Hyundai has launched a new Lounge Edition for the Creta, Creta Electric and Alcazar SUVs. This new edition is based on the top-spec trims of the respective SUVs and adds a new 11.6-inch entertainment screen for the rear passengers, along with a new Golden Bronze exterior hue, an all-black cabin with silver inserts and slightly revised seat upholstery. Interestingly, the Lounge Edition also debuts a 5-seater layout on the Hyundai Alcazar, which has been available in a 6- or 7-seat layout till now.
Range Rover has introduced a new Duo-Tone Fade paint finish through its Bespoke service. It uses two exterior colours that gradually blend from the roof and bonnet into the body sides and rear. The finish is available exclusively for the Range Rover SV. Range Rover has not announced a specific price for the paint option.

Four Duo-Tone Fade combinations are available: Velvet Depths, Sunstone Lustre, Ashen Amaranthine and Nacre Allure. Each is paired with a dual-tone interior.
Velvet Depths combines Obsidian with Sunrise Copper, while Sunstone Lustre pairs Obsidian with Tourmaline Brown. Ashen Amaranthine combines Obsidian with Amethyst, and Nacre Allure uses Obsidian with British Racing Green.
The finish is created using multiple layers of paint. The base colour is applied first, followed by the second colour, which is then blended into the base to create the fade. The process involves hand preparation and precision application, with the materials and colour combinations tested for compatibility.
Range Rover SV: What is it?
The Range Rover SV is the performance-focused version of the Range Rover and is available with both petrol and electric powertrains. The petrol version uses a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid producing 537hp and 750Nm, while the electric version has a claimed range of up to 600km.
The SV gets features including a 13.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, 13.7-inch digital driver’s display, 13.1-inch rear entertainment screens, heated steering wheel, powered rear sunblinds, four-zone climate control, head-up display, ambient lighting, 360-degree camera and air purifier. All seats are electrically adjustable and get heating, ventilation, massage and memory functions.
Range Rover also offers the SV Bespoke service, which allows customers to customise the exterior and interior of their SUV.
Mirzapur The Movie box office day 2: पॉपुलर सीरीज ‘मिर्ज़ापुर’ के फैंस लंबे समय से इसके स्पिन-ऑफ का इंतजार कर रहे थे। फिल्म की शुरुआत शुक्रवार को जबरदस्त रही। बड़े बजट की इस फिल्म में जाने-पहचाने किरदारों के साथ-साथ नए चेहरे भी दिखे। यह OTT IP को बड़े पर्दे पर लाने का पहला बड़ा एक्सपेरिमेंट था। आइए देखते हैं कि फ़िल्म अब तक कैसा प्रदर्शन कर रही है।
मिर्ज़ापुर द मूवी बॉक्स ऑफिस कलेक्शन
उम्मीद के मुताबिक, ‘मिर्जापुर द मूवी’ की शुरुआत शुक्रवार को ज़बरदस्त रही और इसने पहले दिन ₹24.75 करोड़ की कमाई की। ऐसी फ़िल्म के लिए जिसमें बड़े स्टार्स के बजाय ज़्यादातर कैरेक्टर एक्टर्स हैं, यह एक बहुत बड़ा आंकड़ा है। इससे पता चलता है कि पॉपुलर सीरीज़ से जुड़ी होने के कारण फ़िल्म को कितना अच्छा रिस्पॉन्स मिला है। इसकी कमाई ‘सैयारा’ (₹22 करोड़) और ‘आवारापन 2’ (₹21.50 करोड़) जैसी हिट फ़िल्मों से भी ज़्यादा रही।
शनिवार को भी ‘मिर्ज़ापुर द मूवी’ का दबदबा बना रहा। Sacnilk के अनुसार, ‘मिर्ज़ापुर द मूवी’ ने रिलीज़ के दूसरे दिन ₹31 करोड़ कमाए। फ़िल्म का सबसे बड़ा आकर्षण इसका हिंदी वर्जन है, जिसने ₹30.75 करोड़ कमाए। तेलुगु-डब वर्शन से ज़्यादा फ़ायदा नहीं हुआ, इसने सिर्फ़ ₹0.25 करोड़ कमाए। इससे भारत में कुल ग्रॉस कलेक्शन ₹68.20 करोड़ और कुल नेट कलेक्शन ₹56.75 करोड़ हो गया है।
Amazon MGM Studios और Excel Entertainment द्वारा पेश ‘मिर्ज़ापुर द मूवी’ को गुरमीत सिंह ने डायरेक्ट किया है, पुनीत कृष्णा ने लिखा है और Excel Entertainment के बैनर तले रितेश सिधवानी और फरहान अख्तर ने प्रोड्यूस किया है। कासिम जगमगिया और विशाल रामचंदानी को-प्रोड्यूसर हैं।

Taapsee Pannu: तापसी पन्नू ने भारतीय सिनेमा में महिलाओं के किरदारों को लेकर हो रही चर्चा पर अपनी राय रखी है। हाल ही में राम चरण की ‘पेड्डी’ और यश की ‘टॉक्सिक’ जैसी दो बड़े बजट की फिल्मों में महिला किरदारों को दिखाए जाने के तरीके की ऑनलाइन काफी आलोचना हुई। इस विवाद पर बात करते हुए तापसी ने कहा कि फिल्म इंडस्ट्री अक्सर यह कहकर आलोचना से बचती है कि ऐसा कंटेंट सिर्फ दर्शकों की मांग पर बनाया जाता है।
जूम टीवी के साथ बातचीत में तापसी ने बताया कि इंडस्ट्री अक्सर ऐसे किरदारों के लिए दर्शकों को जिम्मेदार ठहराती है और इसे एक ऐसी लड़ाई बताया जिसे एक्टर्स दर्शकों के सपोर्ट के बिना नहीं जीत सकते। “आप चाहे कितना भी शोर मचा लें, आपको सोशल मीडिया पर उतने ही लोग मिल जाएंगे जो वही तस्वीर इस्तेमाल कर रहे होंगे, उसे जूम कर रहे होंगे, अजीब एंगल से अलग-अलग तरह के वीडियो और तस्वीरें बना रहे होंगे और उसे वायरल कर रहे होंगे। तो सोशल मीडिया पर इसके लिए दर्शक मौजूद हैं।”
इस पूरी प्रक्रिया को “मांग और आपूर्ति” (demand and supply) बताते हुए तापसी ने कहा, “लोगों को लगता है कि जनता मांग रही है तो हमें देना चाहिए, वरना हम पैसे कैसे कमाएंगे? इसलिए कला पीछे छूट जाती है, हुनर पीछे छूट जाता है। कोविड से पहले हमने काफी तरक्की की थी और हम बेहतरीन फिल्मों के स्तर तक पहुंच रहे थे। लेकिन अब हम फिर से पीछे छूट रहे हैं। सभी मेकर्स दर्शकों पर दोष मढ़ देंगे और यहीं पर हम सभी एक्टर्स कोई ठोस जवाब नहीं दे पाते। यह एक ऐसी लड़ाई है जिसे हम हार जाएंगे, और सिर्फ दर्शक ही हमें इसे जीतने में मदद कर सकते हैं।”
तापसी की ये बातें ‘पेड्डी’ और ‘टॉक्सिक’ दोनों फिल्मों को लेकर सोशल मीडिया पर हो रही आलोचना के बीच सामने आईं। फिल्म में जाह्नवी कपूर के किरदार के बहुत ज़्यादा hypersexualised चित्रण की आलोचना हुई। सोशल मीडिया यूज़र्स ने कैमरा वर्क, रोमांटिक सीन और जाह्नवी के किरदार की असलियत के बजाय उसके शारीरिक दिखावे पर ज़्यादा ज़ोर देने को लेकर सवाल उठाए। बाद में डायरेक्टर ने फ़िल्म से ये सीन हटा दिए और माफ़ी भी मांगी।
दूसरी ओर, ‘टॉक्सिक ए फेयरी टेल फॉर ग्रोन-अप्स’ में महिलाओं के चित्रण को लेकर फ़िल्म के रिलीज़ होने से पहले ही बहस शुरू हो गई थी। रिलीज़ के बाद आलोचना और बढ़ गई। कुछ दर्शकों ने मेकर्स पर महिला किरदारों को सिर्फ़ एक ‘वस्तु’ (object) की तरह दिखाने और उन्हें सिर्फ़ ग्लैमर, कामुकता और मुख्य पुरुष किरदार के साथ उनके रिश्तों के ज़रिए पेश करने का आरोप लगाया।
तापसी पन्नू हाल ही में नेटफ़्लिक्स फ़िल्म ‘गांधारी’ में नज़र आईं। देवाशीष मखीजा की डायरेक्ट की गई इस एक्शन थ्रिलर फ़िल्म में इशवाक सिंह, छाया कदम, स्वस्तिका मुखर्जी और मीता वशिष्ठ भी अहम भूमिकाओं में हैं। यह फ़िल्म अभी नेटफ़्लिक्स पर स्ट्रीम हो रही है।
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has revealed plans to develop a dedicated motorsport city in Chennai. This will include a new race track, capable of hosting F1, F2, F3, F4 and other international races.
“An Olympic city will be set up in Chennai. A Motor Sports city will also be set up in Chennai to host Formula 1 races. The talents of youth in motor sports will be identified, and training and racing opportunities will be provided to create national and international level champions,” Vijay said during the state Assembly.
He added, “Establishing world-class motor vehicle car racing arenas will provide opportunities for tourism, special vehicle manufacturing industries, employment, and economic development.”

Tamil Nadu is at the very heart of the motorsport scene in India, with tracks like the Madras International Circuit and Kari Motor Speedway hosting majority of our national championship races. There’s also the Madras International Karting arena, which is the first karting track in the country to meet global CIK (Commission Internationale de Karting) standards.
Vijay highlighted the business case behind setting up the new motorsport city in the state. Tamil Nadu is currently a leading state for the production of various two-wheelers and four-wheelers, as well as racing vehicles. He added that setting up “world class” racing venues will provide opportunities to boost tourism, specialised vehicle manufacturing industries and well as employment and the local economy in general.
While the precise location of this new motorsport city hasn’t been revealed, Vijay did share that the goal is for the venue to be capable of hosting international-level racing like F4, F3, F2 and even F1.
Driver development will be another key focus area. Vijay stated that the venue will also include training facilities to identify and nurture local racing talent in a bid to give them opportunities on the national and international stage.
India eyes F1 return
This announcement follows renewed interest from the Indian government to bring F1 back to India.
The Buddh International Circuit last hosted The F1 Indian GP from 2011 to 2013. But the race was then dropped, mainly due to the Uttar Pradesh government’s taxation policy at the time, which classified F1 as entertainment rather than sport.
However, speaking to media earlier this year, sports minister Mansukh Mandaviya shared that the government is working to make India a viable host country for international racing. “For instance, if the entertainment tax cannot be altogether repealed, we will try to ensure that reimbursements are provided to incentivise the project for the organisers. Discussions are ongoing on this issue. It is an interministerial matter, and we are trying our best to make it attractive for Formula 1,” he said at the time.
F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has stated that there is “big interest” for the championship to return to India, but also stressed that this won’t happen any time soon and will require several conditions to be met. “There are the right things that we need to do – to again find back the right promoters, the right collaboration and the right timing, which will not be in the very short term. But when we talk about five years in Formula 1, it seems to be very far away, but it’s not,” he told F1 India broadcaster FanCode.
NCLT ने Zee Entertainment के चेयरमैन एमेरिटस सुभाष चंद्रा के ₹6.5 करोड़ के रिपेमेंट प्लान को मंजूरी देने वाले पिछले आदेश पर रोक लगा दी है। CNBC-TV18 की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, 1 सितंबर को मामले की सुनवाई के लिए बनी पांच सदस्यीय बेंच ने यह फैसला लिया।
टाई-ब्रेकर जज की राय अंतिम फैसला नहीं
पांच सदस्यीय बेंच ने कहा कि टाई-ब्रेकर जज की राय बहुमत का फैसला नहीं है। इसलिए इसे मामले का अंतिम आदेश नहीं माना जा सकता।
दरअसल, इस मामले की सुनवाई दिल्ली NCLT की तीन सदस्यीय बेंच कर रही थी। सुभाष चंद्रा के रिपेमेंट प्लान को मंजूरी देने पर बेंच के सदस्यों के बीच सहमति नहीं बन सकी। ऐसे में टाई-ब्रेकर जज की राय के आधार पर प्लान को मंजूरी देने की बात सामने आई थी।
₹22,007 करोड़ के दावों के बदले ₹6.5 करोड़ का प्लान
सुभाष चंद्रा ने ₹22,007 करोड़ के मंजूर दावों के मुकाबले सिर्फ ₹6.5 करोड़ का रिपेमेंट प्लान पेश किया था। इस पर कुछ बैंकों और वित्तीय संस्थानों ने कड़ी आपत्ति जताई थी।
Canara Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank और LIC Housing Finance ने इस प्लान के खिलाफ वोट किया था। इन सभी ने NCLT से प्लान को खारिज करने की मांग की।
बैंकों ने क्यों किया विरोध?
बैंकों और वित्तीय संस्थानों का कहना था कि ₹6.5 करोड़ की रकम बेहद कम है। उनके मुताबिक, यह सुभाष चंद्रा की कुल संपत्तियों की वैल्यू का सिर्फ 0.028% है।
इसलिए उनका मानना था कि इतनी कम रकम वाला रिपेमेंट प्लान मंजूर नहीं किया जाना चाहिए।
पांच सदस्यीय बेंच करेगी मामले की सुनवाई
अब मामले की सुनवाई NCLT की पांच सदस्यीय बेंच करेगी। इसमें न्यायिक सदस्य अनुपिंदर सिंह ग्रेवाल, बाचू वेंकट बलराम दास और महेंद्र खंडेलवाल शामिल हैं।
तकनीकी सदस्यों में अतुल चतुर्वेदी और रविंद्र चतुर्वेदी शामिल हैं। अब इस मामले में आगे का फैसला इस बड़ी बेंच की सुनवाई के बाद होगा।

सरकारी इंश्योरेंस कंपनी New India Assurance Company को ₹781.39 करोड़ का इनकम टैक्स रिफंड मिला है। इसमें ₹59.63 करोड़ का ब्याज भी शामिल है। यह रिफंड असेसमेंट ईयर 2022-23 से जुड़ा है। इनकम टैक्स विभाग ने शिकायत के समाधान के बाद यह रकम जारी की है।

आईवियर रिटेल कंपनी Lenskart में बड़ी ब्लॉक डील हो सकती है। सूत्रों के मुताबिक Alphawave करीब 1.2% हिस्सेदारी बेच सकता है। डील का आकार करीब ₹1,313 करोड़ है। फ्लोर प्राइस ₹630 प्रति शेयर रखा गया है, जो मौजूदा भाव से करीब 1.7% कम है।
NBCC (India)
सरकारी कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी NBCC को पांच नए वर्क ऑर्डर मिले हैं। इनकी कुल वैल्यू ₹134.27 करोड़ है। इसमें स्कूल कैंपस, एजुकेशन सेंटर और Canara Bank की बिल्डिंग से जुड़े प्रोजेक्ट शामिल हैं। ऑर्डर में तीन केंद्रीय विद्यालयों के प्रोजेक्ट भी हैं।
Wipro
आईटी सर्विसेज कंपनी Wipro ने Google Cloud के साथ अपनी पार्टनरशिप बढ़ाई है। इसका मकसद Gemini Enterprise और AI को बड़े स्तर पर अपनाना है। Wipro अपने कारोबार में भी Gemini Enterprise का इस्तेमाल करेगी। साथ ही 10,000 से ज्यादा AI सर्टिफाइड विशेषज्ञों को इस टेक्नोलॉजी के लिए तैयार किया जाएगा।
Life Insurance Corporation of India
सरकारी इंश्योरेंस कंपनी LIC ने Bajaj Finance के NCD में ₹5,000 करोड़ का निवेश किया है। LIC ने ₹1 लाख फेस वैल्यू वाले 5 लाख NCD खरीदे हैं। यह निवेश कंपनी ने रेगुलेटरी फाइलिंग में बताया है। NCD यानी नॉन कन्वर्टिबल डिबेंचर एक तरह का डेट इंस्ट्रूमेंट है।
RPP Infra Projects
इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर कंपनी RPP Infra Projects को बड़ा झटका लगा है। तमिलनाडु सरकार ने चेन्नई में प्रस्तावित Global Sports City प्रोजेक्ट को नए सिरे से तैयार करने का फैसला किया है। इसके चलते कंपनी का ₹205.89 करोड़ का कॉन्ट्रैक्ट खत्म हो गया है।
Bharat Petroleum Corporation
सरकारी ऑयल मार्केटिंग कंपनी Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) के चेयरमैन और MD संजय खन्ना ने कहा कि एनर्जी सेक्टर में उतार-चढ़ाव बना रहेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि ग्राहकों को E10 पेट्रोल का विकल्प दिया जा सकता है। लेकिन, E20 को बंद नहीं किया जाएगा।
Zee Entertainment Enterprises
मीडिया कंपनी Zee Entertainment Enterprises से जुड़ा अहम अपडेट आया है। NCLT ने सुभाष चंद्रा की पर्सनल इनसॉल्वेंसी रिजॉल्यूशन प्रक्रिया में प्रस्तावित रिपेमेंट प्लान को मंजूरी दे दी है। HDFC Bank इस आदेश के खिलाफ NCLAT में अपील करने के विकल्प पर विचार कर रहा है।
RVNL
सरकारी रेलवे इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर कंपनी RVNL ने राकेश भल्ला को दोबारा Additional Director नियुक्त किया है। उन्हें इंडिपेंडेंट डायरेक्टर की जिम्मेदारी दी गई है। उनकी दोबारा नियुक्ति 25 अगस्त 2026 से प्रभावी है। इससे पहले उन्हें 13 अगस्त को इस पद पर नियुक्त किया गया था।

Mahindra has announced that its electric vehicle line-up will get Google’s Gemini AI assistant by January 2027. “From 1st January 2027, Google Gemini will go live on all other cars, including the original BE 6. That’s the advantage of MAIA architecture,” said R Velusamy, president, Automotive Business, Mahindra and Mahindra, in an interview with Autocar India. Additionally, other software-defined features that debuted on the BE 6 Sporteq will roll out to its existing portfolio in phases from January 2027.
Which software-defined features will the existing line-up get?
The recently introduced BE 6 Sporteq gets Google Gemini from day one, and all upcoming models will also have this feature. Meanwhile, Mahindra’s existing line-up – the XEV 9e, XEV 9S and the older BE 6 – will receive it via an over-the-air (OTA) update by January 2027. Essentially, these vehicles will now get the BE 6 Sporteq’s ‘TEQ’ suite of features, and below is a list of them.
1. TEQ_Talk (Google Gemini)
Mahindra’s in-car MAIA assistant is now powered by Google Gemini, enabling conversational AI features. The brand says it uses 17 specialised AI agents to facilitate natural interactions and supports over 100 core functions and 48 applications, including navigation, entertainment, vehicle controls, general knowledge and more.
2. TEQ_Secure
This suite brings Secure 360 Pro, which basically lets you keep an eye on your car through its 360-degree camera system and dashcam. With Mahindra’s Me4U app, users can check live footage and recordings, activate audio relay and track their vehicle. There’s also a digital car key ecosystem across smartphones, smartwatches and NFC key cards. Additionally, cars with a passenger display also come equipped with a parental lock feature.
3. TEQ_Me
TEQ_Me brings the user profile with an auto-detection feature that instantly adjusts your vehicle settings, including seat and mirror position, climate control and infotainment preferences, head-up display and drive modes, according to the selected user profile.
4. TEQ_Drive
The TEQ_Drive suite brings several driving features to Mahindra electric SUVs. A custom mode allows users to select and individually fine-tune the drive, suspension and steering modes. There’s also a drift mode that allows “controlled drifting in suitable conditions” by disabling the vehicle’s ESP completely, which wasn’t possible before.
Moreover, users can now get additional range at zero percent charge with the Revive mode to reach the nearest charger. It essentially adds up to 13km of range, with the Revive SOS mode further adding up to 11km of range during emergencies. The latter can be used only five times in the vehicle’s lifetime. Lastly, Tribe Drive lets you track the locations of your friends and family who also own Mahindra electric SUVs on road trips.
5. TEQ_Play
This mainly covers in-car entertainment features such as gaming, with support for up to four Bluetooth-enabled controllers along with a karaoke mode. Meanwhile, users can privately stream in-car audio with compatible Bluetooth devices via the private audio feature. Additionally, the ‘GrooveMe Party’ feature syncs the vehicle’s interior and exterior lights with the music playing, which is a cool party trick.
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the long-wheelbase version of the GLE SUV, called the GLE L, at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show in China. Currently built in China, the Mercedes-Benz GLE L has a 120mm longer wheelbase than the standard-wheelbase model and is offered with two turbo-petrol engine options.
Engine options include 2.0L 4-cyl turbo-petrol and 3.0L 6-cyl turbo-petrol mills

What’s new is a boss mode feature, which tilts the front passenger seat by 10.91 degrees for enhanced rear-seat comfort. Mercedes states that this feature is derived from the more opulent Maybach GLS. The GLE L also gets new rear seat entertainment screens and an indigenous AI assistant.
Offers two turbo-petrol engines, which are the same as the standard-wheelbase model
Mercedes-Benz will offer the GLE L in two trim levels: 350 L 4Matic and 450 L 4Matic, with the same turbo-petrol engine options as the standard-wheelbase model. The ‘350’ has a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 258hp and 400Nm, while the ‘450’ has a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo-petrol engine that produces 381hp and 560Nm. Both the engines are available with a 45V mild-hybrid assist and are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels (AWD).
Notably, the standard-wheelbase GLE is also offered in a ‘580’ version with a 537hp, 4-litre twin-turbo V8, a plug-in-hybrid ‘450e’, and two diesel versions: 350d and 450d.
Everything else is similar to the standard-wheelbase model
Save for the additional wheelbase and redesigned alloy wheels, there is no difference in how the Mercedes-Benz GLE LWB looks compared to the standard-wheelbase model. It continues with a gloss-black grille with a chrome surround and a plethora of tristar elements, and the same dual-barrel headlights with tristar-shaped LED DRLs. The rear design is also identical, with wraparound taillights sporting triangular LED elements, joined by a black trim and dual exhaust tips.
The interior design of the China-spec GLE L is identical to the standard-wheelbase SUV. It features three 12.3-inch screens on the dashboard, one each for the instrumentation, infotainment and front passenger entertainment, and a 3-spoke steering wheel with touch-enabled buttons and physical rocker and roller toggles.
There is no word from Mercedes-Benz about the long-wheelbase GLE’s India launch. The manufacturer offers the E-Class and the V-Class in their respective long-wheelbase avatars in the country. Moreover, there is a growing interest in long-wheelbase cars in the luxury segment, which could make the GLE L an interesting proposition in India. Interestingly, the GLE’s prime rival, the BMW X5, is slated to launch in India in 2027 in a long-wheelbase avatar.
