Skoda has revealed the flagship fourth-generation Superb in India ahead of the sedan’s expected launch in the first half of 2027. The Czech manufacturer will bring the Superb’s range-topping Laurin & Klement (L&K) trim to India as a completely built unit (CBU) import. Customers can now register their interest in the Skoda Superb at dealerships, with deliveries slated to commence in the second quarter of 2027.

Interestingly, the Superb was previously brought to India as a CBU import in 2024. However, this will be the first time the fourth-generation model is officially offered to Indian customers. Its arrival also marks the return of a diesel engine to the wider Volkswagen Group in India after a six-year absence. Diesel engines were last offered by the group in the country in 2020, before the BS6 emission norms came into effect.

The India-spec Skoda Superb will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 150hp and 290Nm. It will be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) that sends power to the front wheels (FWD). With this engine in the Superb, Skoda claims a 0-100kph sprint time of 9.2 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 225kph.  

A more powerful 193hp version of this engine, paired with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, was showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo, but has now been ruled out for the final India-spec version.

The India-spec Superb will, however, be offered with Progressive Dynamic Steering and Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) to automatically adjust the handling balance based on driving speed, road conditions and selected driving mode.

The fourth-generation Skoda Superb retains the elegant look usually associated with the model. Up front, it features the Skoda Signature grille with chrome slats and a chrome surround. The bumper has honeycomb mesh air inlets and a horizontal chrome bar in the centre. It gets Matrix LED headlights with a cornering function and LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) with welcome and goodbye animations.

Moving on to the profile, Skoda will offer the Superb with 18-inch dual-tone alloys as standard. The window surrounds have a chrome finish, and the front fenders have the ‘Laurin & Klement’ badge. At the rear are wraparound LED tail-lights with the same welcome animations as the front DRLs and a Skoda wordmark on the tailgate.

Gets a cognac-hued cabin, two digital screens and a lot of convenience features

The interior, too, is as elegant as the exterior, featuring a dual-tone black-and-Cognac cabin theme and a simple dashboard with a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch digital driver’s display and a 3-spoke steering wheel with ‘Skoda’ wordmark. Like the Kodiaq SUV, it gets rotary dials with digital screens on the centre console to operate climate and audio controls. The seats have leatherette upholstery that matches the cabin’s colour scheme.

Other features include a 14-speaker Canton sound system, triple-zone climate control, a 25-Watt wireless phone charger, rear sunblinds and a powered tailgate with gesture support. The front seats are powered and offer features such as memory, heating, ventilation and massage. The Skoda Superb also comes with a ‘Sleep Package’ as standard, featuring adjustable headrests for the rear outboard seats and two blankets for added comfort.

Safety features include 10 airbags, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), an electronic parking brake, a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and automatic parking assistance.

As a CBU import, the Skoda Superb is expected to have a premium positioning and be priced in the Rs 55 lakh-60 lakh range. However, with the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) set to come into force in 2027, reduced import duties could make the Superb more affordable. If Skoda manages to price it competitively, the Superb could be a fitting alternative to the Toyota Camry, currently the only other sedan in this premium segment.

भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था की रफ्तार मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष FY27 में कुछ धीमी पड़ सकती है। India Ratings & Research (Ind-Ra) ने मंगलवार को जारी अपनी रिपोर्ट में FY27 के लिए GDP ग्रोथ 6.8% रहने का अनुमान जताया है। यह FY26 की 7.6% ग्रोथ से कम है। हालांकि यह एजेंसी के मई 2026 के 6.7% अनुमान से थोड़ा बेहतर है।

इससे पहले भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) भी FY27 के लिए अपना ग्रोथ अनुमान बढ़ाकर 6.7% कर चुका है। Ind-Ra का कहना है कि घरेलू अर्थव्यवस्था में मजबूती बनी हुई है, लेकिन कई बाहरी और घरेलू जोखिम आगे की रफ्तार को प्रभावित कर सकते हैं।

पश्चिम एशिया संकट और अल नीनो सबसे बड़े जोखिम

रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, पश्चिम एशिया में जारी तनाव, महंगाई, रुपये की कमजोरी और अल नीनो का कृषि पर संभावित असर इस वित्त वर्ष के दौरान भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए प्रमुख जोखिम बने रहेंगे। एजेंसी का मानना है कि इन कारकों का असर खपत, निवेश और ग्रामीण मांग पर पड़ सकता है।

कच्चे तेल के अनुमान में राहत

Ind-Ra ने FY27 के लिए कच्चे तेल का औसत भाव 95 डॉलर से घटाकर 85 डॉलर प्रति बैरल कर दिया है। एजेंसी के मुख्य अर्थशास्त्री और हेड-पब्लिक फाइनेंस देवेंद्र पंत के अनुसार, सस्ता कच्चा तेल भारत के लिए राहत भरा हो सकता है, क्योंकि इससे व्यापार घाटा (Trade Deficit) और चालू खाते का घाटा (Current Account Deficit) कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।

हालांकि उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि अगर अल नीनो की वजह से खाद्य महंगाई बढ़ती है, तो सस्ते तेल का पूरा फायदा अर्थव्यवस्था को नहीं मिल पाएगा।

रुपये में कमजोरी की उम्मीद

एजेंसी का अनुमान है कि FY27 में डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपये का औसत विनिमय दर 93.98 रुपये प्रति डॉलर रह सकता है। यह मई के 94.28 रुपये के अनुमान से थोड़ा बेहतर है, लेकिन सालाना आधार पर करीब 6.4% की कमजोरी को दर्शाता है।

रिपोर्ट में यह भी कहा गया है कि FCNR (Bank) जमा और External Commercial Borrowings (ECB) के जरिए करीब 70 अरब डॉलर का पूंजी प्रवाह भारत में आ सकता है।

महंगाई और चालू खाते के घाटे पर नजर

एजेंसी का अनुमान है कि FY27 में खुदरा महंगाई औसतन 4.9% रह सकती है, जबकि FY26 में यह करीब 2% थी। इसी तरह चालू खाते का घाटा बढ़कर GDP का 1.5% हो सकता है, जो पिछले वित्त वर्ष में 0.6% था।

राजकोषीय घाटा हासिल करना आसान नहीं

Ind-Ra ने सरकार के FY27 के 4.3% राजकोषीय घाटे के लक्ष्य को चुनौतीपूर्ण बताया है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, LPG और उर्वरक सब्सिडी पर बढ़ता खर्च सरकार के लिए दबाव बना सकता है। हालांकि बेहतर डायरेक्ट टैक्स कलेक्शन और नॉन-टैक्स रेवेन्यू इस लक्ष्य को हासिल करने में कुछ राहत दे सकते हैं।

Patanjali Foods: ग्लोबल ब्रोकरेज Jefferies ने FMCG सेक्टर की कंपनी Patanjali Foods (PFL) पर ‘Buy’ रेटिंग बरकरार रखी है। ब्रोकरेज ने शेयर के लिए ₹560 का टारगेट प्राइस दिया है। यह ₹351 के मौजूदा स्तर से ₹560 करीब 60% तक की तेजी का संकेत है।

Patanjali Foods पर क्यों बुलिश है Jefferies?

Jefferies के मुताबिक, Patanjali Foods अगले 12 महीनों की अनुमानित कमाई के मुकाबले करीब 23 गुना वैल्यूएशन पर कारोबार कर रहा है। ब्रोकरेज का अनुमान है कि FY26 से FY29 के बीच कंपनी का PAT 23% CAGR से बढ़ सकता है। साथ ही ROCE में करीब 590 बेसिस पॉइंट का सुधार होकर यह 18% तक पहुंच सकता है।

इन्हीं अनुमानों के आधार पर Jefferies ने Sum-of-the-Parts (SOTP) वैल्यूएशन मॉडल से ₹560 का टारगेट तय किया है।

जून तिमाही में शानदार प्रदर्शन

Patanjali Foods ने FY27 की पहली तिमाही में मजबूत नतीजे पेश किए। कंपनी का रेवेन्यू 29% बढ़कर करीब ₹11,300 करोड़ पहुंच गया, जो Jefferies के अनुमान से करीब 20% ज्यादा रहा। वहीं EBITDA में 69% और PAT में 86% की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई।

एडिबल ऑयल बिजनेस बना सबसे बड़ा सहारा

एडिबल ऑयल सेगमेंट ने अब तक की सबसे मजबूत तिमाही दर्ज की। इस कारोबार का रेवेन्यू 27% बढ़कर ₹8,500 करोड़ पहुंच गया। खासकर सरसों तेल की बिक्री बेहतर रही। पश्चिम एशिया में तनाव और कमोडिटी महंगाई के कारण तेल की कीमतें बढ़ीं, जिसका फायदा कंपनी को मिला। इस सेगमेंट का EBIT सालाना आधार पर लगभग पांच गुना बढ़ गया।

कंपनी के प्लांटेशन बिजनेस में भी 25% की ग्रोथ रही। खेती वाला क्षेत्र बढ़कर 1.16 लाख हेक्टेयर हो गया है। मैनेजमेंट ने FY27 में एडिबल ऑयल बिजनेस में 3-5% वॉल्यूम ग्रोथ का लक्ष्य रखा है।

Foods & FMCG बिजनेस में क्या रहा?

पतंजलि फूड्स के Foods & FMCG सेगमेंट का रेवेन्यू भी 28% बढ़ा। बिस्किट कारोबार ने सबसे मजबूत तिमाही दर्ज करते हुए ₹560 करोड़ का रेवेन्यू हासिल किया और इसका मार्जिन बढ़कर 15.4% पहुंच गया।

हालांकि इस सेगमेंट की प्रॉफिटेबिलिटी पर दबाव बना रहा, क्योंकि कच्चे माल की लागत तेजी से बढ़ी और कंपनी पूरी बढ़ोतरी ग्राहकों तक नहीं पहुंचा सकी। Jefferies का मानना है कि आने वाली तिमाहियों में लागत का दबाव कम होने पर इस सेगमेंट की मार्जिन में सुधार देखने को मिल सकता है।

BMW will launch the facelifted 7 Series and i7 in India on September 11. The company had opened bookings for both flagship luxury sedans on August 1, shortly after their global debut earlier this year. The mid-life update brings exterior styling revisions, a heavily revised cabin with BMW’s latest Panoramic iDrive display, and updates to the petrol, diesel and electric powertrains.

BMW 7 Series, i7 facelifts: all we know so far

The facelifted 7 Series and i7 receive styling revisions while retaining the overall design of the outgoing models. Changes include a redesigned illuminated kidney grille, revised split LED headlamps and a new front bumper. Along the sides, BMW has introduced a new alloy wheel design while retaining the flush-fitting door handles. At the rear, both models get slimmer tail-lamps with smoked lenses and chrome detailing, along with a redesigned tailgate and bumper.

The biggest changes are inside the cabin. The facelift introduces BMW’s new Panoramic iDrive layout, replacing the conventional digital instrument cluster with a full-width projection display at the base of the windscreen. It works alongside a 17.9-inch central touchscreen and a 14.6-inch front passenger display. The infotainment system runs the latest BMW Operating System X, supports over-the-air updates, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and features improved voice controls. BMW has also redesigned the dashboard, introduced a new four-spoke steering wheel like in BMW’s Neue Klasse models and revised the ambient lighting.

Standard equipment includes electrically adjustable seats with heating, ventilation, massage and lumbar support. The front passenger seat can also slide fully forward to create additional legroom for the passenger seated behind. Rear-seat passengers benefit from an updated 31.3-inch 8K Theatre Screen and revised rear door-mounted control panels. BMW has also revised the automatic doors with better-positioned open and close buttons. Other highlights include a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system and additional ambient lighting elements throughout the cabin.

BMW 7 Series, i7 facelifts: Powertrain

BMW has not yet confirmed the India-spec variant lineup. However, the current 7 Series is sold here in 740i petrol and 740d diesel forms, while the i7 is available in eDrive50 and M70 xDrive guises. Internationally, all four receive mechanical updates.

The facelifted 740i xDrive continues with a 3.0-litre inline-six petrol mild-hybrid engine which now produces 400hp and 580Nm, up by 19hp and 60Nm. Meanwhile the 740d xDrive now develops 313hp and 670Nm, an increase of 27hp and 20Nm over the outgoing model. Both remain paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The entry-level i7 eDrive50 has been replaced by the i7 xDrive50, which now gets all-wheel drive. It also receives a larger 112.4kWh battery in place of the previous 101.7kWh unit. Output rises to 455hp and 660Nm. The i7 M70 xDrive also adopts the larger battery, with power increasing from 650hp to 680hp, while torque increases from 1,015Nm to up to 1,100Nm. It remains to be seen whether the range-topping i7 M70 xDrive is also launched in India.

Porsche revealed a one-off 911 Slantnose, also known as the Flachbau, at the 2026 Monterey Car Week. It’s mechanically based on a 991.2-generation 911 GT2 RS with the Weissach Package from 2018, while the design has been inspired by the 1978 Porsche 935 Le Mans race car called ‘Moby Dick’. The brand claims teams from Weissach and Manthey, alongside its own in-house design studio, motorsport division and the Sonderwunsch (‘special request’ in German) department, took three years to complete this project.

The silhouette of this Porsche 911 GT2 RS is understandably different due to its Slantnose conversion. The front fascia sports new, staggered LED headlamps that look sleek– the low-beam, high-beam and DRL elements are stacked above one another. These are integrated into the black U-shaped portion around the bonnet, which extends to right above the lowered front fenders. The latter has specially designed vents to prevent the build-up of air pressure in the wheel arches, claims Porsche.

The custom Manthey Kit brings along a redesigned front bumper with small canards on the sides, a new underbody structure, plus a different front splitter and rear diffuser. While the front alloy wheels are of a conventional design, the carbon-fibre aero discs used for the rear units help reduce drag, according to Porsche. The Slantnose gets a large rear wing with S-shaped mounts inspired by the 911 GT3 R rennsport, allowing three manually adjustable positions. At the car’s top speed, Porsche claims that this wing generates 554kg of downforce.

The one-off Slantnose is painted in the brand’s Grand Prix White colour, but gets contrasting black accents and a black finish on the bonnet and roof. Adding more contrast are the black brake callipers and exposed carbon-fibre trim. There are ‘Flachbau RS’ lettering and decals, too, while the Nordschleife is depicted on the rear wing. Since the shape of the front fenders had been altered, the fuel-filler flap and its underlying mechanism also has to be modified, says Porsche. “Our aim was to reinterpret the iconic look of the 935 without compromising on safety, technology or road legality”, Alexander Fabig, Vice President Product Offering & Individualisation at Porsche, said.

Opening the doors will reveal ‘Flachbau RS’ branding on the sills and seat headrests. There’s an outline of the Nordschleife drawn behind the front seats, along with a small gold-coloured plaque mentioning ‘Sonderwunsch’ and ‘Factory One-Off 2026 | Flachbau RS’ on the dashboard. Meanwhile, the interior continues to use the red Alcantara, black leather and exposed carbon-fibre trim originally available in the customer’s 911 GT2 RS.

Saving weight has been another important goal with this one-off Slantnose. To that effect, Porsche says it has removed the rear seats and individual wires, instead opting for simpler protective sheaths to cover newly laid wiring. Generous use of carbon fibre aside, the brand has removed the donor car’s infotainment system, replacing it with a leather-trimmed storage compartment.

Other features to have been deleted include the audio system, floor coverings in the cabin and luggage space, and sound-deadening materials throughout the car. The end result of all these weight-saving measures means that this Slantnose is 31.6kg lighter than the donor vehicle it’s based on.

Powering this one-off Slantnose is the same 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine found in the 991.2-generation 911 GT2 RS. This unit churns out 700hp and 750Nm of torque, and it drives the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The claimed top speed of this one-off 911 is 340kph.

Porsche says that it built three test vehicles for validating data, while aerodynamic calculations being carried out using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to further optimise the overall design. These prototypes were subjected to multiple wind-tunnel tests, real-world road tests, and 50 laps on the Nurburgring-Nordschleife.

Stocks to Watch: कच्चे तेल में उबाल और अधिकतर एशियाई बाजारों में बिकवाली के दबावों के बीच गिफ्ट निफ्टी से आज घरेलू मार्केट में लाल शुरुआत के संकेत मिल रहे हैं। गिफ्ट निफ्टी फिलहाल 74.50 प्वाइंट्स यानी 0.31% की गिरावट के साथ 24,300 पर है। चूंकि आज निफ्टी की वीकली एक्सपायरी है तो मार्केट में तेज उठा-पटक दिख सकती है। एक कारोबारी दिन पहले 17 अगस्त को सेंसेक्स (Sensex) 281.09 प्वाइंट्स यानी 0.36% की गिरावट के साथ 77,728.16 और निफ्टी 78.35 प्वाइंट्स यानी 0.32% की फिसलन के साथ 24,287.65 पर बंद हुआ था। अब आज इंडिविजुअल स्टॉक्स की बात करें तो अपनी खास कॉरपोरेट एक्टिविटीज के चलते कुछ स्टॉक्स में तेज हलचल दिख सकती है। यहां इन शेयरों के बारे में डिटेल्स दी जा रही है।

सीएनबीसी-टीवी18 की सूत्रों के हवाले से रिपोर्ट के अनुसार विजय शेखर शर्मा की पैरेंट और प्रमोटर कंपनी रेसिलिएंट एसेट मैनेजमेंट बीवी प्रति शेयर ₹1535 के फ्लोर प्राइस पर पेटीएम में 4.98% तक की हिस्सेदारी बेच सकती है।

SPR Auto Technologies

एसपीआर ऑटो टेक्नोलॉजीज ने 17 अगस्त को अपना QIP इश्यू लॉन्च किया, जिसका फ्लोर प्राइस प्रति शेयर ₹4,438.20 तय किया गया है। सूत्रों के हवाले से CNBC-TV18 की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक कंपनी इसके जरिए लगभग ₹1,000 करोड़ जुटा सकती है।

नेटवेब टेक्नोलॉजीज इंडिया का क्यूआईपी इश्यू 17 अगस्त को प्रति शेयर ₹4,885.90 के फ्लोर प्राइस पर खुला। सूत्रों के हवाले से CNBC-TV18 की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक इसके जरिए कंपनी लगभग ₹1,200 करोड़ जुटा सकती है।

ज्योति सीएनसी ऑटोमेशन को राजकोट में मौजूद अपनी मैन्युफैक्चरिंग यूनिट में अगले पांच वर्षों में ₹1,020.65 करोड़ के निवेश के प्रस्ताव को इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (MeitY) की इलेक्ट्रॉनिक कंपोनेंट्स मैन्युफैक्चरिंग स्कीम के तहत मंज़ूरी मिल गई है। इस स्कीम के तहत कंपनी निवेश पर 25% तक के कैपेक्स इंसेंटिव के लिए एलिजिबल होगी।

मणिपाल हेल्थ एंटरप्राइजेज ने बेंगलुरु के डोड्डानेकुंडी इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया में स्थित किंडर हॉस्पिटल के पूरे बिजनेस ऑपरेशन और एसेट्स को ₹130 करोड़ में खरीदने के लिए किंडोरामा हेल्थकेयर के साथ एक बिजनेस ट्रांसफर एग्रीमेंट साइन किया है।

हाईवे इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को तमिलनाडु में ‘पालयम फी प्लाजा’ के ऑपरेशंस के लिए ₹80.17 करोड़ का LoA (लेटर ऑफ एक्सेप्टेंस) मिला है। यह LOA (लेटर ऑफ अवार्ड) NHAI ने जारी किया था।

अमेरिका की प्राइवेट इन्वेस्टमेंट फर्म बेन कैपिटल ने अपनी सहयोगी कंपनी APAC Company XXIII के जरिए एम्बेसी ऑफिस पार्क्स REIT के 2.67 करोड़ यूनिट्स ₹435.05 के भाव और 2.67 करोड़ यूनिट्स ₹435.01 के भाव पर बेच दिए। इसने कुल मिलाकर 5.63% होल्डिंग ₹2,325.28 करोड़ में बेचे हैं।

क्युपिड के प्रमोटर आदित्य कुमार हलवासिया ने बाजार स्टाइल रिटेल के प्रमोटर्स- भगवान प्रसाद, सिद्धार्थ सुराना और श्रेयांस सुराना से 45 लाख शेयर (5.91% हिस्सेदारी) ₹162.9 करोड़ में प्रति शेयर ₹362 के भाव पर खरीदे।

LEAP India

सिंगापुर सरकार ने लीप इंडिया के 22.15 लाख शेयर (0.5% हिस्सेदारी) ₹34.39 करोड़ में प्रति शेयर ₹155.28 के भाव पर खरीद लिए।

RPP Infra Projects

दिवा प्रोजेक्ट्स ने आरपीपी इंफ्रा प्रोजेक्ट्स के अतिरिक्त 8.51 लाख शेयर (1.7% हिस्सेदारी) ₹4.99 करोड़ में प्रति शेयर ₹58.67 के भाव पर खरीदे। वहीं प्रमोटर यगावी एन ए ने 8.95 लाख शेयर (1.8% हिस्सेदारी) ₹5.25 करोड़ में ₹58.68 के भाव पर बेच दी।

प्रमोटर शेषशायी पेपर एंड बोर्ड्स ने पोन्नी शुगर्स (इरोड) के 2.9 लाख शेयर (3.37% हिस्सेदारी) ₹10.15 करोड़ में प्रति शेयर ₹350 के भाव पर खरीदे। वहीं इन्वेस्टर अत्यंत कैपिटल इंडिया फंड I ने 3.13 लाख शेयर (3.6% हिस्सेदारी) ₹10.96 करोड़ में प्रति शेयर ₹349.85 के भाव पर बेचे। जून 2026 तक अत्यंत कैपिटल इंडिया फंड की कंपनी में 9.46% हिस्सेदारी थी।

मिनर्वा वेंचर्स फंड ने नागपुर की रियल एस्टेट डेवलपमेंट और कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी केसर इंडिया इंडिया के 11.78 लाख शेयर (3.76% होल्डिंग) फोर्ब्स ईएमएफ से ₹149.01 करोड़ में प्रकि शेयर ₹1,265 के भाव पर खरीदे। जून 2026 तक केसर इंडिया में मिनर्वा वेंचर्स फंड की 3.51% और फोर्ब्स ईएमएफ की 4.25% हिस्सेदारी थी।

एसेट्स केयर एंड रीकंस्ट्रक्शन एंटरप्राइज ने वीजा क्रोम के 78.93 लाख शेयर ₹30 करोड़ में बेचे। वहीं महा इंवेस्टमेंट फंड पीसीसी-ओनिक्स स्ट्रैटेजी ने 78.94 लाख शेयर ₹30 करोड़ में यानी प्रति शेयर ₹38 के भाव पर खरीदे।

Milky Mist Dairy Food

आईपीओ को 59 गुना बोली मिलने के बाद मिल्की मिस्ट डेयरी फूड के शेयर आज बीएसई और एनएसई पर लिस्ट होंगे। इसके शेयर ₹140 के भाव में जारी हुए हैं।

आईपीओ को 2.40 गुना बोली मिलने के बाद शैम फोम के शेयर ₹130 के भाव पर जारी हुए और अब इसकी बीएसई एसएमई पर एंट्री होगी।

Trade setup for today : 17 अगस्त को निफ्टी में लगातार पांचवें ट्रेडिंग सेशन में भी गिरावट का सिलसिला जारी रहा और यह 0.32 फीसदी गिरकर बंद हुआ। हालांकि,ट्रेडिंग सेशन के दूसरे हिस्से में इसने कुछ रिकवरी की। निफ्टी के शॉर्ट-टर्म मूविंग एवरेज से नीचे ट्रेड करने और बेयरिश मोमेंटम के धीरे-धीरे मजबूत होने के कारण,ऐसा लगता है कि शॉर्ट टर्म में कंसोलिडेशन के बीच बाजार में कमजोरी बनी रहेगी। मार्केट एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि निफ्टी के लिए तत्काल सपोर्ट 24,200 पर है। इस लेवल के नीचे जाने पर निफ्टी में भारी बिकवाली का दबाव बन सकता है और इंडेक्स 24,000 के लेवल की ओर फिसल सकता है। ऊपर की तरफ इसके लिए 24,400-24,500 के जोन में तत्काल रेजिस्टेंस दिख रहा है।

The Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler will join the pickup truck segment upon its launch sometime before April 2027. Based on the Scorpio N SUV’s ladder-frame platform, Mahindra’s new pickup truck will simply carry the ‘Lifestyler’ moniker in markets abroad. While the automaker is yet fully disclose most of this car’s details, it has confirmed a starting price of under Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom). So, if you’re awaiting the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler, here are some important points to keep in mind.

1. Does the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler’s design reflect its name?

An upright and boxy silhouette, a squared-off front fascia, rugged-looking body cladding, deep wheel wells and of course, a sizeable bed – the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler has all basic ‘pickup truck’ design aspects covered. Backing its ‘lifestyler’ suffix visually are three avatars as shown during the model’s reveal. There’s the Valley Edition that’s finished in Artemis Grey, Reef Edition with an Aquareef colour, and a Trail Edition that sports the so-called Sahara Beige colour scheme. Each of these get their own unique exterior decals and badging.

While there are some visual cues that this is the Scorpio N’s platform sibling (such as the ‘Scorpio’ badging at the top of the front grille), the Lifestyler pickup has several design cues that are unique to it. One of these is the prominent Double Cab body and a short bed at the back, which appears to be shorter than the one found on the Hilux. The headlamps are sleeker and more intricately styled units with a different LED DRL pattern. Depending on the avatar chosen, the chunky front bumper of the Scorpio Lifestyler can be had with an integrated bullbar, whilst vertically aligned fog lamps are available too.

The top portion of the boxy-looking grille is finished in black and gets orange reflector elements, which match the orange tow hooks placed either side of a bash plate. The lower portion of the grille features large squares arranged in a mesh pattern. This design is mirrored on the rear bumper, which also features static reflectors on the sides and an integrated footstep that’s lit for better visibility in the dark. There are large C-shaped DRLs, LED tail-lamps, plus ‘Mahindra’ and ‘Lifestyler’ branding on the tailgate. The Scorpio Lifestyler also gets roof rails and side steps, and a kinked rear windowline.

2. How is the interior of the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler?

The squircle steering of the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler looks busy with its assortment of physical buttons and scroll wheels. Placed behind this on the dashboard is a fully digital instrument cluster with a multi-information section in the centre. In the middle of the dash is a large portrait-oriented touchscreen, flanked by vertically arranged central air-con vents. Placed below this screen are some physical switchgear, with the centre pedestal home to a few more important controls and cupholders.

The upright design of the dashboard with its flat top, along with the large door handles and pillar-integrated grab handles, add to the rugged appeal of this interior. The Reef Edition gets a blue & black dual-tone interior with white stitching, while the Valley Edition features a brown & black theme with brown and white stitching. As for the Trail Edition, its cabin sports contrasting yellow stitching. The interior of the Scorpio Lifestyler also includes leatherette and satin silver trim, plus some chrome detailing.

Powering the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler are likely to be a choice of two engine options: a mHawk 2.2-litre diesel and an mStallion 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, which are the same units found under the bonnet of the Scorpio N SUV. The exact output of these powerplants will be revealed closer to the launch of this pickup. Meanwhile, transmission choices could include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic. With a starting price of under Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler will find itself positioned closer to the Isuzu D-Max rather the more expensive Toyota Hilux.

Aston Martin has revealed the Valen as its most powerful front-engined production car at the 2026 Monterey Car Week. An 850hp, 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, derived from the Vanquish, powers this GT car. Only 150 units of the Valen are being built by the manufacturer’s ‘Q’ personalisation department, with deliveries commencing in the second quarter of 2027.

Aston Martin Valen powertrain details

Produces 15hp more than the Vanquish and is 0.2s faster in a 0-100kph sprint

The Aston Martin Valen is powered by the same 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine as the Vanquish GT, but with more performance. It produces 850hp (15hp more) and 1,000Nm (same as the Vanquish) and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels (RWD). The gearbox software has, however, been remapped with the Vantage GT4 racecar’s software for “more engaging shifts in all drive modes”. With the Valen, Aston Martin claims a 0-100kph time of 3.1 seconds (0.2s faster than the Vanquish) and an electronically limited top speed of 345kph.

The Valen is 110kg lighter than the Vanquish due to the use of lightweight motorsport-inspired materials, including carbon fibre, aluminium, titanium and magnesium. Aston Martin has also made “significant hardware changes and targeted software calibration” to the ESP, throttle, braking and steering systems. The suspension system uses stiffer springs for reduced roll and pitch motions to driver inputs for increased agility.

Looks sportier and brutish than the other Aston Martin models

The Valen looks sportier than the gentlemanly designs Aston Martin is generally known for and, as per chief creative officer Marek Reichman, “the Valen is a significant departure from what has gone before”. At the front, the Valen sports a new snout with an aggressive bonnet featuring a functional top vent to draw more air to the engine. The signature Aston Martin grille motif extends to the ends of the fascia. The LED DRLs and LED headlights are slim horizontal bars that make the Valen look menacing. It also gets an “acutely angled” front splitter to channel the air into the GT’s internals. 

In profile, it sports lightweight magnesium wheels shod with Pirelli P Zero R tyres (275/35 ZR21 front, 325/30 ZR21 rear), specifically developed for the Valen. The GT also gets Pirelli’s latest Cyber Tyre technology, allowing real-time tyre data sharing with the vehicle’s dynamic control systems. The traditional side strakes incorporate large functional vents that extract air from the wheel arch, guiding it towards the rear for improved downforce.

The rear design is bold as well, replacing a traditional fixed rear windscreen with a solid tailgate that opens to reveal 170 litres of boot space. The tailgate features an aerodynamic wing that acts as a Gurney flap that “generates downforce with minimal drag and negates the need for a conventional rear wing”. Beneath this wing is a slim LED taillight bar and 3D-printed quad titanium exhausts stacked in a 2-up, 2-down arrangement. The upper exhaust outlets are always open, while the lower ones open in the raciest drive modes.

The Valen is available with an optional fully exposed carbon fibre exterior that can be tinted in both satin- and gloss-finished hues by the ‘Q’ customisation department.

Features a minimalistic dashboard and a well-loaded cabin

The Valen’s interior is heavily influenced by the Vanquish and hence offers a minimalistic dashboard with a 10.25-inch-inch digital driver’s display, a 3-spoke steering wheel and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. What’s different from the Vanquish is that the centre console has been 3D-printed for “greater precision to the surfaces you regularly interact with”. This console has a carbon fibre finish and features a push-button start-stop and an aircraft-style drive mode selector.

The Aston Martin Valen offers an option between ‘Sport Plus’ seats that “combine support with long-distance comfort” or carbon-fibre ‘Performance’ seats that offer “a more focused driving experience”. Features include a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system, a 360-degree camera system, a digital inside rearview mirror (IRVM), a powered steering column and a wireless phone charger. 

Reichman says, “Valen gave us the opportunity to explore and express more extreme emotions through a new form language and surface treatment.” Reflecting this bold design approach, Aston Martin has priced the Valen at 1.5 million pound (approximately Rs 19.46 crore), before buyers choose from the extensive catalogue of optional extras.
