JSW MG has teased its upcoming new SUV for India, which is to be called the Hector Tomahawk, our sources have indicated. The official launch date is set for August 26, 2026. Sold as the Wuling Eksion in the Indonesian market, the upcoming Hector Tomahawk will sit atop JSW MG’s new ADAPT (Advanced Drive Architecture Platform Technology) platform. The Hector Tomahawk will be launched as a fully electric model first, and will be slotted above the Hector in the brand’s line-up in India.

The teaser offers a few important design details on the outside of this upcoming MG SUV

The official teaser confirms the rectangular LED headlamps first seen in spy shots. It also reveals details like the twin-element LED DRLs (daytime running lights) at the front and rear of the Hector Tomahawk. Observable details here also include the silver-finished alloy wheels, black plastic cladding under the doors, pronounced front fenders, pull-type door handles, prominent roof rails and wraparound LED tail-lamps. It’s clear from the teaser that the Hector Tomahawk sports chrome garnish along the windowline, plus a relatively flat roofline that leads to a roof spoiler.

In terms of dimensions, the JSW MG Hector Tomahawk is likely to have similar dimensions as the Wuling Eksion 7-seater that’s sold in Indonesia. For reference, the latter measures 4,745mm in length, 1,850mm in width, 1,755mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,9810mm. Its two-tone exterior colour options are likely to be offered in our market, too.

Apart from the exterior, the brand’s latest teaser also confirms a few details upcoming Hector Tomahawk’s interior. For starters, we now know that there will be 7 seats on offer, with a bench-style arrangement for the second row. The teaser also shows a beige colour theme for this cabin, along with a panoramic sunroof as part of the equipment that’ll be on offer. While more details are to be confirmed, the Hector Tomahawk EV could share much of the rest of its design and feature set with the Wuling Eksion. This means a minimalistic cabin with physical switchgear on and behind the two-spoke steering wheel, on the centre console and the doors.

Depending on the trim level, the equipment on offer include a powered tailgate, leatherette upholstery, powered and ventilated front seats, a 12.8-inch touch-infotainment head unit, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, a 50-watt wireless charger, automatic climate control with AC vents for the second and third rows, a 360-degree camera system, an electronic parking brake, six airbags, and an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite, among others.

ADAPT platform supports battery-electric, plug-in hybrid, range-extender and strong-hybrid powertrains

While JSW MG is likely to reveal the Hector Tomahawk PHEV (plug-in hybrid) on August 26 as well, the brand’s teaser suggests that the ADAPT-based SUV will be introduced in its EV avatar first. The fully electric version of the Wuling Eksion EV that’s available in Indonesia is equipped with a single front-mounted electric motor that generates 201hp and 310Nm, allowing a claimed top speed of 160kph. It’s backed by a 69.2kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery pack with a CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) range of up to 530km.

The Hector Tomahawk PHEV is also likely to share its powertrain setup with its Eksion counterpart. For reference, the latter comes with a single electric motor that produces up to 195hp and 230Nm on its own, while the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine puts out 105hp and 130Nm. There’s also a 20.5kWh battery pack in the equation, and the maximum all-electric range of the Eksion PHEV is a claimed 125km. JSW MG’s ADAPT platform is capable of supporting battery-electric, plug-in hybrid, range-extender and strong-hybrid powertrains.

Bajaj Auto has expanded the Pulsar N160 range with the launch of the Pulsar N160 S and Pulsar N160 SS, priced at Rs 1.34 lakh and Rs 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. The biggest update is the new 164.5cc single-cylinder oil-cooled 4-valve engine, which produces 18.5hp at 9,500rpm and 14.5Nm at 8,000rpm. Compared to the outgoing 2-valve motor’s 16hp and 14.65Nm, power is up by 2.5hp, while torque drops marginally by 0.25Nm.

The electronic throttle enables Road, Rain, Sport and Off-road ride modes, along with Crawl Technology similar to what we see on KTM bikes, which allows the motorcycle to move at low speeds in higher gears with minimal clutch input. Hyundai has launched the 2026 Exter Knight edition, with prices starting from Rs 8.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available with all petrol and CNG variants of the HX 6, and the petrol-AMT variant of the HX 10 trim. The Exter Knight gets additional black exterior design elements and an all-black cabin at an additional Rs 15,000.

2026 Hyundai Exter Knight edition: What’s new?

Gets some black and dark grey elements outside

While the overall silhouette of the Exter Knight edition is identical to the standard model, Hyundai has added dark elements to give a sportier look to the SUV. These include blacked-out Hyundai logos and Exter lettering at the front and rear, and dark grey garnish on the front and rear bumpers. The Exter Knight gets the same 15-inch rims, but with a black or dark grey finish, depending on the variant. To add contrast, Hyundai has equipped it with red brake callipers on the front wheels. At the rear, it gets a ‘Knight’ badge on the tailgate.

The Exter Knight edition is available in five exterior shades: Titanium Black, Atlas White, Starry Night, Titan Grey and Golden Bronze. Notably, it is not available in the Ranger Khaki colour option, which is offered with the standard model.

Gets an all-black cabin theme with brass accents

Inside, the Exter Knight’s dashboard design is the same as the standard model, but it gets an all-black finish with brass-coloured accents, compared to the standard model’s navy and grey interior theme. It also gets amber-coloured footwell lighting, which is blue on the standard variants. The seats on the Knight edition feature black fabric upholstery.

The feature suite is the same as the corresponding variants – the HX 6 gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a single-pane sunroof, powered outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), automatic climate control with rear vents, and a rear parking camera with sensors. The HX 10 adds a wireless phone charger, a cooled glovebox, connected car technology, and a rear wiper and washer to the feature mix.

As mentioned earlier, the Exter Knight is offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 83hp and 114Nm, and a CNG option that puts out 69hp and 95Nm. The petrol engine gets an option between a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT), while the CNG is available only with the manual gearbox.

Yokohama launches Geolandar X-CV tyre range

Yokohama India has launched the Geolandar X-CV tyre range for crossover and premium SUVs. Originally developed for larger luxury SUVs, the locally manufactured Geolandar X-CV is now being offered in 16-inch wheel sizes for the first time, expanding its reach to compact and midsize SUVs. The range will eventually be available in 32 sizes spanning 16 to 20 inches, with 17 sizes available immediately and the remaining 15 sizes set to be introduced over the next two to three months. Yokohama claims the new tyre delivers 20 percent better wet grip and 10 percent longer tyre life than its conventional tyre, based on the company’s internal testing.

The Geolandar X-CV has been developed for a wide range of crossover and premium SUVs. Yokohama says it is suitable for compact and midsize models such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon EV, Harrier EV, Mahindra XUV700 and Kia Seltos, while also catering to luxury SUVs including the BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne, Volvo XC90, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q7 and Range Rover models.

Yokohama Geolandar X-CV: features

According to Yokohama, the Geolandar X-CV has been developed to meet the requirements of crossover SUVs and electric vehicles. It features an asymmetric tread pattern, four wide circumferential grooves, Micro Silica compound, 2D and 3D sipes, five-pitch variation technology, a reinforced two-ply sidewall and a full nylon cover. The company says these technologies are designed to improve wet grip, cornering stability, braking performance, wear characteristics, durability, high-speed stability and cabin refinement.

The tyre is also EV-compatible, with its construction designed to handle the higher weight and instant torque characteristics of electric SUVs while maintaining durability and driving refinement. The Geolandar X-CV will be available from August 2026 through Yokohama Club Network outlets and select authorised dealers, with a no-cost EMI offer available at launch.

Jaguar has revealed the interior of the upcoming Type 01 electric GT. The Type 01’s cabin is inspired by the Type 00 concept on which it is based, and is as radical as its exterior design. Jaguar will debut the production-spec Type 01 in New York on October 6.

Jaguar’s “hidden on-demand technology” is integrated into the EV’s architecture.

The interior design of the Jaguar Type 01 concept takes inspiration from the Type 00 concept, calling it “a concept car vision brought to production”. The production-spec model features a ‘central spine’ spanning the length of the cabin and divides it into four individual segments – one each for every passenger. This central spine has a brass finish and features a small screen at the front for operating the climate controls. This AC control screen and another display on the dashboard are being called “hidden on-demand technology”, which, Jaguar says, is integrated into the EV’s architecture.

Strikethrough elements on the dashboard are similar to those on the bonnet’s top lip.

The interior features a 2-spoke steering wheel with touch-enabled buttons and a distinct dashboard design for the driver and front passenger areas. There’s a digital screen in front of the driver and ‘strikethrough’ elements in front of the co-driver. Similar ‘strikethrough’ design elements are also present on the top lip of the bonnet to fuse the Type 01’s exterior and interior design.

A low swooping roof can also be seen with panoramic glass, which is likely to feature customisable lighting patterns. The Jaguar Type 01 does not feature a rear windscreen but digital rearview cameras instead. It features four seats with a dual-tone upholstery.

The doors sport the same brass finish as the central spine but additionally feature Jaguar’s ‘leaper’ logo. Jaguar says that the Type 01’s interior is inspired by travertine stone (a type of natural limestone) and textures of artisan textiles for a “deeply sensorial experience”.

The Jaguar Type 01 will debut in New York on October 6, 2026, as the luxury marque’s first car after its ‘reinvention’ as an all-electric brand. Samsung Galaxy S26 FE के सितंबर में लॉन्च होने की उम्मीद है और इससे पहले ही इसके सभी स्पेसिफिकेशन्स लीक हो गए हैं। उम्मीद है कि इस ‘फैन एडिशन’ मॉडल का डिजाइन Galaxy S26 सीरीज जैसा ही होगा, लेकिन इसमें पिछले साल के Galaxy S25 वाला Exynos 2500 चिपसेट इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा। WinFuture.de की एक नई रिपोर्ट में फोन के डिस्प्ले, कैमरे, बैटरी, कनेक्टिविटी, साइज और स्टोरेज ऑप्शन के बारे में पूरी जानकारी दी गई है। उम्मीद है कि इस फोन में 6.7-इंच का AMOLED डिस्प्ले, 4,900mAh की बैटरी, 45W चार्जिंग और Samsung के One UI के साथ Android 17 होगा।

WinFuture.de की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, Samsung के आने वाले Galaxy S26 FE में 6.7-इंच का Dynamic AMOLED 2X पैनल होगा, जिसका रिजॉल्यूशन 2,340×1,080 पिक्सल और रिफ्रेश रेट 120Hz तक हो सकता है। जबकि सामान्य स्थितियों में ब्राइटनेस 1,200 निट्स और हाई-ब्राइटनेस मोड में 1,900 निट्स तक पहुंचने की उम्मीद है।

उम्मीद है कि इस हैंडसेट में Exynos 2500 चिपसेट का इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा। Samsung ने Galaxy S25 में भी इसी चिपसेट का इस्तेमाल किया था। इसमें 10 CPU कोर हैं और यह 3.3GHz तक की स्पीड दे सकता है। खबरों के मुताबिक, इस प्रोसेसर के साथ 8GB RAM होगी और 128GB व 256GB स्टोरेज के ऑप्शन भी होंगे। इसके अलावा, यह फोन Android 17 पर आधारित One UI 9 के साथ आ सकता है।

Galaxy S26 FE में फोटोग्राफी के लिए मुख्य रूप से 50MP का प्राइमरी कैमरा होने की उम्मीद है, जिसमें f/1.8 अपर्चर और हार्डवेयर इमेज स्टेबलाइजेशन की सुविधा होगी। इसके रियर कैमरा सेटअप में f/2.2 अल्ट्रा-वाइड कैमरा और 3x ऑप्टिकल जूम व f/2.4 अपर्चर वाला 8MP का टेलीफ़ोटो सेंसर भी शामिल हो सकता है। वहीं, सेल्फी के लिए सामने की तरफ 12MP का f/2.2 कैमरा होने की उम्मीद है, हालांकि इसमें ऑटोफोकस की सुविधा नहीं होगी। वीडियो रिकॉर्डिंग की बात करें तो रियर कैमरों से 30fps पर 8K वीडियो रिकॉर्ड किया जा सकता है। वहीं, 4K वीडियो 60fps तक रिकॉर्ड करने का विकल्प मिल सकता है।

कनेक्टिविटी के लिए, Galaxy S26 FE फोन में Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6 और NFC का सपोर्ट मिलने की उम्मीद है। Samsung इसमें दो नैनो-सिम स्लॉट के साथ-साथ एक या दो eSIM का सपोर्ट भी दे सकता है। इसके अलावा, इस हैंडसेट में धूल और पानी से बचाव के लिए IP68 रेटिंग भी होने की उम्मीद है।

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE में 45W वायर्ड चार्जिंग सपोर्ट के साथ 4,900mAh की बैटरी हो सकती है। आम इस्तेमाल में इसका बैटरी बैकअप 50 घंटे तक का बताया जा रहा है, जबकि EPREL क्लासिफिकेशन के तहत इसकी बैटरी को 1,200 चार्जिंग साइकल के लिए रेट किया गया है। रिपोर्ट में यह भी कहा गया है कि Samsung इसमें सिलिकॉन-कार्बन सेल का इस्तेमाल कर सकता है।

फोन के वजन की बात करें तो Galaxy S26 FE का वजन करीब 193 ग्राम हो सकता है, जबकि इसकी मोटाई 7.4mm रहने की उम्मीद है। Samsung इस फोन को Graphite, Pistachio और Blueberry कलर ऑप्शन में पेश कर सकता है। इनमें Graphite को डार्क ग्रे, Pistachio को हल्का हरा और Blueberry को हल्का नीला रंग बताया गया है।

इसका डिजाइन देखें तो Galaxy S26 FE का लुक Galaxy S26 सीरीज के बाकी मॉडल्स जैसा ही रहने की उम्मीद है।

बता दें कि Samsung सितंबर की शुरुआत में Galaxy S26 FE लॉन्च कर सकता है। पहले आई लीक रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, यूरोप में इसकी कीमत EUR 799 (लगभग 88,000 रुपये) हो सकती है। रिपोर्ट में यह भी कहा गया है कि मौजूदा कीमत पर Galaxy S26 Plus एक बेहतर विकल्प हो सकता है। यह मॉडल लगभग EUR 700 (लगभग 77,100 रुपये) में मिल सकता है और इसमें ज्यादा स्टोरेज, बेहतर डिस्प्ले और ज्यादा दमदार कैमरे जैसे फीचर्स मिल सकते हैं।

‘द मैक ऑब्जर्वर’ की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, लॉन्च से पहले Motorola Edge 70 Neo के लीक हुए रेंडर सामने आए हैं, जिनमें इसका डिजाइन और चार कलर ऑप्शन दिखाई दे रहे हैं। तस्वीरों में पतले बेजल और बीच में पंच-होल कैमरे वाली फ्लैट डिस्प्ले दिख रही है, जबकि पिछले हिस्से में तीन लेंस और 200MP की ब्रांडिंग वाला उभरा हुआ स्क्वायर कैमरा मॉड्यूल है। इसके अलावा, बैक पैनल के बीच में Motorola का मशहूर बैटविंग लोगो है।

लीक हुए चार रेंडर्स में कथित Motorola Edge 70 Neo को dark green, light blue, olive green और pale pink कलर में दिखाया गया है। इसके रियर पैनल का टेक्सचर अलग-अलग लग रहा है, और Pink कलर वाले मॉडल में एक खास पैटर्न है। हालांकि, Motorola ने कलर्स के आधिकारिक नामों का खुलासा नहीं किया है, लेकिन कंपनी आमतौर पर अपने स्मार्टफोन के कलर के लिए Pantone ब्रांडिंग का इस्तेमाल करती है।

इससे पहले सामने आई कुछ रिपोर्ट्स में Motorola Edge 70 Neo को Motorola Edge 2026 से जोड़ा गया था, जिसे जून में नॉर्थ अमेरिका में लॉन्च किया गया था। हालांकि, नए रेंडर्स में दिख रही कैमरा ब्रांडिंग से पता चलता है कि दोनों मॉडल्स के फाइनल स्पेसिफिकेशन्स अलग-अलग हो सकते हैं।

बता दें कि Motorola Edge 70 Neo कंपनी की बढ़ती हुई Edge 70 सीरीज का नया मॉडल हो सकता है। Motorola ने भारत में इस सीरीज का स्टैंडर्ड Edge 70 दिसंबर 2025 में लॉन्च किया था। इसके बाद मार्च 2026 में Edge 70 Fusion और Edge 70 Fusion+ पेश किए गए।

इसके बाद अप्रैल में Edge 70 Pro ने एंट्री की, जबकि Edge 70 Pro+ और Edge 70 Max को क्रमशः जून और जुलाई 2026 में लॉन्च किया गया।

हालांकि, खास बात यह है कि Edge 70 Fusion+ को भारत में लॉन्च नहीं किया गया था। अगर Edge 70 Neo भारत में आता है, तो यह सीरीज में एक और नया विकल्प जोड़ देगा।
