The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is launching in India on July 17. It is essentially the drop-top version of the entry-level Amalfi coupe. Save for a new powered open-top setup, the Amalfi Spider’s design is similar to the hardtop version, and it features the same twin-turbo V8 powertrain.

Ferrari Amalfi Spider: What to expect

Except for a soft-top roof, everything else is the same as the non-Spider Amalfi version

Compared to the standard hardtop Amalfi, the drop-top Spider features a fabric roof that can be electronically opened or closed in 13.5 seconds at speeds up to 60kph. The Maranello-based manufacturer says that the fabric top “ensures outstanding thermal and sound insulation.”

Everything else is the same as the standard non-Spider Amalfi. The Ferrari Amalfi Spider gets slim LED headlights, joined by a black band, like other Ferrari cars. The front bumper features air splitters that improve aerodynamics and massive air intakes to cool the internals.

In profile, the Amalfi Spider features 245/35 R20 wheels at the front and 285/35 R20 at the rear. It gets flush-type door handles and a black side splitter.

The rear features slim dual LED taillights and an aggressive diffuser featuring dual exhaust tips on both ends. The Amalfi Spider has an active spoiler with three configurations: Low Drag (LD), Medium Downforce (MD) and High Downforce (HD), which adjust automatically depending on the car’s longitudinal and transverse acceleration.

It offers 255 litres of boot space; with the soft top stowed, it reduces to 172 litres. 

Gets the same interior layout as the hardtop Amalfi

The Ferrari Amalfi Spider’s interior design is the same as the hardtop version’s. It offers a 2+2 seating layout with leather upholstery. The dashboard features a 3-spoke steering wheel with physical controls, a 15.6-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch central touchscreen infotainment system, and an 8.8-inch display for the front passenger.

Other features on the international-spec model include powered front seats, automatic climate control, and a wireless phone charger. On the safety front, it offers a level-2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite, a 360-degree camera system, and a brake-by-wire system that “improves braking efficiency, reduces pedal travel and enhances modulation”.

Under the hood of the Amalfi Spider is a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which churns out 640hp and 760Nm, the same as the standard hard-top version. The front-mid-mounted engine is mated with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) that sends power to the rear wheel. It does a 0-100kph run in 3.3 seconds (claimed), the same as the standard Amalfi, even though it weighs 86kg more. The weight difference is, however, apparent at higher speeds, as the Spider takes 0.4 seconds longer to reach 200kph.

The Ferrari Amalfi is priced at Rs 5.59 crore. However, as Ferrari is accepting orders at reduced prices in anticipation of the upcoming India-EU FTA, the Amalfi Spider is likely to be priced at around Rs 4.5 crore.

Just a day after its global unveiling, the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC– a limited-edition model based on the Speed Twin 1200 RS with upgraded hardware and limited to just 750 units worldwide– has been listed on the Triumph India website at Rs 21 lakh. It becomes only the fifth motorcycle to wear the Triumph Factory Custom (TFC) badge, following the Thruxton TFC, which debuted in 2019.

Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC details

Clip-on handlebars create a sportier riding position than the standard RS

The Speed Twin 1200 TFC is powered by the same 1,200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin as the Speed Twin 1200 RS, producing an identical 105hp at 7,750rpm and 112Nm at 4,250rpm. The standard exhaust system has, however, been replaced by Akrapovič titanium silencers with black detailing and carbon-fibre end caps.

The more significant changes lie in the chassis and ergonomics. The bike gets clip-on handlebars, giving it a more aggressive and committed riding position. Suspension duties are handled by Öhlins components, with a USD fork up front and twin rear shock absorbers. While braking hardware has been carried over with a Brembo Stylema M4.30 front brake caliper, the TFC adds a Brembo MCS adjustable front brake lever. The Speed Twin 1200 TFC tips the scales at 214kg (wet), making it 2kg lighter than the standard RS.

The electronics package has been carried over unchanged and includes a bidirectional quickshifter, three riding modes, cornering ABS and traction control.

The bike is available exclusively in an Obsidian Gold paint scheme, combining a metallic black base with gold metallic detailing and carbon-fibre bodywork for the mudguards, side panels and heel plates. It also gets a hand-stitched single-piece seat. Each motorcycle features a laser-etched edition number on the billet aluminium top yoke alongside the TFC emblem, while buyers also receive a Certificate of Authenticity, a branded bike cover and a waterproof seat cover.

Triumph India has been notably quick to bring global models to our market, including limited-run collector’s editions like this one. The Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer Edition, limited to 800 units worldwide, was also listed for India, and the arrival of the Speed Twin 1200 TFC continues that trend for enthusiasts looking for something highly exclusive.

River Indie posts best-ever monthly sales in June 2026

The River Indie has registered its highest-ever monthly retail sales of 4,436 units in June 2026, surpassing its previous best of 4,273 units recorded in March 2026. Cumulative sales since the scooter’s launch in October 2023 now stand at 43,805 units as of the end of June. The strong performance has also pushed the Bengaluru-based startup to seventh place in the monthly electric two-wheeler OEM rankings, up from eighth earlier this year.

The Indie’s sales trajectory tells a clear story of accelerating growth. After relatively modest volumes in its first two years, River Mobility delivered 17,020 Indies in 2025, enough to rank ninth among electric two-wheeler manufacturers for the year. The momentum has continued into 2026, with 9,607 units delivered in Q1 (January-March), 62 percent higher than Q4 2025. Q2 (April-June) added a further 11,776 units.

The 23,722 units delivered in the first six months of 2026 already account for 54 percent of the Indie’s cumulative sales since launch. At its current pace, River Mobility appears on course to cross 50,000 annual sales for the first time this year.

The Indie is priced at Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), putting it on par with higher-capacity variants of popular electric scooters such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Ather Rizta. It’s a large, comfortable and practical scooter focused on everyday utility rather than outright features, with a generous 43 litres of underseat storage– the largest offered on any electric scooter currently on sale in India.

River Mobility manufactures both the Indie and the Yamaha EC-06 at its plant in Hoskote, Karnataka, which has an annual production capacity of 1,20,000 units. The company is also understood to be evaluating a second manufacturing facility ahead of the planned rollout of two new models in the first quarter of 2027.

इंग्लैंड ने जो रूट (नाबाद 76) और लियाम डासन (68) ने बेहतरीन अर्धशतकों से नाजुक स्थिति से उबरते हुए 47.5 ओवर में 258 रन का स्कोर बनाया। लेकिन भारत ने 45.2 ओवर में चार विकेट पर 262 रन बनाकर जीत अपने नाम की। भारत इससे पहले आयरलैंड में दो टी20 और इंग्लैंड में लगातार चार टी20 हार गया था। भारत ने इस वनडे में शानदार जीत से लगातार हार का सिलसिला तोड़ दिया।

तीन दिनों की स्थिरता के बाद फिसली चांदी

चांदी की बात करें तो लगातार तीन दिनों की स्थिरता के बाद आज इसके भाव नीचे आए हैं। तीन दिनों की स्थिरता से पहले एक किलो चांदी 11 जुलाई को ₹5 हजार सस्ती हुई थी तो 10 जुलाई को ₹5 हजार महंगी और ₹9 जुलाई को ₹10 हजार सस्ती हुई थी। अब आज की बात करें तो दिल्ली में एक किलो चांदी ₹100 सस्ती होकर ₹2,34,900 के भाव में बिक रही है। बाकी अहम महानगरों की बात करें तो मुंबई, कोलकाता और चेन्नई में भी यह इसी भाव पर बिक रही है यानी देश के चारों बड़े महानगरों में चांदी समान भाव पर बिक रही है।

इस कारण है दबाव

एलकेपी सिक्योरिटीज में वाइस प्रेसिडेंट (कमोडिटी & करेंसी रिसर्च एनालिस्ट) जतिन त्रिवेदी का कहना है कि अमेरिकी फेडरल रिजर्व की ओर से 2026 में एक बार ब्याज दर बढ़ाने के संकेत मिलने के बाद सोने पर दबाव बढ़ गया है। इससे अमेरिकी डॉलर मजबूत हुआ है और सोने जैसे ऐसे एसेट्स की चमक कुछ कम हुई है, जो कोई ब्याज नहीं देतीं। फेड के सख्त रुख के बाद बुलियन बाजार में बड़े पैमाने पर मुनाफावसूली भी देखने को मिली है।

IT Stocks

आईटी सेक्टर की कंपनियों Infosys और Wipro के ADR में मंगलवार को गिरावट देखने को मिली। इसकी वजह अमेरिकी टेक कंपनी IBM के कमजोर तिमाही नतीजे रहे। इसका असर बुधवार को घरेलू बाजार में Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCLTech जैसी भारतीय आईटी कंपनियों के शेयरों पर दिख सकता है।

Tata Elxsi

टाटा ग्रुप की कंपनी Tata Elxsi का जून तिमाही में शुद्ध मुनाफा सालाना आधार पर 18.2% बढ़कर ₹170.6 करोड़ हो गया। रेवेन्यू भी पहली बार ₹1,000 करोड़ के पार पहुंच गया। इससे पहले कंपनी ने तिमाही नतीजों में बेहतर ग्रोथ दर्ज की थी।

L&T Technology Services

आईटी कंपनी L&T Technology Services (LTTS) ने जून तिमाही के नतीजे जारी किए हैं। कंपनी का रेवेन्यू, मार्जिन और कॉन्स्टेंट करेंसी ग्रोथ बाजार के अनुमान से थोड़ा बेहतर रहा। वहीं, मुनाफा अनुमान के लगभग बराबर रहा।

Anand Rathi Shares & Stock Brokers

ब्रोकिंग और वेल्थ मैनेजमेंट कंपनी Anand Rathi Shares & Stock Brokers ने FY27 की शुरुआत अच्छी की है। जून तिमाही में कंपनी का शुद्ध मुनाफा 2.2% बढ़ा। वहीं, नेट इंटरेस्ट इनकम, मार्जिन फंडिंग और एसेट्स अंडर मैनेजमेंट (AUM) में मजबूत बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई।

ICICI Bank

प्राइवेट सेक्टर के ICICI Bank ने कहा है कि 18 जुलाई को होने वाली बोर्ड बैठक में विदेशी बाजारों से फंड जुटाने की सीमा बढ़ाने पर विचार होगा। इसके तहत बैंक बॉन्ड, नोट्स और ऑफशोर सर्टिफिकेट ऑफ डिपॉजिट जारी कर पूंजी जुटा सकेगा।

IDBI Bank

सरकारी बैंक IDBI Bank ने कहा है कि वह Fairfax Financial की संशोधित बोली से जुड़ी मीडिया रिपोर्ट की पुष्टि या खंडन नहीं कर सकता। बैंक ने कहा कि रणनीतिक विनिवेश (Strategic Disinvestment) की प्रक्रिया गोपनीय है। यह सफाई शेयर कीमत में हलचल के बाद NSE की ओर से मांगे गए जवाब के बाद दी गई।

Axis Bank

प्राइवेट सेक्टर के Axis Bank ने बताया कि उसकी सब्सिडियरी Axis Finance में प्रेफरेंशियल इश्यू पूरा हो गया है। इसके बाद बैंक की हिस्सेदारी घटकर 94.92% रह गई है। हालांकि, हिस्सेदारी कम होने के बावजूद Axis Bank कंपनी की होल्डिंग कंपनी बना रहेगा।

Capacit’e Infraprojects

इंजीनियरिंग और इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर कंपनी Capacit’e Infraprojects को मुंबई के महालक्ष्मी इलाके में सुपर हाई-राइज टावर T5 के निर्माण का ₹482 करोड़ का ऑर्डर मिला है। इस प्रोजेक्ट में बेसमेंट, पोडियम, क्लबहाउस, सर्विस फ्लोर, पेंटहाउस और टेरेस समेत सिविल निर्माण का काम शामिल है।

DEN Networks

केबल टीवी और ब्रॉडबैंड कंपनी DEN Networks ने जून तिमाही के नतीजे जारी किए हैं। कंपनी का शुद्ध मुनाफा सालाना आधार पर ₹54 करोड़ से घटकर ₹37 करोड़ रह गया। हालांकि, रेवेन्यू में मामूली बढ़त रही और यह ₹241.3 करोड़ से बढ़कर ₹242.8 करोड़ हो गया।

Delhivery

लॉजिस्टिक्स कंपनी Delhivery को बड़ी मंजूरी मिली है। RBI ने उसकी सब्सिडियरी Delhivery Financial Services को NBFC-ND (Type II) के तौर पर काम करने की अनुमति दे दी है। इससे कंपनी अब फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज कारोबार को आगे बढ़ा सकेगी।

Kirloskar Brothers

पंप बनाने वाली इंजीनियरिंग कंपनी Kirloskar Brothers की ब्रिटेन स्थित सब्सिडियरी SPP Pumps को बड़ा अंतरराष्ट्रीय ऑर्डर मिला है। कंपनी को Saipem Offshore Construction से 11.67 मिलियन पाउंड (करीब ₹149.59 करोड़) का ऑर्डर मिला है। इसके तहत वर्टिकल पंप और स्पेयर पार्ट्स की सप्लाई की जाएगी।

IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals

फार्मा कंपनी IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals को चीन से बड़ी मंजूरी मिली है। कंपनी के Clopidogrel Bisulfate API को चीन की National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) से मंजूरी मिल गई है। इससे कंपनी के निर्यात कारोबार को मजबूती मिल सकती है।

ऑनलाइन ट्रैवल कंपनी Easy Trip Planners (EaseMyTrip) ने झारखंड सरकार के पर्यटन विभाग के साथ समझौता किया है। इस साझेदारी के तहत डिजिटल कैंपेन के जरिए राज्य के पर्यटन को बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा। साथ ही देशभर के यात्रियों के बीच झारखंड की पहचान मजबूत करने पर काम होगा।

अब देश को मिलेगी पहली सरकारी AI यूनिवर्सिटी! जानिए इसे लेकर क्या हुआ ऐलान, कैसी है तैयारी

AI university in India: आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) के क्षेत्र में भारत एक नया इतिहास रचने जा रहा है। देश को जल्द ही अपनी पहली सरकारी एआई यूनिवर्सिटी मिलने वाली है। कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री डीके शिवकुमार ने मंगलवार (14 जुलाई) को यह बड़ा ऐलान किया कि राज्य देश की पहली सरकारी स्तर की आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस यूनिवर्सिटी स्थापित करेगा।

मुख्यमंत्री ने यह महत्वपूर्ण घोषणा बेंगलुरु में आयोजित Google I/O Connect India 2026 के उद्घाटन के दौरान की। इस कार्यक्रम में देश और दुनिया भर से टेक्नोलॉजी लीडर्स, इनोवेटर्स, एंटरप्रेन्योर्स, डेवलपर्स, रिसर्चर्स और पॉलिसी मेकर्स हिस्सा ले रहे हैं।

एआई यूनिवर्सिटी और AI Hub की होगी स्थापना

पीटीआई की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, सीएम डीके शिवकुमार ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार जिम्मेदार एआई इनोवेशन के मामले में कर्नाटक को एक वैश्विक लीडर बनाना चाहती है। इसके लिए दो बड़े कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं। पहला सरकारी एआई यूनिवर्सिटी बनाई जाएगी। यह प्रस्तावित यूनिवर्सिटी विश्व स्तरीय एआई टैलेंट तैयार करने, रिसर्च को आगे बढ़ाने और अकादमिक जगत, इंडस्ट्री एवं सरकार के बीच सहयोग को मजबूत करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगी।

दूसरा AI Hub भी स्थापित होगा जो स्टार्टअप्स, कंपनियों और अन्य संस्थानों द्वारा एआई के क्षेत्र में रिसर्च और डेवलपमेंट के लिए एक इनक्यूबेशन सेंटर के रूप में काम करेगा। सीएम ने आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस की तुलना भाप के इंजन, बिजली, इंटरनेट और मोबाइल टेक्नोलॉजी से करते हुए कहा कि यह इस पीढ़ी की सबसे बड़ी तकनीकी क्रांति है।

आईटी सेक्टर में कर्नाटक की मजबूत हिस्सेदारी

बेंगलुरु और कर्नाटक के मौजूदा तकनीकी दबदबे को बताते हुए सीएम डीके शिवकुमार ने कुछ बेहद महत्वपूर्ण आंकड़े भी साझा किए। उन्होंने बताया कि भारत के कुल सॉफ्टवेयर निर्यात में अकेले कर्नाटक की हिस्सेदारी लगभग 40 प्रतिशत है। बेंगलुरु वर्तमान में 17000 से अधिक स्टार्टअप्स और हजारों ग्लोबल कैपेबिलिटी सेंटर्स का घर है जो वैश्विक बाजार के लिए प्रोडक्ट्स डिजाइन और इंजीनियर करते हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार का उद्देश्य राज्य को एक AI-native राज्य बनाना है। ऐसा राज्य जहां एआई केवल एक तकनीकी नारा बनकर न रहे बल्कि इसका इस्तेमाल सुशासन और लोगों के रोजमर्रा के जीवन को बेहतर बनाने के लिए जिम्मेदारी से किया जाए।

इन 5 क्षेत्रों में गूगल के साथ साझेदारी का न्योता

मुख्यमंत्री शिवकुमार ने कर्नाटक के साथ दो दशकों से अधिक समय की गूगल की साझेदारी की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि सर्च, एंड्रॉयड, यूट्यूब, मैप्स, क्रोम, जीमेल और गूगल पे जैसे गूगल के प्रोडक्ट्स ने भारतीयों के ज्ञान प्राप्त करने, व्यापार करने और सरकारी सेवाओं के साथ जुड़ने के तरीके को पूरी तरह से बदल दिया है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने गूगल को शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, कृषि, जलवायु अनुकूलन, अर्बन मोबिलिटी और सुशासन के लिए एआई समाधान बनाने में सहयोग करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया। उन्होंने सहयोग के लिए 5 प्रमुख क्षेत्रों का खाका पेश किया:-

1- एआई टूल्स का विकास: शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य सेवा, कृषि और छोटे व्यवसायों के लिए विशेष एआई टूल्स विकसित करना।

2- भारतीय स्टार्टअप्स को सपोर्ट: बड़े पैमाने पर भारतीय चुनौतियों का समाधान खोजने वाले स्टार्टअप्स को सहायता देना।

3- एआई लर्निंग का विस्तार: पूरे कर्नाटक में छात्रों के लिए एआई सीखने के अवसरों को बढ़ाना।

4- ग्लोबल लैबोरेटरी बनाना: कर्नाटक को जिम्मेदार टेक्नोलॉजी के लिए एक वैश्विक प्रयोगशाला के रूप में स्थापित करना।

5- लॉन्ग-टर्म पार्टनरशिप: इकोसिस्टम पार्टनर के रूप में गूगल की दीर्घकालिक प्रतिबद्धता को और गहरा करना।

भविष्य के लिए डिजिटल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर की तैयारी

कर्नाटक सरकार देश के इस तकनीकी हब के रूप में अपनी स्थिति को और मजबूत करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। इसके लिए राज्य सरकार डेटा सेंटर्स सहित अपने डिजिटल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर का विस्तार जारी रखेगी ताकि एआई इनोवेशन, क्लाउड कंप्यूटिंग और अगली पीढ़ी की डिजिटल सेवाओं को जरूरी सपोर्ट मिल सके।

समारोह के अंत में डेवलपर्स और युवाओं को प्रोत्साहित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि तकनीकी क्रांतियां हमेशा जिज्ञासा और ‘क्या हम इसे अलग तरीके से कर सकते हैं?’ पूछने की इच्छा से शुरू होती हैं। उन्होंने डेवलपर्स को निडर होकर निर्माण करने, उद्यमियों को बड़े सपने देखने और शोधकर्ताओं को नवाचार जारी रखने का आग्रह किया।

The Jaecoo J5 SUV has been spied testing in an ICE avatar for the first time in India. Interestingly, the latest spy shots suggest the Jaecoo J5 could launch in India with an ICE powertrain, whereas earlier sightings pointed to an all-electric (EV) version only. The new exterior and interior spy shots of the ICE-powered Jaecoo J5 reveal some visible differences from the EV version.

  1. A functional grille, all-LED lighting and 18-inch alloy wheels can be seen
  2. An all-black cabin with a vertically mounted infotainment system was spotted
  3. Offered with a turbo-petrol and strong hybrid petrol internationally

In India, JSW Motors will launch its own standalone SUV based on the Jaecoo J5 under a technology and component licensing agreement with Chery, the Chinese automaker that owns the Jaecoo brand.

Jaecoo J5-based ICE SUV spied: What was spotted?

Although the Jaecoo J5-based SUV’s test mule is heavily camouflaged, a few design elements are visible. Among these is a functional grille with vertical slats, confirming it is the ICE version, as the EV features a blanked-off grille. The sleek LED headlights with LED DRL surrounds, however, are the same as those on the EV version. The bumper has a clean design, but it seems to miss out on the fog lamps offered with the international model.

In profile, the international-spec model gets 18-inch wheels. At the rear, slim wraparound LED taillights can be spotted. On the international model, these taillights are joined by a black trim with ‘Jaecoo’ badging in the centre.

The interior design mimics that of the all-electric model

The spy shots also reveal a large vertically oriented infotainment system on the dashboard, likely the same as the international model’s 13.2-inch unit. The international model also gets an 8.8-inch driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-speaker Sony sound system, dual-zone climate control, a powered tailgate and a wireless phone charger. It will be interesting to see what features are offered with the India-spec model sold by JSW Motors.

In terms of safety, the international model gets 7 airbags, a 540-degree camera (surround-view camera with an under-bonnet view function), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite. 

Jaecoo J5-based ICE SUV: Expected powertrain

Offered with a turbo-petrol and a strong hybrid petrol engine internationally

Depending on the market, the ICE-powered Jaecoo J5 gets either a turbo-petrol or a strong-hybrid engine option. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol produces up to 156hp and 275Nm, and is mated to either a 7-speed DCT or a CVT, depending on the market. It allows for a 0-100kph sprint time of 10.2 seconds 

A strong-hybrid version has a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine and an electric motor powered by a 1.83 kWh lithium-ion battery. Combined, this setup produces 224hp and 295Nm. It does a 0-100kph sprint in 7.9 seconds. Jaecoo claims a fuel efficiency of 18.9kpl, allowing a total range of around 1,000km. It will be interesting to see which powertrain option is offered with the India-spec model.

India launch timeline is yet to be revealed

JSW Motors is expected to start its India operations with the Diwali launch of the Jetour T2-derived hybrid SUV, followed by launches of the SUVs derived from the Jaecoo J5 and iCaur V23. Upon launch, JSW Motors’ Jaecoo J5-based ICE SUV will lock horns with midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Renault Duster and Nissan Tekton. The EV version will rival the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Sierra EV, Vinfast VF6 and Maruti Suzuki eVitara.

Hero MotoCorp‘s upcoming Karizma XMR 250 has been spotted without camouflage ahead of its India launch. First unveiled at EICMA 2024 before making its Indian debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the fully faired motorcycle now appears to be in production-ready form, suggesting its market launch is drawing closer.

Hero Karizma XMR 250 spied: What’s new?

While the overall silhouette remains familiar, the Karizma XMR 250 features a handful of visual updates over the existing XMR 210. The projector LED headlamp and boomerang-shaped DRLs appear to have been carried over, but the surrounding fairing extends further beneath the headlamp, giving the front end a sharper, more aggressive appearance. It also retains the tall windscreen and integrated winglets first seen on the show bike.

In profile, the XMR 250 wears bolder graphics than the XMR 210, whose fairing has a comparatively simpler, single-tone finish. It is also equipped with gold-finished USD forks, a sculpted fuel tank, clip-on handlebars mounted above the top yoke and split seats. Unlike the Xtreme 250R, which uses a rear tyre hugger-mounted number plate holder, the Karizma XMR 250 retains a conventional tail-mounted number plate bracket.

Interestingly, while the Karizma XMR 250 showcased at EICMA 2024 wore a white-and-red paint scheme with similar graphics, the motorcycle seen here sports a black base colour. This hints that Hero could offer the new Karizma in at least two colour options at launch, although additional paint schemes cannot be ruled out.

Hero Karizma XMR 250 engine details:

Unlike the current Karizma XMR, which is powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 25.5hp and 20.4Nm, the XMR 250 uses Hero’s new 250cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder engine shared with the Xtreme 250R. The motor produces 30hp and 25Nm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
 

Having recently ridden the Xtreme 250R, we found this engine to be among the quicker performers in the segment, delivering brisk acceleration and a strong mid-range. The Karizma XMR 250 is expected to pair this powertrain with the same trellis frame and feature a TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation, full-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS and a USB charging port.

Karizma XMR 250 launch details:

With the production-spec motorcycle now surfacing undisguised, Hero could launch the Karizma XMR 250 in the weeks ahead. Prices are expected to start at over Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it above the current Karizma XMR 210, which is priced from Rs 1.86 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will become Hero MotoCorp’s flagship faired motorcycle and rival the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, KTM RC 200 and the upcoming Yamaha R2.
