Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched the Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition at Rs 1.90 crore (ex-showroom, India). This limited-run version borrows inspiration from the original Range Stormer concept showcased at the 2004 Detroit Motor Show, while combining various elements from the Range Rover Sport Autobiography and SV, according to the British luxury automaker. Deliveries of the Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition in India are to start from October 2026.

Yamaha Motor India has begun evaluating additional manufacturing capacity as it expects its existing 1.5 million unit annual output to be fully utilised within the next two to three years. The Japanese two-wheeler maker operates plants in Surajpur, Uttar Pradesh and Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, with a combined annual capacity of 1.5 million units, and is weighing whether to expand within its current footprint or invest at a new location.

New plant requires 3-4 years of lead time; expansion within existing sites also being considered

Hajime Aota, Chairman of the Yamaha Motor India Group, said the company still has space to expand at its existing facilities, reducing the immediate pressure to acquire new land. The decision on expansion – whether at Surajpur, Kanchipuram or elsewhere – will depend on manufacturing processes, supplier allocation and longer-term domestic and export requirements. “At this moment, we have capability and we have space,” Aota said, while noting that planning for a new greenfield facility typically requires a lead time of three to four years.

Yamaha expects its total volumes (including exports) to exceed 1.1 million units in 2026, with domestic sales up 41 percent to 4.1 lakh units in the first half of the year. The company expects H2 volumes to be higher, supported by festive demand and new product launches. On the YZF-R2, which debuted yesterday at Rs 2.30 lakh, Yamaha has set an annual domestic sales target of 50,000 units.

Aota described India and Indonesia as Yamaha’s two biggest global growth engines, with India offering the stronger long-term growth opportunity. However, he noted that India must continue improving manufacturing productivity and technical capabilities to narrow the gap with Indonesia and expand its role in Yamaha’s global manufacturing network. The company employs approximately 10,000 people across its Indian operations and has invested over Rs 2,000 crore in research, development and manufacturing in India over the past eight to ten years. The quantum of investment required for the next phase of expansion has not been disclosed.

भाद्रपद माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की एकादशी तिथि 6 सितंबर को शाम 07:29 बजे शुरू होगी और 7 सितंबर को शाम 5 बजकर 3 मिनट तक रहेगी। उदयातिथि के आधार पर अजा एकादशी का व्रत 7 सितंबर दिन सोमवार को रखा जाएगा। इस व्रत का पारण 8 सितंबर मंगलवार को सुबह में 6 बजकर 2 मिनट से सुबह 8 बजकर 33 मिनट के बीच कर सकते हैं।

सर्वार्थ सिद्धि योग में अजा एकादशी

इस बार की अजा एकादशी पर सर्वार्थ सिद्धि योग शाम को 06 बजकर 14 मिनट पर बनेगा और यह अगले दिन 8 सितंबर को सुबह 06 बजकर 02 मिनट तक रहेगा। व्रत वाले दिन प्रात:काल से लेकर सुबह 06:41 ए एम तक व्यतीपात योग है, उसके बाद से वरीयान् योग बनेगा, जो 8 सितंबर को तड़के 03:38 ए एम तक है, फिर परिघ योग होगा।

अजा एकादशी 2026 मुहूर्त

यदि आपको अजा एकादशी का व्रत रखना है तो पूजा का मुहूर्त सुबह में 06:02 ए एम से 07:36 ए एम तक है, उसके बाद सुबह में 09:10 ए एम से 10:45 ए एम तक है। इस समय में आप भगवान विष्णु की पूजा कर सकते हैं। उस दिन ब्रह्म मुहूर्त 04:31 ए एम से 05:16 ए एम तक है, वहीं अभिजीत मुहूर्त दिन में 11:54 ए एम से दोपहर 12:44 पी एम तक है।

अजा एकादशी महत्व

पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, सत्यवादी राजा हरिश्चंद्र ने अपने खोए हुए राज्य, परिवार और सम्मान को वापस पाने के लिए महर्षि गौतम के सुझाव पर अजा एकादशी का व्रत किया था। इस व्रत के प्रभाव से उन्हें उनका सब कुछ पुनः प्राप्त हो गया था। माना जाता है कि जो व्यक्ति सच्चे मन से अजा एकादशी का व्रत रखता है और भगवान विष्णु की पूजा करता है, उसके समस्त पाप और पूर्व जन्म के बुरे कर्म नष्ट हो जाते हैं। धार्मिक ग्रंथों के अनुसार, इस दिन विधि-विधान से पूजा और व्रत करने से अश्वमेध यज्ञ के समान पुण्य फल की प्राप्ति होती है।

NPS Equity: NPS यानी नेशनल पेंशन सिस्टम में रिटायरमेंट के लिए निवेश के सबसे अच्छे विकल्पों में गिना जाता है। इसमें इक्विटी यानी Scheme E एक अहम विकल्प है। इसमें आपके निवेश का पैसा मुख्य रूप से शेयरों और शेयर से जुड़े इंस्ट्रूमेंट्स में लगाया जाता है।

NPS में इक्विटी में ज्यादा पैसा लगाने के विकल्प भी हैं। Active Choice में निवेशक खुद एसेट अलोकेशन तय कर सकता है। Auto Choice में उम्र के हिसाब से इक्विटी का हिस्सा बदलता रहता है। Multiple Scheme Framework के तहत नॉन गवर्नमेंट सब्सक्राइबर्स के लिए 100% तक इक्विटी का विकल्प भी है।

सिर्फ रिटर्न देखकर फैसला न करें

किसी NPS फंड को चुनते समय सिर्फ रिटर्न देखना ठीक नहीं है। लंबी अवधि का प्रदर्शन देखना जरूरी है। बाजार गिरने पर फंड ने कैसा प्रदर्शन किया, यह भी देखना चाहिए।

इसके अलावा बेंचमार्क से तुलना करें। पोर्टफोलियो और जोखिम भी देखें। रिटायरमेंट के लिए निवेश है, इसलिए सिर्फ पिछले एक साल के अच्छे रिटर्न के पीछे भागना सही नहीं है।

GATE Registration 2027: इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ़ टेक्नोलॉजी (IIT) मद्रास ने ग्रेजुएट एप्टिट्यूड टेस्ट इन इंजीनियरिंग (GATE) 2027 की पंजीकरण शुरू करने की तारीख आगे बढ़ा दी है। पहले से घोषित आवेदन कार्यक्रम में बदलाव के बाद गेट 2027 रजिस्ट्रेशन में और देरी हो गई है। ताजा आधिकारिक घोषणा के मुताबिक, पंजीकरण की नई तारीख जल्द ही जारी की जाएंगी। गेट 2027 के लिए आयोजक संस्था, आईआईटी मद्रास, ऑफिशियल वेबसाइट gate2027.iitm.ac.in पर आवेदन लिंक एक्टिवेट करेगा।

Yamaha is targeting annual sales of 50,000 units for the newly launched R2 in India as it looks to strengthen its position in the country’s premium motorcycle market. The target translates into a monthly run rate of more than 4,000 units, making the R2 an important volume contributor to Yamaha’s premium portfolio rather than a niche model positioned above the R15.

The R2 will be manufactured in India and has been designed for domestic and international markets. Company executives said exports remain part of the R2 programme but will follow after the new model establishes itself in India. The R2 target comes as premium motorcycles grow considerably faster than the broader Indian two-wheeler market. Yamaha outpaced the overall market, with its first-half volumes rising 41 percent to 4.1 lakh units from 2.9 lakh a year earlier. This was nearly twice the 21 percent growth recorded by the broader domestic two-wheeler industry, which expanded to 1.06 crore units.

Premium motorcycles accounted for around one-third of Yamaha’s volumes during the period, while scooters contributed approximately 46 percent. The R2’s annual target translates into average monthly sales of about 4,167 units, or approximately 18 percent of Yamaha’s average monthly premium motorcycle volumes in the first half of 2026, underlining the model’s importance to the company’s growth plans.

Raw material costs may affect growth

The rising costs could lead to price hikes too!

The stronger volume outlook comes with pressure on profitability from rising raw-material costs, particularly aluminium. Hajime Aota, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies, said “I wish I did not have to do it,” referring to a possible further price increase. “But if I am going to sacrifice profitability, I may. That is where we are.”

Yamaha will have to balance higher input costs against the price sensitivity of the Indian market as it seeks to sustain growth through the festive season. The company is also expanding its premium retail network, particularly in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. It expects the Blue Square network to exceed 600 outlets by the end of 2026.

The R2 launch, network expansion and continued growth in premium motorcycles provide Yamaha with momentum for the second half. Reaching more than 11 lakh units in 2026 will also depend on export performance and the company’s ability to manage cost pressures without weakening domestic demand.

FMGE exam 2026: नेशनल बोर्ड ऑफ एग्जामिनेशन इन मेडिकल साइंसेज (NBEMS) ने विदेश से चिकित्सा शिक्षा प्राप्त करने वाले छात्रों के लिए फॉरेन मेडिकल ग्रेजुएट एग्जामिनेशन (FMGE) में कई बड़े और छात्र-हितैषी बदलावों का फैसला किया है। सबसे बड़ी घोषणाओं के अनुसार, अक्टूबर 2026 के आखिर तक एक और एफएमजीई परीक्षा होगी। इससे विदेशी चिकित्सा स्नातकों को परीक्षा जल्दी क्लियर करने का एक और मौका मिलेगा।

यह फैसला एनबीईएमएस अधिकारियों और ऑल इंडिया मेडिकल स्टूडेंट एसोसिएशन, फॉरेन मेडिकल स्टूडेंट विंग (AIMSA-FMSW) के प्रतिनिधियों के बीच हुई बैठक के बाद लिया गया है। एनबीईएमएस के भरोसे के बाद, एआईएमएसए-एफएमएसडब्लू ने अपना विरोध वापस लेने का फैसला किया है। हालांकि एनबीईएमएस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि परीक्षा के न्यूनतम क्वालीफाइंग मार्क्स (300 में से 150 अंक) में कोई छूट या बदलाव नहीं किया जाएगा।

मुख्य बदलाव और राहतें

साल में 3 बार परीक्षा : अब तक साल में केवल 2 बार (जून और दिसंबर) होने वाली यह परीक्षा अगले सत्र से साल में 3 बार (दिसंबर/जनवरी, अप्रैल/मई और अगस्त/सितंबर) आयोजित की जाएगी।

अक्टूबर 2026 में अतिरिक्त मौका : जून 2026 के नतीजों के विरोध और छात्रों के अनशन के बाद एनबीईएमएस ने इसी साल अक्टूबर 2026 के अंत तक एक अतिरिक्त एफएमजीई परीक्षा कराने का निर्णय लिया है।

आसान और संतुलित परीक्षा पैटर्न : प्रश्न पत्र में कठिनाई के स्तर को संतुलित रखा जाएगा, जिसमें 30% आसान, 50% मध्यम और 20% कठिन प्रश्न होंगे।

परीक्षा शुल्क में कटौती : आगामी चक्रों से एफएमजीई की आवेदन फीस को भी कम किया जाएगा।

पारदर्शिता और अतिरिक्त समय

छात्रों को उनके प्रश्न ID, सही उत्तर ID, मार्क्ड रिस्पॉन्स और प्राप्त अंक पोर्टल पर दिखाई देंगे।

बायोमेट्रिक प्रक्रिया में लगे समय की भरपाई के लिए हर सेक्शन में 1 मिनट अतिरिक्त (अधिकतम 3 मिनट प्रति शिफ्ट) का समय दिया जाएगा।

एफएमजीई जून 2026 कानूनी मामले पर अपडेट

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट में चल रहे मामले में, एनबीईएमएस ने बताया कि एफएमजीई जून 2026 परीक्षा में 14 वीडियो-बेस्ड सवाल शामिल किए गए थे। एनबीईएमएस, एफएमजीई से जुड़े मामलों के लिए अपनी शिकायत सुलझाने वाली कमिटी में एफएमजी के एक प्रतिनिधि को शामिल करने के अनुरोध पर भी विचार करेगा। बोर्ड ने यह भी भरोसा दिलाया है कि वह विदेशी मेडिकल ग्रेजुएट्स के साथ अपनी बातचीत बढ़ाएगा।
