Lumino Industries IPO: कोलकाता की कंडक्टर, पावर केबल और इलेक्ट्रिकल वायर बनाने वाली कंपनी Lumino Industries का IPO 27 अगस्त को खुलेगा। कंपनी इस इश्यू से करीब ₹700 करोड़ जुटाने की तैयारी में है। IPO का प्राइस बैंड ₹78 से ₹82 प्रति शेयर तय किया गया है।

इसमें ₹500 करोड़ का फ्रेश इश्यू होगा। वहीं करीब 2.44 करोड़ शेयरों का OFS होगा। IPO 31 अगस्त को बंद होगा।

Lumino Industries IPO का GMP

ग्रे मार्केट में Lumino Industries के IPO को शानदार रिस्पॉन्स मिल रहा है। इनवेस्टरगेन के मुताबिक, Lumino Industries का लेटेस्ट GMP ₹48 है।

यह अपर प्राइस बैंड से 58.54% के लिस्टिंग गेन का संकेत देता है। हालांकि, GMP लिस्टिंग गेन की गारंटी नहीं होता और लगातार बदलता भी रहता है।

प्रमोटर बेचेंगे ₹200 करोड़ के शेयर

IPO में ₹500 करोड़ का फ्रेश इश्यू होगा। इसके अलावा प्रमोटर देवेंद्र गोयल और उनके बेटे जय गोयल ₹200 करोड़ तक के शेयर OFS के जरिए बेचेंगे।

कंपनी ने पहले ₹1,000 करोड़ का IPO लाने की योजना बनाई थी। तब ₹600 करोड़ का फ्रेश इश्यू और ₹400 करोड़ का OFS प्रस्तावित था। बाद में इश्यू का आकार घटाकर करीब ₹700 करोड़ कर दिया गया।

IPO से मिलने वाले पैसे का इस्तेमाल

Lumino Industries फ्रेश इश्यू से मिलने वाली रकम का बड़ा हिस्सा कर्ज चुकाने में लगाएगी। कंपनी करीब ₹337 करोड़ का इस्तेमाल कर्ज के भुगतान के लिए करेगी।

जुलाई 2026 तक कंपनी पर कुल ₹1,856.7 करोड़ का कर्ज था। इसके अलावा ₹15 करोड़ मशीनरी और उपकरण खरीदने, सिविल वर्क और मौजूदा मैन्युफैक्चरिंग प्लांट के विकास पर खर्च किए जाएंगे।

कंपनी का कारोबार क्या है?

Lumino Industries कंडक्टर, पावर केबल और दूसरे स्पेशलाइज्ड इलेक्ट्रिकल प्रोडक्ट बनाती है। कंपनी के ग्राहक बड़े EPC प्लेयर हैं।

इनमें Kalpataru Projects International, Jackson और R S Infraprojects जैसे नाम शामिल हैं। कंपनी अमेरिका, माली, बुर्किना फासो, नेपाल, बांग्लादेश, केन्या, घाना, रवांडा और इथियोपिया जैसे देशों में भी अपने प्रोडक्ट बेचती है।

कारोबार का हाल कैसा है?

वित्त वर्ष 2025-26 में Lumino Industries का मुनाफा ₹160 करोड़ रहा। एक साल पहले यह ₹124.6 करोड़ था। यानी मुनाफे में 28.4% की बढ़ोतरी हुई। इस दौरान कंपनी का रेवेन्यू भी बढ़ा।

FY26 में रेवेन्यू ₹2,041 करोड़ रहा, जो FY25 में ₹1,918 करोड़ था। यानी इसमें 6.4% की बढ़ोतरी हुई। FY26 में कंपनी की कुल बिक्री में घरेलू कारोबार की हिस्सेदारी 98% रही। वहीं वित्त वर्ष के अंत में कंपनी की ऑर्डर बुक ₹3,149.8 करोड़ थी।

India Weather Alert: देश के अलग-अलग राज्यों में इस वक्त मानसूनी बारिश पूरी रफ्तार से हो रही है। कम दबाव के क्षेत्र और दूसरे वेदर सिस्टम एक्टिव होने की वजह से हैवी बारिश का ये सिलसिला 25 अगस्त को भी जारी रहने वाला है। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने 25 अगस्त को मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ के अलग-अलग इलाकों में मूसलाधार यानी भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश की ऑरेंज कलर वॉर्निंग जारी की है। इसके अलावा उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, झारखंड सहित देश के कई और राज्यों में भी तेज हवाओं और बिजली की कड़क के साथ भारी बारिश होने का पूर्वानुमान दिया गया है।

मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ में ‘भारी से बहुत भारी’ बारिश का अलर्ट

मौसम विभाग के बुलेटिन के मुताबिक 25 अगस्त को मध्य भारत में बारिश का सबसे ज्यादा असर देखने को मिलेगा। मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ में कुछ जगहों पर बहुत भारी बारिश होने की प्रबल संभावना है। इसके अलावा महाराष्ट्र के मध्य महाराष्ट्र और विदर्भ क्षेत्रों में भी भारी बारिश दर्ज की जा सकती है। इन राज्यों के निचले इलाकों में पानी भर सकता है और नदी-नालों के जलस्तर में बढ़ोतरी को लेकर सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी गई है।

उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार और झारखंड समेत उत्तर-पूर्वी भारत का हाल

उत्तर भारत और पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों में भी मानसून की तेजी बनी रहेगी। 25 अगस्त को उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, झारखंड, सुदूर उप-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम में अलग-अलग जगहों पर भारी बारिश होने का पूर्वानुमान है। वहीं पूर्वोत्तर के राज्यों अरुणाचल प्रदेश, असम, मेघालय, नागालैंड, मणिपुर, मिजोरम और त्रिपुरा में भी भारी बारिश की गतिविधियां जारी रहेंगी। दक्षिण भारत की बात करें तो तटीय कर्नाटक, दक्षिण आंतरिक कर्नाटक, केरल व माहे और तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी व कराइकल में भी भारी बारिश की संभावना जताई गई है।

50 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से चलेंगी तूफानी हवाएं

बारिश के साथ-साथ कई राज्यों में आंधी-तूफान और तेज हवाओं की चेतावनी दी गई है। अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह, आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, केरल और माहे, लक्षद्वीप और तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी और कराइकल के इलाकों में बिजली चमकने के साथ 40 से 50 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज हवाएं चलने का अनुमान है। इनकी स्पीड बढ़कर 60 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे तक पहुंच सकती है। इसके साथ ही बिहार, पूर्वी राजस्थान, झारखंड, ओडिशा और पश्चिम बंगाल व सिक्किम के कुछ हिस्सों में 30 से 40 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चलने और आकाशीय बिजली गिरने का अलर्ट है।

उत्तराखंड, तेलंगाना, मराठवाड़ा, मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ के अलग-अलग इलाकों में भी बादल गरजने और बिजली कड़कने की संभावना बनी रहेगी।

तटीय इलाकों में तेज हवाओं का अलर्ट और समुद्र में स्थिति

मौसम विभाग ने तटीय और समुद्री क्षेत्रों के लिए भी चेतावनी जारी की है। आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, केरल, माहे और लक्षद्वीप के तटीय इलाकों में तेज सतही हवाएं चलने का अनुमान है। अरब सागर में सोमालिया और ओमान के तटों के पास और मध्य-पश्चिम और दक्षिण-पश्चिम अरब सागर के कुछ हिस्सों में 45 से 55 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तूफानी हवाएं चल सकती हैं। इनकी स्पीड 65 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा तक पहुंच सकती है।

इसके अलावा कर्नाटक और केरल के तटों तथा लक्षद्वीप के आसपास के समुद्री क्षेत्रों में 40 से 50 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की गति से खराब मौसम बना रहेगा। मौसम विभाग ने मछुआरों और तटीय क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले लोगों को सतर्कता बरतने की सलाह दी है।

Tata Group Stock: टाटा ग्रुप की FMCG कंपनी Tata Consumer Products के शेयर को लेकर ब्रोकरेज हाउस Motilal Oswal काफी पॉजिटिव है। ब्रोकरेज ने शेयर पर Buy रेटिंग दी है। साथ ही इसका टारगेट प्राइस ₹1,500 रखा है। अभी शेयर करीब ₹1,057.90 पर है। यानी मौजूदा भाव से शेयर में करीब 42% की तेजी की गुंजाइश है।

₹1,500 तक क्यों जा सकता है शेयर?

टाटा कंज्यूमर अब सिर्फ चाय और नमक की कंपनी नहीं रही। कंपनी लगातार नए कारोबार में उतर रही है। Tata Sampann, Tata Soulfull, Organic India और Capital Foods जैसे ब्रांड तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं। इससे कंपनी का ग्रोथ पोर्टफोलियो मजबूत हो रहा है।

कंपनी नए प्रोडक्ट भी तेजी से लॉन्च कर रही है। FY25 में 41 नए प्रोडक्ट आए थे। FY26 में यह संख्या बढ़कर 80 हो गई। इनमें 55% प्रोडक्ट हेल्थ और वेलनेस से जुड़े थे। यानी कंपनी अब इस सेगमेंट पर खास जोर दे रही है।

ऑनलाइन बिक्री बनी बड़ा सहारा

Tata Consumer के लिए ई-कॉमर्स और क्विक कॉमर्स भी तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं। FY22 में भारत के कारोबार में इन चैनलों की हिस्सेदारी 19% थी। FY26 में यह बढ़कर 41% हो गई। ई-कॉमर्स और क्विक कॉमर्स से मिलकर कंपनी को 19% रेवेन्यू मिल रहा है।

कंपनी की पहुंच भी बढ़ी है। FY26 में कंपनी 45 लाख आउटलेट तक पहुंच चुकी थी। इसका फायदा नए प्रोडक्ट को तेजी से बाजार में उतारने में मिल सकता है।

कमाई बढ़ने का अनुमान

Motilal Oswal को उम्मीद है कि FY26 से FY28 के बीच कंपनी का रेवेन्यू करीब 10% CAGR से बढ़ेगा। EBITDA में 16% और मुनाफे में 21% CAGR का अनुमान है। इसी उम्मीद के आधार पर ब्रोकरेज ने ₹1,500 का टारगेट दिया है।

टाटा कंज्यूमर के इंटरनेशनल कारोबार पर कॉफी की महंगी कीमतों का असर पड़ा था। अब इसमें राहत मिल रही है। FY27 की पहली तिमाही में Arabica की कीमत 6% और Robusta की कीमत 9% तिमाही आधार पर घटी। इससे खासकर अमेरिकी कारोबार के मार्जिन में सुधार की उम्मीद है।

टाटा कंज्यूमर के शेयर

टाटा कंज्यूमर का शेयर सोमवार को 0.85% की बढ़त के साथ 1,057.90 रुपये पर बंद हुए। पिछले 6 महीने में यह 10.20% टूटा है। वहीं, 1 साल में 2.19% गिरा है। कंपनी का मार्केट कैप 1.05 लाख करोड़ रुपये है।

Delhi Rains: दिल्ली-NCR में सोमवार (24 अगस्त) को हुई मूसलाधार बारिश का असर सड़क ट्रैफिक के साथ-साथ हवाई सेवाओं पर भी पड़ा। दिल्ली के इंदिरा गांधी इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट (IGIA) पर 250 से ज्यादा उड़ानें देरी से चल रही हैं। जबकि मौसम खराब होने के कारण 15 उड़ानों को दूसरे शहरों की ओर डायवर्ट करना पड़ा। डायवर्ट की गई उड़ानों में तीन इंटरनेशनल फ्लाइट भी शामिल हैं। इनमें से 12 उड़ानों को जयपुर, 2 को चंडीगढ़ और 1 उड़ान को लखनऊ भेजा गया। हालांकि, मौसम में सुधार के साथ दिन आगे बढ़ने पर उड़ान संचालन के सामान्य होने की उम्मीद जताई गई है।

भारी बारिश से दिल्ली में जलभराव और ट्रैफिक जाम

दिल्ली में सोमवार को हुई तेज बारिश के कारण कई इलाकों में जलभराव की स्थिति पैदा हो गई। सड़कों पर पानी भरने से कई जगहों पर यातायात की रफ्तार धीमी रही और लंबे ट्रैफिक जाम की स्थिति देखने को मिली। इसी बीच भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने दिल्ली के कई जिलों में भारी बारिश को लेकर रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। जबकि कुछ अन्य इलाकों के लिए मध्यम बारिश का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया।

एयरलाइंस ने यात्रियों को किया अलर्ट

मौसम की स्थिति को देखते हुए कई एयरलाइंस ने यात्रियों को अपनी उड़ान का स्टेटस चेक करने की सलाह दी है। एयरलाइंस ने यह भी चेतावनी दी कि खराब मौसम का असर कनेक्टिंग फ्लाइट्स पर भी पड़ सकता है। एयर इंडिया (Air India) ने यात्रियों को बताया कि दिल्ली से आने-जाने वाली उड़ानों का संचालन प्रतिकूल मौसम से प्रभावित हो सकता है। इंडिगो (IndiGo) ने कहा कि दिल्ली के ऊपर खराब मौसम के कारण उड़ानों के शेड्यूल पर असर पड़ा है। एयरलाइन ने यात्रियों से धैर्य रखने और उड़ान की स्थिति पर नजर बनाए रखने की अपील की।

स्पाइसजेट (SpiceJet) ने भी यात्रियों को आगाह करते हुए कहा कि दिल्ली में खराब मौसम के कारण सभी आने-जाने वाली उड़ानें और उनसे जुड़ी कनेक्टिंग उड़ानें प्रभावित हो सकती हैं। यात्रियों से एयरपोर्ट जाने से पहले अपनी फ्लाइट का स्टेटस जांचने को कहा गया। वहीं, अकासा एयर (Akasa Air) ने कहा कि दिल्ली में गंभीर मौसम की स्थिति के कारण उसके नेटवर्क की कुछ उड़ानें प्रभावित हुई हैं और यात्रियों को हुई असुविधा के लिए उसने खेद जताया।

यात्रियों के लिए जरूरी सलाह

मौसम खराब होने की स्थिति में यात्रियों को एयरपोर्ट निकलने से पहले अपनी फ्लाइट का ताजा स्टेटस जरूर चेक करने, अतिरिक्त यात्रा समय लेकर चलने और कनेक्टिंग फ्लाइट वाले यात्रियों को एयरलाइन के अपडेट पर नजर रखने की सलाह दी गई है।

दक्षिण-पूर्वी दिल्ली, पूर्वी दिल्ली, शाहदरा, मध्य दिल्ली, उत्तर-पूर्वी दिल्ली, दक्षिणी दिल्ली, नई दिल्ली, दक्षिण-पश्चिमी दिल्ली, पश्चिमी दिल्ली, उत्तर-पश्चिमी दिल्ली और उत्तरी दिल्ली के कुछ स्थानों पर बादलों की गरज और बिजली की चमक के साथ भारी बारिश हुई। यात्रियों ने सोशल मीडिया पर शहर के कुछ हिस्सों में ट्रैफिक जाम और जलभराव की शिकायत की।

‘रेड’ और ‘ऑरेंज’ अलर्ट जारी

दिल्ली में भारी बारिश के बाद मौसम विभाग ने रेड और ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी करते हुए अगले कुछ घंटों में बादलों की गरज और बिजली की चमक के साथ तेज से मध्यम बारिश और 40 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे तक की रफ्तार से हवाएं चलने का पूर्वानुमान जताया है। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (आईएमडी) के अनुसार, सुबह 8:30 बजे से 11:30 बजे के बीच दिल्ली में सबसे अधिक 28 मिलीमीटर (मिमी) बारिश छतरपुर में दर्ज की गई। इसके बाद लोधी रोड में 24.6 मिमी और पीतमपुरा में 18.5 मिमी बारिश हुई।

इस दौरान रिज में पांच मिमी, मयूर विहार में 1.5 मिमी, सफदरजंग में एक मिमी और आयानगर में 0.1 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई। कई इलाकों में बारिश के साथ तेज हवाएं भी चलीं। न्यू अशोक नगर मेट्रो स्टेशन, बुराड़ी, सीआर पार्क और अलकनंदा के आसपास जलभराव की सूचना मिली। यात्रियों ने भी सोशल मीडिया पर ट्रैफिक जाम और जलभराव वाले मार्गों की जानकारी शेयर की।

दिल्ली में सोमवार को शहर के प्रमुख मौसम केंद्र सफदरजंग में न्यूनतम तापमान 27.8 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया, जो इस मौसम के सामान्य तापमान से 1.4 डिग्री अधिक है। रिज में सबसे कम न्यूनतम तापमान 24 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया। आईएमडी के अनुसार, अधिकतम तापमान 34 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आसपास रहने की संभावना है।

Skoda will be bringing the fourth-generation Superb to India in 2027 in its top-spec Laurin & Klement (L&K) trim, no less. However, this time around, the premium sedan will be offered in diesel guise – a first for the brand since it discontinued diesel models in India when BS6 emission norms took effect in 2020. Without further ado, here’s all you need to know about the upcoming 2027 Skoda Superb diesel.

1. How much will the 2027 Skoda Superb diesel cost?

Skoda will bring the 2027 Superb diesel to India in limited numbers via the CBU (completely built units) route, with the expected starting price to be around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). This means that the fully imported fourth-gen Superb diesel could be priced along the same lines as the Toyota Camry, which also has the price benefit of being a CKD (completely knocked down) model.

2. When will deliveries of the 2027 Skoda Superb diesel start in India

The reason why Skoda is yet to finalise on the price of the India-spec Superb diesel has to do with the upcoming India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which is set to come into effect by early 2027. While the FTA’s lower import duties will benefit fully imported modes like the Skoda Superb, the brand is awaiting further clarity before announcing its price. We know that the premium sedan will reach our shores in Q1 or Q2 of 2027 and will only be available in limited numbers.

3. What engine and gearbox will the 2027 Skoda Superb diesel get?

Under the bonnet of the 2027 Skoda Superb sits a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel (TDI) engine rated at 150hp and 360Nm of torque. This transverse-mounted engine comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and drives the front wheels. Drive modes aside, the 2027 Skoda Superb for India will get the brand’s Progressive Dynamic Steering and Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) systems. Skoda says that these automatically adjust the car’s ride and handling balance depending on the drive mode, road conditions and vehicle speed.

4. What are the exterior highlights of the 2027 Skoda Superb diesel?

The top-spec L&K trim of the Skoda Superb diesel comes with Matrix LED headlamps with ‘Skoda Crystal Lighting’ branding, a large black grille with shiny surrounds, full-LED tail lamps with sequential turn indicators, 18-inch alloy wheels with turbine-like detailing, ‘Laurin & Klement’ badging on the front fenders, chrome garnish for the windowline, and a simplistic bootlid with large ‘SKODA’ lettering.

Opening the power-operated bootlid reveals the Superb’s familiar liftback design and a 645-litre luggage space. There are storage cubbies here too, along with bag hooks, an extendable cargo cover, a space-saver spare wheel, flip-down rear seat releases and through-loading for carrying longer items. Overall, the 2027 Skoda Superb looks elegant and premium, while its liftback design offers more practicality than a typical three-box sedan.

The 2027 Skoda Superb, like its predecessors, is aimed at buyers who prefer to be seated at the back. There’s plenty of space for rear-seat occupants – no shortage of legroom or kneeroom – even taller folks shouldn’t have trouble stretching out. The interior is upholstered in what Skoda calls “Cognac leather”, which looks premium.

The quality and tactility of the physical dials up front feel good, too. These dials integrate multiple functions and users can cycle through the climate control and seat ventilation & heating settings easily. There’s a covered storage tray beneath these dials and another even deeper storage cubby under the front-centre armrest. The front seats look nice and are multi-way powered and have a memory feature, of course.

As noted above, both the Sonet and Taisor come with 1.0-litre 3-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol engines. However, the Sonet is considerably more powerful than the Taisor. The Sonet also pairs its engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the Taisor comes with a 6-speed torque converter. A DCT is usually favoured for performance on account of its quick shifts, whereas torque converters swap cogs slightly slower but smoother thanks to their fluid coupling. That said, the Taisor is lighter than the Sonet.

Despite the Sonet’s power advantage and quicker-shifting DCT, the Taisor is quicker from standstill to 100kph. Specifically, the Toyota SUV completed the sprint nearly a full second before the Sonet did. Evidently, the Taisor’s lower kerb weight looks to have offset its power deficit compared to the Sonet.

In the 20-80kph kickdown test, the Sonet is off to a stronger start than the Taisor. After the 40kph mark, however, the Taisor pulls ahead and keeps expanding its lead, which stands at almost a full second by the end of the run.

Unlike the 20-80kph test, the Sonet was slower than the Taisor at every speed in the 40-100kph kickdown sprint. By the end, the Taisor was ahead of the small Kia by 1.4 seconds – the largest gap recorded in all three of our tests for these compact SUVs. Per our testing, then, the Toyota Taisor is clearly faster than the Kia Sonet across the board.

Prices for the Sonet turbo-petrol DCT start at Rs 10 lakh and top off at Rs 13.8 lakh, whereas the Taisor turbo-petrol AT is priced from Rs 11.86 lakh to Rs 12.78 lakh.

Nippon India Mutual Fund: शेयर बाजार में जारी उतार-चढ़ाव के बीच दिग्गज म्यूचुअल फंड हाउस निप्पॉन इंडिया ने भारतीय बाजारों को लेकर एक बेहद पॉजिटिव रिपोर्ट दी है। निप्पॉन इंडिया MF के चीफ इन्वेस्टमेंट ऑफिसर शैलेश राज भान का मानना है कि आने वाले कुछ सालों में बेहतर कॉरपोरेट अर्निंग्स और वाजिब वैल्यूएशन बाजार की चाल को रफ्तार देंगे।

शैलेश राज भान के मुताबिक, अगर कोई बड़ा वैश्विक संकट नहीं आता है, तो अगले 3 सालों में भारतीय कंपनियों की कमाई सालाना 12 से 15 फीसदी की दर से बढ़ सकती है। आइए जानते हैं उन्होंने किन सेक्टर्स पर दांव लगाने की सलाह दी है और कहां कमाई का मौका दिख रहा है।

विदेशी निवेशकों की बिकवाली से बड़े शेयरों में बना मौका

शैलेश राज भान ने बताया कि पिछले कुछ समय में फॉरेन इंस्टीट्यूशनल इन्वेस्टर्स(FIIs) की ओर से हुई भारी बिकवाली ने लार्जकैप शेयरों के वैल्यूएशन को काफी आकर्षक बना दिया है। FIIs की बिकवाली मुख्य रूप से लार्जकैप और फाइनेंशियल स्टॉक्स में केंद्रित थी। इसके चलते कई मजबूत और क्वालिटी कंपनियों के शेयर अब वाजिब और सही दामों पर उपलब्ध हैं।

जब वैल्यूएशन आपके पक्ष में हो और कंपनियों की कमाई बढ़ रही हो, तो अगले 3 से 4 सालों में बेहतर रिटर्न मिलने की संभावना काफी बढ़ जाती है।

प्राइवेट बैंक बने हुए है सबसे पसंदीदा सेक्टर

शैलेश राज भान ने दिग्गज निजी क्षेत्र के बैंकों को निवेश के लिए सबसे आकर्षक अवसर बताया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कई क्वालिटी प्राइवेट बैंक इस समय ऐसे वैल्यूएशन मल्टीपल्स पर ट्रेड कर रहे हैं, जो बीते कुछ सालों में दुर्लभ ही देखने को मिला है। कुछ बड़े प्राइवेट बैंकों के वैल्यूएशन तो अब पीएसयू बैंकों के आसपास आ पहुंचे हैं, जिससे इनमें री-रेटिंग की बड़ी गुंजाइश है।

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze are two of the most affordable sedans in India, priced at around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the top-spec Dzire ZXi+ and Amaze ZX offer a 1.2-litre engine with similar specifications and a similar feature suite, albeit with a couple of segment-only amenities. But what should you choose? We find out.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze have similar dimensions, but the Amaze has a 34-litre larger boot space, which enables it to carry a backpack more than the Dzire. Moreover, unlike the Dzire, which gets a fixed rear seatback, the Amaze’s rear seat can be folded to accommodate more luggage if needed.

The major difference in the powertrains of the two compact sedans is the number of cylinders: 3 in the Dzire’s naturally aspirated engine and 4 in the Amaze’s. The Honda Amaze produces 8hp more than the Dzire, but 2Nm less. In our real-world experience, we found that the Amaze’s engine loves to be revved. It has weak low-end performance, especially under 2,000rpm, but offers a strong mid-range. The Dzire’s engine, on the other hand, has a crisp throttle response and offers strong low-end torque.

Both sedans get a 5-speed manual transmission, but the Dzire offers a 5-speed AMT while the Amaze has a CVT. The Dzire’s AMT, in our real-world experience, has a prominent lag while shifting gears, which hampers the overall drive experience. The Amaze’s CVT is better in this regard and offers smoother shifts, but has a rubberband effect, something that is generally associated with CVTs.

It is the fuel efficiency where the Dzire really shines, offering an additional 6.14kpl and 6.25kpl claimed fuel efficiency over the Amaze’s manual and automatic transmission options, respectively.

The top-spec Maruti Dzire is offered with a single-pane sunroof, a segment-only feature, and a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system compared to the 8-inch unit on the Honda Amaze. The Dzire’s steering column also allows for telescopic adjustments. However, the Amaze offers paddle shifters with the CVT, which is missing on the Dzire AMT, and gets a larger multi-information display (MID) on the instrument cluster than the Dzire.

While both the Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze have a 5-star Bharat NCAP crash safety rating, there are a couple of changes in the safety suite of both sedans. The Amaze ZX offers Level-1 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a segment-only feature, while the Dzire offers a 360-degree camera system. The Amaze gets a traditional rear camera and a LaneWatch camera mounted on the left ORVM. Other safety features are the same on both sedans.

The Skoda Kushaq was updated earlier this year with much-needed improvements, and continues to offer 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engines. In the interest of better fuel efficiency, the carmaker introduced a new automatic gearbox for the former engine option, replacing the older 6-speed unit. We’ve tested the updated Kushaq’s fuel efficiency with this new gearbox and compared it with the real-world fuel efficiency figures with the larger, more powerful 1.5 TSI engine.

While the smaller 1.0 TSI develops 115hp and 178Nm, the 1.5 TSI mill outputs 150hp and 250Nm. In automatic guise, the former is paired to an 8-speed torque converter gearbox while the latter is paired to a 7-speed DCT. Additionally, both come with an auto engine start/stop system, but only the 1.5 TSI comes with cylinder deactivation technology, a feature that shuts off operation of two of the four cylinders depending on throttle input and engine load to curb fuel consumption. Both come with identical 50-litre fuel tanks, but the smaller 1.0 TSI helps it have a lighter kerb weight than the 1.5 TSI.

1.0 AT delivers better efficiency, but the gap isn’t huge

In our real-world fuel efficiency tests, the Kushaq 1.0 TSI AT averaged better than the 1.5 TSI DCT by 0.48kpl. In the city, the 1.0 TSI was more efficient than the 1.5 TSI by 1.15kpl. This is because of the 1.0’s lighter kerb weight and aggressive start/stop system. In contrast, the 1.5’s twin-cylinder deactivation tech helped it be more efficient on the highway than the 1.0 by 0.19kpl. Overall, the gap in real-world efficiency is slightly higher than their ARAI-claimed figures (0.48kpl vs 0.37kpl).

As the Kushaq’s 1.5 TSI automatic is limited to top-spec variants, it is Rs 5.9 lakh pricier than the 1.0 TSI automatic. In fact, even in top-spec guise, the latter powertrain combo is Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the former.

Autocar India’s fuel-efficiency testing

Before our real-world fuel-efficiency tests, we fill our test cars’ tanks to the brim and maintain tyre pressures based on the manufacturer’s recommendations. These cars are driven in fixed city and highway loops in and around Navi Mumbai, and we maintain certain average speeds. Throughout the tests, there is only one person in each car, operating the air conditioner and other electricals, such as the audio system, indicators and wipers, when required, just like a regular user would. Periodic driver swaps further neutralise variations in driver patterns. At the end of each cycle, we calculate efficiency by filling the tanks to full again.

कौन हैं काजिया लिज मेजो?
