available from lower down the range, with a blacked-out exterior and Obsidian-themed interior. It gets 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while higher versions offer 18-inchers.

The Curvv Series X continues with three engine options: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol producing 120hp and 170Nm, a 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol producing 125hp and 225Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel producing 118hp and 260Nm.

The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel are available with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol is exclusive to the top-spec Accomplished X+ and is paired with the 7-speed DCA.

Shree Jagannath Temple: अयोध्या में राम मंदिर के लिए मिले दान में गड़बड़ी के आरोपों के बीच, पुरी के श्री जगन्नाथ मंदिर प्रशासन (SJTA) ने बुधवार को मंदिर की बैंक में जमा रकम की जानकारी सार्वजनिक की। प्रशासन के मुताबिक, मंदिर के बैंक खातों में अब तक करीब 1,912 करोड़ रुपये जमा हैं।

TOI के मुताबिक, सरकार द्वारा संचालित SJTA ने एक लिखित बयान में कहा कि मंदिर के आर्थिक मामलों का प्रबंधन पूरी पारदर्शिता के साथ किया जाता है, जिसमें व्यवस्थित अकाउंटिंग और नियमित ऑडिट की प्रक्रियाएं शामिल हैं। SJTA के मुख्य प्रशासक अरबिंद कुमार पाधी ने कहा कि जवाबदेही और जनता का भरोसा बनाए रखने के लिए मजबूत व्यवस्थाएं मौजूद हैं।

SJTA के अनुसार, मंदिर कई स्रोतों से कमाई करता है, जैसे भक्तों का दान और चढ़ावा, मंदिर की अपनी खदानों से होने वाली कमाई, फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट पर मिलने वाला ब्याज, जमीन के लेन-देन से होने वाली आय और सरकारी ग्रांट।

इसके अलावा, कमाई का एक तय हिस्सा ‘कॉर्पस फंड’ के तौर पर फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट में रखा जाता है, जबकि एक और हिस्सा ‘फाउंडेशन फंड’ के लिए अलग किया जाता है। बाकी पैसा मंदिर के फंड अकाउंट में रखा जाता है। मंदिर के फंड का इस्तेमाल इस प्राचीन मंदिर की पूजा-पाठ, धार्मिक सेवाओं और प्रशासनिक कामकाज के रोजमर्रा के खर्चों को पूरा करने के लिए किया जाता है। अगर कोई अतिरिक्त पैसा बचता है, तो उसे बाद में फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट में बदल दिया जाता है ताकि भगवान की संपत्ति को सुरक्षित और मजबूत बनाया जा सके।

बता दें कि 31 अगस्त तक, SJTA ने लगभग 1,912 करोड़ रुपये की बैंक संपत्ति जमा कर ली है। इसमें कॉर्पस, फाउंडेशन और मंदिर की जमा राशि जैसे तीन मुख्य मदों के तहत रखे गए लगभग 1,811 करोड़, 9 लाख और 58 हजार रुपये शामिल हैं। इस आंकड़े में जून 2024 में राज्य सरकार द्वारा कॉर्पस में दिए गए 500 करोड़ रुपये का योगदान भी शामिल है।

अरबिंद कुमार पाढ़ी ने कहा, “मंदिर के पास अभी सेविंग्स, करंट और फ्लेक्सी अकाउंट्स में लगभग 100 करोड़, 70 लाख, 66 हजार और 868 रुपये हैं। लोगों का भरोसा बनाए रखने और पूरी पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, मंदिर की हुंडी से इकट्ठा हुई रकम की गिनती हर दिन की जाती है। इसकी जानकारी तुरंत ऑफिशियल नोटिस बोर्ड और डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म पर दिखाई जाती है, ताकि दुनिया भर के भक्त इसे देख सकें।”

उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि इस साल 15 जुलाई को मुख्यमंत्री मोहन चरण माझी द्वारा डिजिटल हुंडी ‘समर्पण’ प्लेटफॉर्म लॉन्च किए जाने के बाद से, भक्तों ने ऑनलाइन डोनेशन सिस्टम के जरिए 56.7 लाख रुपये का योगदान दिया है।

हालांकि, मंदिर के फंड के गलत इस्तेमाल का कोई आरोप अभी तक सामने नहीं आया है, लेकिन पुलिस सूत्रों का कहना है कि पिछले 25 सालों में मंदिर में कैश, गहनों और मूर्तियों की चोरी की कम से कम सात घटनाएं हुई हैं।

ऐसे ही एक मामले में, मंदिर के क्लर्क प्रदीप कुमार महापात्रा को 7 फरवरी, 2024 को दान की गिनती के दौरान CCTV सर्विलांस के जरिए 31,940 रुपये नकद चुराते हुए पकड़े जाने का आरोप है। इससे पहले, 15 जुलाई, 2023 को मंदिर के चपरासी सुशांत कुमार राउतराय को गिनती की प्रक्रिया के दौरान 800 रुपये चुराने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था।

The Honda Elevate is available with discounts worth up to Rs 1.79 lakh this September, applicable for both MY25 and MY26 cars. These come in the form of cash discounts of up to Rs 60,000, loyalty benefits of Rs 4,000, corporate benefits of up to Rs 10,000 and exchange offers worth up to Rs 1.05 lakh. Honda is also providing buyers of the Elevate with an extended 7-year warranty at up to Rs 18,600, which is inclusive of a 50 percent discount. The price of the Honda Elevate ranges from Rs 11.81 lakh to Rs 16.78 lakh.

Benefits of up to Rs 1.30 lakh

The top-spec variants of the Honda City are being offered this month with discounts amounting to Rs 1.30 lakh. Customers can avail cash discounts worth up to Rs 60,000 and loyalty incentives of Rs 4,000. There are also exchange benefits worth up to Rs 56,000, while corporate discounts can go up to Rs 10,000. There’s also a 50 percent discount on the extended 7-year warranty, now costing Rs 16,900. The Honda City is priced from Rs 12.08 lakh to Rs 21.44 lakh.

Honda Amaze offers in September 2026

Benefits of up to Rs 50,000

Honda is offering discounts similar to those available last month on both the second-gen and third-gen Amaze in September 2026. Those opting for the former can avail consumer benefits worth up to Rs 40,000, alongside the brand’s extended 7-year warranty with a 50 percent discount, i.e., at Rs 14,600.

Select variants of the third-gen Amaze come with cash discounts of up to Rs 15,000, loyalty benefits of Rs 4,000 and corporate offers of up to Rs 10,000. Exchange bonuses of up to Rs 21,000 are also available. Meanwhile, the extended 7-year warranty is the same as that of the second-gen model. The price of the Honda Amaze second-gen model is from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 7.80 lakh while that of the third-gen Amaze is between Rs 7.65 lakh and Rs 10.00 lakh.
