With a total output of 120hp and 172Nm, the Syros has one of the most potent turbo-petrol engines in the segment. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, with the former claiming to be the more frugal option. The manual version is more affordable than the DCT, and interestingly, the top-end manual’s price is just Rs 6,000 more than the entry-spec DCT variant.

In our real-world tests, we found that the manual version was more frugal than the DCT version in both city and highway conditions by 0.81kpl and 1.1kpl, respectively. This results in the Syros turbo-petrol manual being overall 0.95kpl more fuel efficient than the DCT version.

Before our real-world fuel efficiency tests, we fill our test cars’ tanks to the brim and maintain tyre pressures based on the manufacturer’s recommendations. These cars are driven in fixed city and highway loops in and around Navi Mumbai, and we maintain certain average speeds. Throughout the tests, there is only one person in each car, running the air conditioner and other electricals, such as the audio system, indicators and wipers, when required, just like a regular user would. Periodic driver swaps further neutralise variations in driver patterns. At the end of each cycle, we calculate efficiency by filling the tanks to full again.

Wipro: अप्रैल-जून 2026 तिमाही (Q1) में शुद्ध कंसोलिडेटेड मुनाफा सालाना आधार पर 0.6% बढ़कर ₹3,356.3 करोड़ हो गया। IT सर्विस रेवेन्यू 10.7% बढ़कर ₹24,452.9 करोड़, IT सर्विस डॉलर रेवेन्यू 1% बढ़कर $261.45 करोड़ रहा। IT सर्विस ऑपरेटिंग मार्जिन 130 bps घटकर 16% रहा। कंपनी ने Q2 में IT सर्विस डॉलर रेवेन्यू $257.4-262.7 करोड़ रहने का अनुमान जताया है।

Tech Mahindra: Q1 में शुद्ध कंसोलिडेटेड मुनाफा सालाना आधार पर 31.7% बढ़कर ₹1,486.3 करोड़ हो गया। रेवेन्यू 17.7% बढ़कर ₹15,711.9 करोड़ हो गया। डॉलर रेवेन्यू 6.1% बढ़कर $166 करोड़ और EBIT मार्जिन 330 bps बढ़कर 14.4% रहा।

WeWork India Management: Q1 में शुद्ध कंसोलिडेटेड घाटा सालाना आधार पर कम होकर ₹4.3 करोड़ रह गया। रेवेन्यू 27.7% बढ़कर ₹683.8 करोड़ हो गया।

Maruti Suzuki India: कंपनी रायपुर के डिस्ट्रिक्ट कंज्यूमर डिस्प्यूट्स रिड्रेसल कमीशन के 14 जुलाई के आदेश को चुनौती देगी। कमीशन ने कंपनी को निर्देश दिया है कि वह एक ग्राहक की गाड़ी को नए E20-कम्पैटिबल मॉडल से बदले। ग्राहक ने E20 पेट्रोल के इस्तेमाल से जुड़ी समस्याओं की शिकायत की थी। कंपनी ने कहा कि इस मामले में शामिल गाड़ी पहले से ही E20-कम्पैटिबल थी और E20 फ्यूल पर चलने में पूरी तरह सक्षम थी, जैसा कि ओनर मैनुअल में बताया गया है। यह कार ग्राहक को जून 2024 में बेची गई थी, लेकिन इसे जनवरी 2023 में बनाया गया था।

मारुति सुजुकी का यह भी कहना है कि ग्राहक की गाड़ी से लिए गए फ्यूल में मिलावट के सबूत मिले थे और कई अन्य जरूरी बातें कमीशन के आदेश में शामिल नहीं की गईं।

Kia is aiming at the growing compact electric SUV segment with the upcoming Syros EV, set to be its second mass-market electric model for India. The Syros EV utilises the same K1 platform as its ICE-powered counterpart. Bookings for the Syros EV are already open ahead of its launch, scheduled for the end of July 2026. In this article, we answer everything that you need to know about the Syros EV.

1. What battery pack options does the Kia Syros EV offer, and how much power does its motor produce?

The Kia Syros EV offers the same 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs that do duty in the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the Hyundai Creta Electric. Both are mated to a front-mounted motor. In the 42kWh guise, the motor delivers 135hp and 255Nm, but in the 51.4kWh guise, power is bumped to 171hp, while torque remains the same. The 51.4kWh battery pack and its 171hp motor make it the model with the largest battery pack and the most powerful motor in the class. Kia claims a 0-100kph sprint in 8.1 seconds with the 51.4kWh version.

2. What is the claimed range of the Kia Syros EV?

The ARAI-rated range is 443km for the 42kWh battery pack and 543km for the larger 51.4kWh unit. Not only does the Syros EV have a higher claimed range than the Clavis EV and the Creta Electric, but its 543km figure is also the highest in the compact electric SUV segment.

3. What charging speeds does the Kia Syros EV support, and how long does it take to charge?

The Kia Syros EV supports up to 11kW AC charging speeds, while DC charging is capped at 100kW. A 10-100 percent top-up for the 42kWh version takes 6 hours with the 7.4kW charger and 4 hours with the 11kW unit. In the 51.4kWh guise, the same takes 7 hours and 15 minutes with a 7.4kW charger and 4 hours and 50 minutes with an 11kW charger. Kia also claims that with a 100kW DC fast charger, both batteries can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 39 minutes.

4. How different is the Kia Syros EV from the ICE Syros on the outside and inside?

The Kia Syros EV may look largely similar to the ICE Syros, but it comes with a charging flap on the front fender, EV badging at the rear and a different set of alloy wheels that give it some distinction. Apart from these differences, it retains the overall tall-boy silhouette, front and rear bumper designs and lighting elements found on its combustion-powered counterpart.

Inside, the dashboard layout remains the same as the ICE Syros, but there are some revisions to the centre console, which is high-set and features storage spaces and retractable cup holders. Also, the drive select lever has shifted to the steering wheel column.

5. What features does the Kia Syros EV come with?

For starters, the Kia Syros EV retains its ICE counterpart’s unique sliding and reclining rear seat with a ventilation function for the seat base. It also gets features such as dual 12.3-inch screens, a 5-inch HVAC control screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting and rear sunshades.

सॉफ्टवेयर कंपनियों के शेयर फरवरी 2026 में बुरी तरह टूटे। इसकी वजह Anthropic का नया Agentic AI प्लेटफॉर्म रहा। इसके बाद Salesforce, Adobe और ServiceNow जैसे शेयरों में तेज बिकवाली हुई। निवेशकों को लगा कि AI पारंपरिक सॉफ्टवेयर कंपनियों के बिजनेस मॉडल को बदल सकता है।

AI चिप बनाने वाली कंपनी Nvidia को जनवरी 2025 में बड़ा झटका लगा। कंपनी का मार्केट कैप एक ही दिन में करीब 600 अरब डॉलर घट गया। इसकी वजह चीन के AI स्टार्टअप DeepSeek का सस्ता AI मॉडल था। इसके बाद निवेशकों को डर सताने लगा कि महंगे AI चिप्स की मांग उम्मीद से कम हो सकती है।

Alphabet और Big Tech

टेक दिग्गज कंपनियों Alphabet, Amazon, Meta और Microsoft के शेयर जून 2026 में फिसल गए। Alphabet करीब 6% और Amazon लगभग 5% टूट गया। निवेशकों को चिंता थी कि AI पर हो रहा भारी खर्च कब मुनाफे में बदलेगा।

भारतीय आईटी सेक्टर

भारतीय आईटी कंपनियां भी इस दबाव से नहीं बचीं। IBM की गिरावट के बाद AI को लेकर चिंता बढ़ गई। Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCLTech, Persistent Systems, Coforge और LTIMindtree जैसे शेयरों में बिकवाली देखने को मिली। Nifty IT Index करीब 2% टूट गया। जबकि Nifty 50 और Sensex बढ़त के साथ बंद हुए।

फिलहाल AI सेक्टर की लंबी अवधि की कहानी मजबूत मानी जा रही है। लेकिन ऊंची वैल्यूएशन, मुनाफे को लेकर सवाल और AI से बदलते कारोबार की वजह से इस सेक्टर में आगे भी तेज उतार-चढ़ाव देखने को मिल सकता है।

JSW MG to launch XEV 9S-rivalling electric SUV in August 2026

JSW MG unveiled its new ADAPT BEV/hybrid platform earlier today, and we can now confirm the first model to be based on it will be a Mahindra XEV 9S-rivaling EV that goes on sale next month. The model will have much in common with the Indonesia market Wuling Eksion. For those not in the know, Wuling is a sister brand to MG Motors and both come under the broader SAIC umbrella.

Sources tell us JSW MG is targeting keen pricing for its electric SUV, which could undercut the XEV 9S 70kWh that retails for Rs 25.8 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Eksion-based electric SUV: Battery and range details

The JSW MG electric SUV will be offered with a 69kWh battery pack and an official range of around 600km. For reference, the XEV 9S is offered with three battery pack options – 59kWh (official range 521km), 70kWh (600km) and 79kWh (679km). The 70kWh battery pack is the sweet spot of the XEV 9S line-up and the one JSW MG would like to woo buyers away from.

The Eksion’s single motor produces 201hp and 310Nm versus the XEV 9S 70kWh’s 245hp and 380Nm figures. Also, while the Eksion sports a front motor, front wheel drive layout, the XEV 9S uses a rear motor, rear wheel drive arrangement.

MG Eksion-based electric SUV: Exterior and interior details

Measuring 4.7m in length, 1.85m in width and 1.7m in height, the Wuling Eksion closely matches the 4.7m long, 1.9m wide, and 1.7m tall XEV 9S in size. Also like the XEV 9S, the Eksion is offered in a 7 seat configuration which makes it an option of great interest for buyers with large families.

In look, the MG electric SUV will feature a boxy, upright stance and an upright tail. The interior features a minimalist design with a 12.8-inch touchscreen being the centrepiece of the dashboard. A digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and powered tail gate are features expected on the model for India.

Eksion-based plug-in hybrid SUV to be pitched as MG’s XUV 7XO rival

JSW MG will keep the momentum going next year with the launch of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) version of the SUV. While the basic shape will be shared with the BEV, the PHEV will sport some different styling elements.

The PHEV, which will be the second model off the ADAPT platform, pairs a 105hp/130Nm, 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine and a 195hp/230Nm electric motor that’s powered by a 20.5kWh LFP battery. Wuling claims a 125km all-electric range and a combined range of over 1,000km for the Eksion PHEV.

JSW MG would be hoping Indian buyers see the PHEV as the best of both worlds – silent running and low costs of an EV with the freedom of a petrol engine. It is understood that JSW MG has large diesel-automatic SUVs in its crosshairs and is looking to price its PHEV SUV within Rs 1.5 lakh off the Mahindra XUV 7XO diesel-AT.    

EV and PHEV to be in focus

While the ADAPT platform supports battery electric, plug-in hybrid, range extender and strong hybrid powertrains, JSW MG will focus on BEVs and PHEVs to begin with. Speaking to Autocar India, Anurag Mehrotra – MD, JSW, MG Motor India – underlined while there is space for all powertrains “The BEV will continue to have the largest lion’s share of the pie. You will then have the plug-in hybrids, you will then have the (strong) hybrids. Range extender electric vehicles (REEVs) is a relatively new technology, so it is at a much smaller pie of the entire new energy vehicle market.”

Mehrotra also stressed the importance of a multi-powertrain approach from a consumer and manufacturer point of view. “We genuinely believe the answer to India’s electrification journey is not a single powertrain. It has to be multiple and this platform will give us the capital efficiency and at the same time the benefit to the consumer in terms of faster charging, longer range, better driving experience and all powertrains in a single platform.” Mehrotra said.

Ahead of its launch later this month, the Kia Syros EV has been unveiled in full. It follows a similar philosophy to the Kia Carens Clavis EV, wherein there are little to no exterior changes compared to the ICE-powered Syros. Even on the inside, the Syros EV is largely identical to its ICE counterpart, save for a three-spoke steering wheel instead of the latter’s two-spoke one, a floating centre console, and additional features like V2L functionality and virtual engine sounds. Under the skin, the Syros EV offers the same 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery options as the Carens Clavis EV and Hyundai Creta Electric.

Volvo EX90 India debut on August 19

Volvo has confirmed that the India debut of the EX90 electric SUV will take place on August 19, 2026. The EX90 will be Volvo’s second EV for the Indian market, and is also the Swedish carmaker’s global flagship offering.

92kWh RWD and 106kWh AWD powertrains

The EX90 is underpinned by an 800V architecture and offers 92kWh (Single Motor) and 106kWh (Twin Motor) battery options. In 92kWh guise, the SUV gets a single rear-mounted motor (RWD) outputting 333hp and 480Nm. 0-100kph comes up in a claimed 6.6 seconds, and the WLTP-rated range is 565km.

Meanwhile, the 106kWh EX90 features a dual-motor AWD setup that outputs 456hp and 670Nm in base spec, and 680hp and 870Nm in the range-topping Performance variant. The former version completes the 0-100kph run in a claimed 5.3 seconds, whereas the latter takes 4 seconds for the same. As for WLTP range, the lower-powered 106kWh variant boasts 608km and the Performance trim manages 602km.

Coming to charging speeds, all three variants of the EX90 can utilise up to 350kW DC charging, and take 22 minutes for a 10-80 percent charge.

Looks very different compared to the XC90

Measuring 5,037mm in length, 1,964mm in width, 1,744mm in height, and 2,985mm in wheelbase, the EX90 is dimensionally similar to the XC90, but sports a distinct design. Up front, the EX90 has sleeker T-shaped headlamps with pixel-like ‘Thor’s Hammer’ DRL signatures, below which sits a pair of slim vertically-arranged lights. The Volvo badge is placed front and centre on the grille-less fascia, with a discreet air dam underneath. A LiDAR sensor can also be spotted on the leading edge of the roof.

The side profile of the EX90 is cleanly-styled, with a prominent shoulder line and gently rising glass area, and there’s not much in the way of body cladding – Volvo claims a drag coefficient of 0.29Cd. 20-inch alloy wheels are fitted as standard, with 21- and 22-inchers optionally available. Over to the rear, the EX90 gets C-shaped LED tail-lamps with an additional vertical row of lights flanking the rear windscreen. Other styling elements of note include a sizable roof spoiler and a Volvo wordmark on the bootlid.

14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen sits front and centre on the dash

Inside, the EX90’s minimalistic dashboard is dominated by a 14.5-inch Google-based portrait touchscreen that incorporates much of the in-car functionality – physical controls are few and far between. There’s also a floating centre console, a three-spoke steering wheel with a neat layered design, a slim 9-inch digital driver’s display, and a 13.2-inch heads-up display.

The EX90 is a 7-seater as standard, but certain variants offer a 6-seat configuration with captain’s chairs for the second row as well. In some markets, Volvo even offers a 4-seater version of the EX90 with a rear centre console that integrates a refrigerator, rivalling the likes of the Mercedes Maybach EQS SUV. Boot space is pegged at up to 384 litres with all three rows up, and there’s a 45-litre frunk too.

As for features, the EX90 packs a 5G connection to aid OTA updates, a digital key, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, a cabin air purifier, a wireless charging pad, a 360-degree camera, powered front seats, a panoramic glass roof, a Bose sound system, connected car tech, auto park assist, Level 3 ADAS, V2L functionality, and more. It’s also claimed to be Volvo’s safest car to date, holding 5-star crash safety ratings from Euro NCAP and NCAP.

Market Outlook : 16 जुलाई को उतार-चढ़ाव भरे सेशन में भारतीय बेंचमार्क इंडेक्स बिना किसी बड़े बदलाव के सपाट बंद हुए हैं। IT और कंज्यूमर सेंट्रिक शेयरों में बढ़त का असर बैंकिंग और रियल्टी शेयरों में कमजोरी से खत्म हो गया। कारोबारी सत्र के अंत में सेंसेक्स 1.44 अंक बढ़कर 77,186.87 पर और निफ्टी 5.75 अंक या 0.02 प्रतिशत गिरकर 24,072.75 पर बंद हुआ। लगभग 1947 शेयरों में बढ़त हुई, 2119 शेयरों में गिरावट आई और 194 शेयरों में कोई बदलाव नहीं हुआ।

अलग-अलग शेयरों में मिला-जुला असर दिखा। इंटरग्लोब एविएशन सबसे ज्यादा बढ़त वाले शेयरों में शामिल रहा, जिसमें 1.8% की तेजी आई। इसके बाद विप्रो (+1.7%), बजाज फाइनेंस (+1.6%), HCL टेक्नोलॉजीज (+1.6%) और मारुति सुजुकी (+1.4%) रहे। गिरावट वाले शेयरों में, एटरनल 2.8% गिरा, जबकि SBI लाइफ इंश्योरेंस में 2.3% की गिरावट आई। भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स 0.9% गिरा, HDFC बैंक 0.8% टूटा और श्रीराम फाइनेंस में 0.8% की गिरावट आई।

सेक्टर इंडेक्स में, निफ्टी कंज्यूमर ड्यूरेबल्स सबसे अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने वाला सेक्टर रहा, जिसमें 1.5% की बढ़त हुई। इसके बाद निफ्टी मीडिया (+1%), निफ्टी IT (+0.7%) और निफ्टी ऑटो (+0.4%) रहे। निफ्टी FMCG (+0.25%) भी बढ़त के साथ बंद हुआ।

गिरावट वाले सेक्टरों में, निफ्टी रियल्टी का प्रदर्शन सबसे खराब रहा, जिसमें 1% की गिरावट आई। निफ्टी PSU बैंक 0.5% गिरा, इसके बाद निफ्टी मेटल (-0.3%), निफ्टी प्राइवेट बैंक (-0.3%) और निफ्टी बैंक (-0.3%) रहे।

ब्रॉडर मार्केट का प्रदर्शन बेंचमार्क के मुकाबले कमजोर रहा। इसके चलते निफ्टी मिडकैप 100 में 0.4% की गिरावट आई, जबकि निफ्टी स्मॉलकैप 100 लगभग बिना किसी बदलाव के बंद हुआ।

जियोजित इन्वेस्टमेंट्स के हेड ऑफ़ रिसर्च, विनोद नायर का कहना है कि भू-राजनीतिक अनिश्चितताओं, तेल की कीमतों में उतार-चढ़ाव और एशियाई बाजार के कमजोर रुझानों के बीच निवेशकों के सतर्क रुख अपनाने से भारतीय शेयर बाजार में सुस्ती रही। महंगाई की चिंताओं ने फाइनेंशियल और रियल्टी सेक्टर पर दबाव डाला, वहीं कुछ पेट्रोकेमिकल्स पर इंपोर्ट ड्यूटी फिर से लागू होने और मज़बूत कमाई के दम पर केमिकल सेक्टर एक उम्मीद की किरण बनकर उभरा। उधर उम्मीद से कम अमेरिकी महंगाई दर ने ब्याज दरों से जुड़ी चिंताओं को कम किया और बाजार को कुछ सहारा दिया। आगे बाजार की नजर कंपनियों के नतीजों और मैनेजमेंट की टिप्पणियों के साथ-साथ मॉनसून की प्रगति पर रहेगी। इसके अलावा ग्लोबल स्थिति और महंगाई से जुड़ी घटनाएं बाजार की चाल पर असर डालती रहेंगी।

LKP सिक्योरिटीज के टेक्निकल एनालिस्ट वत्सल भुवा का कहना है कि निफ्टी एक सीमित दायरे में ट्रेड कर रहा है, जो न्यूट्रल रुख के साथ कंसोलिडेशन का संकेत है। टेक्निकल तौर पर इंडेक्स को 23,950–24,000 के जोन में मज़बूत सपोर्ट मिलने की उम्मीद है, जबकि 24,250–24,300 का जोन तत्काल रेजिस्टेंस का काम कर सकता है। इसके बाद 24,500 के आसपास एक बड़ी रुकावट हो सकती है।

ऑप्शन चेन डेटा भी 24,000 स्ट्राइक पर सबसे ज्यादा ‘पुट राइटिंग’ का संकेत दे रहा है, जो इसे एक अहम सपोर्ट लेवल के तौर पर मजबूत करता है। मौजूदा टेक्निकल सेटअप को देखते हुए, सपोर्ट के पास गिरावट पर खरीदारी और रेजिस्टेंस के पास उछाल पर बिकवाली की रणनीति सही रहेगी।

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि बैंक निफ्टी इंडेक्स ने डेली चार्ट पर एक छोटी कैंडलस्टिक बनाई है, जो अनिश्चितता का संकेत है क्योंकि इंडेक्स कंसोलिडेशन रेंज में ट्रेड कर रहा है। RSI न्यूट्रल जोन के पास स्थिर है, जो मज़बूत डायरेक्शनल मोमेंटम की कमी का संकेत है। टेक्निकल तौर पर 56,800–57,000 का जोन तत्काल सपोर्ट का काम कर सकता है। जबकि 58,200 का लेवल अहम रेजिस्टेंस का काम कर सकता है।

जब तक कोई निर्णायक ब्रेकआउट या ब्रेकडाउन नहीं होता, तब तक रुख न्यूट्रल रहने की उम्मीद है। इस स्थिति में सपोर्ट के पास ‘बाय-ऑन-डिप्स’ और रेजिस्टेंस के पास ‘सेल-ऑन-राइज़’ की रणनीति फायदेमंद रहेगी।

SBI सिक्योरिटीज में हेड-टेक्निकल और डेरिवेटिव्स रिसर्च सुदीप शाह का कहना है कि आगे निफ्टी के लिए 23960-23930 के पास स्थित 50-डे का EMA जोन तत्काल सपोर्ट का काम करेगा । अगर यह 23930 के लेवल से नीचे जाता है और वहां बना रहता है तो और ज्यादा प्रॉफिट बुकिंग हो सकती है और इंडेक्स 23780 के लेवल तक गिर सकता है, जो अगला अहम सपोर्ट जोन बन सकता है।

ऊपर की तरफ, 24160-24200 की रेंज एक अहम रेजिस्टेंस एरिया बनी हुई है। अगर इंडेक्स इस दीवार को पार कर जाता है, तो मार्केट का सेंटीमेंट बेहतर हो सकता है और और ऊपर जाने का रास्ता खुल सकता है। तब तक, इंडेक्स में एक तय रेंज के अंदर ही ट्रेडिंग होने की संभावना है।
