Dimensionally, the Tekton is identical to the Duster in terms of height, wheelbase, ground clearance, wheel size, though the Nissan SUV is 6mm longer overall and 2mm wider on account of styling differences. The Tekton is also longer than the Sierra, Creta, Grand Vitara, Kushaq, Taigun, Elevate, Astor, and Aircross, but falls short of the Seltos by 111mm, the Hyryder by 16mm, and the Victoris by 11mm.

On the wheelbase front, though, the Sierra comes out on top, followed by the Seltos, Aircross, and then the Tekton and Duster. The Tekton claws back some points in the ground clearance department, with its 212mm figure ranking the second-highest among its rivals, beaten only by the Elevate. The Tekton and Duster also have the largest boot capacities in the midsize SUV segment. Lastly, the Tekton’s wheel sizes are competitive by class standards, with the Sierra being the only one to offer 19-inch wheels.

Expectedly, the Tekton comes with the same 100hp 1.0-litre MPFI and 163hp 1.3-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engines available with the Duster. The latter engine is the most powerful in its segment, despite being down on displacement compared to the 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol mills offered for the Creta, Sierra, Seltos, Kushaq, and Taigun.

However, the Tekton’s smaller 3-cylinder turbo-petrol motor is up to 15hp weaker compared to those of the Taigun, Kushaq, and Aircross. There’s no CNG, or naturally aspirated petrol engine option available with the Tekton, either, putting it out of direct contention with the likes of the Grand Vitara, Victoris, Elevate, Astor, and Hyryder, nor does the Nissan SUV offer a diesel engine, which many midsize SUV buyers prefer.

Moreover, despite the shared platform, the Tekton will miss out on the 1.8-litre strong hybrid powertrain that will debut on the Duster later this year. Renault will keep the hybrid option exclusive to the Duster as the French carmaker spearheaded the development of the platform and wants to position the SUV higher up the value chain.

In terms of gearbox options, the Tekton is identical to the Duster. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine is paired solely with a 6-speed manual, whereas the 1.3-litre mill additionally offers a 6-speed wet-clutch DCT. Compared to the dry-clutch DCTs offered by the Creta, Seltos, Taigun, and Kushaq, the Tekton’s wet-clutch unit should be smoother at slow speeds.

The Tekton is a front-wheel drive model only, which is par for the course for this segment. Only the Victoris and Grand Vitara offer all-wheel drive, that too with their 1.5 petrol AT powertrains.

When it comes to starting price, the Tekton matches the Duster and is one of the most affordable midsize SUVs at the base level, beaten only by the Astor and Aircross. The Victoris comes next with a near-negligible Rs 1,000 premium over the Tekton, followed by the Kushaq, Grand Vitara, Creta, Seltos, Taigun, Hyryder, Sierra, and Elevate, in that order.

The Tekton does cost Rs 10,000 more than the Duster when comparing top-spec variants, but even so, it’s substantially easier on the pocket than the likes of the Seltos, Creta, Sierra, Hyryder, Victoris, and Grand Vitara. The Aircross remains the most affordable midsize SUV by a long shot.

जन्म और मूल नाम: उनका जन्म 25 फरवरी 1894 को पुणे में एक पारसी (ईरानी) परिवार में हुआ था। उनका बचपन का नाम मेरवान शेरियर इरानी था। 'मेहेर बाबा' नाम उन्हें उनके शुरुआती शिष्यों ने दिया, जिसका अर्थ है 'दयालु पिता'।

आध्यात्मिक अनुशासन: जब बाबा मौन थे, तो वे शुरू में एक 'अल्फाबेट बोर्ड'/ अक्षर पट्टिका की मदद से और बाद में केवल हाथ के इशारों से बात करते थे। उन्होंने अपने शिष्यों को सिखाया कि जीभ का मौन दरअसल मन को शांत करने और आंतरिक ऊर्जा को संचित करने की पहली सीढ़ी है।

 

प्रेम की गहराई: बाबा के शिष्यों के अनुसार, बाबा का कहना था कि जब दो लोग गुस्से में होते हैं तो उनके दिलों की दूरी बढ़ जाती है, इसलिए वे चिल्लाते हैं। लेकिन जब दो लोग गहरे प्रेम में होते हैं, तो वे बहुत धीरे बोलते हैं, और जब प्रेम पराकाष्ठा पर होता है, तो शब्दों की जरूरत ही नहीं पड़ती; केवल मौन ही काफी होता है।

 

मौन पर्व कैसे मनाया जाता है?

The N-Connecta is the sweet spot in the Tekton range. It brings together the larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 18-inch alloy wheels, premium interior trim, wireless charger, six-speaker audio system and the option of both manual and dual-clutch automatic versions with the 163hp turbo-petrol engine. It delivers most of the equipment buyers in this segment expect without moving into the more expensive top trims.

If your priority is ADAS and connected-car technology, the Tekna is worth considering. It adds a comprehensive driver assistance package, ventilated seats, powered driver’s seat and additional convenience features for a reasonable premium over the N-Connecta.

The Tekna+ is best suited to buyers who specifically want Google built-in, the powered tailgate, 360-degree camera and the full ADAS suite. While it offers the most equipment, the additional features may not justify the price premium for every buyer.

इससे पहले न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ ही भारतीय टीम ने दुबई में खेले गए चैंपियन्स ट्रॉफी 2025 फाइनल में जीत हासिल की थी। तब भी कोच गौतम गंभीर ही थे। हालांकि उन्हें सिर्फ 6 महीने से ज्यादा का समय हुआ था।लेकिन खास बात यह थी कि टीम ने बिना कोई मैच गंवाई चैंपियन्स ट्रॉफी जीती थी। चैंपियन्स ट्रॉफी से पहले टीम इंडिया ने इंग्लैंड को भी 3-0 से अपने घर पर हराया था।

हालांकि इस सिक्के के कुछ पहलू भी है। गौतम गंभीर ने रोहित शर्मा से लेकर शुभमन गिल और सूर्यकुमार यादव से लेकर श्रेयस अय्यर की कप्तानी में कोचिंग की। गौतम गंभीर ने श्रीलंका दौरे से शुरुआत की जहां टीम इंडिया टी-20 सीरीज तो 3-0 से जीती लेकिन 27 साल बाद पहली बार 2-0 से श्रीलंका से एकदिवसीय सीरीज हार गई। भारत को इसकेे बाद दक्षिण अफ्रीका से एकदिवसीय सीरीज में जीत मिली।

हाल ही में भारत को ऑस्ट्रेलिया से एकदिवसीय सीरीज 2-1 से गंवानी पड़ी वहीं न्यूजीलैंड से घर पर भारत को 2-1 से सीरीज गंवानी पड़ी।

3 साल बाद यह भारत को घरेलू धरती पर सीरीज गंवानी पड़ी। इसमें अंतिम मैच इंदौर में था जहां पहली बार भारत एकदिवसीय मैच हारा। वहीं हाल फिलहाल में आयरलैंड के खिलाफ 0-2 से भारत ने सीरीज गंवाई। आयरलैंड से सीरीज गंवाने वाले गौतम गंभीर पहले भारतीय कप्तान बने।

एकदिवसीय मैचों में उनका जीत प्रतिशत 67 प्रतिशत है। उनकी कोचिंग में भारतीय टीम ने 15 मुकाबले जीते और 7 हारे। इनमें से एक का नतीजा नहीं आया था। वहीं टी-20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय मैचों में गंभीर का प्रदर्शन लाजवाब रहा है। टीम ने 50 मैचों में से 37 जीते हैं और सिर्फ 10 हारे हैं। एक मैच का नतीजा नहीं आया था। इस कारण गंभीर का जीत प्रतिशत टी-20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय मैचों में 77 का रहा है।

पिछले साल दक्षिण अफ्रीका ने गुवाहाटी में भारत को 2-0 से हराकर टेस्ट श्रृंखला अपने नाम की जिससे मेजबान टीम को मुख्य कोच गौतम गंभीर के मार्गदर्शन में तीसरी टेस्ट श्रृंखला में हार का मुंह देखना पड़ा। इस तरह गंभीर का 16 महीने का सफर उतार-चढ़ाव भरा रहा।

इस दौरान भारत को घरेलू मैदान पर न्यूजीलैंड से 0-3, ऑस्ट्रेलिया से उसकी सरजमीं पर 1-3 से और अब घरेलू मैदान पर दक्षिण अफ्रीका से 0-2 से हार मिली।इंग्लैंड दौरे पर जरूर मिंया मैजिक के कारण सीरीज बराबर हुई लेकिन वहां भी टीम इंडिया 2 टेस्ट मैच हारी।

इससे गंभीर का बतौर कोच टेस्ट कोचिंग रिकॉर्ड 19 मैच में सात जीत, 10 हार और दो ड्रॉ है जिसमें जीत का प्रतिशत महज 36.82 है।वह केवल डंकन फ्लेचर से आगे हैं जिनकी जीत का प्रतिशत 33.33 (39 टेस्ट में 13 जीत, 17 हार, 9 ड्रॉ) रहा है।वहीं 21वीं सदी में भारतीय जमीन पर उनका बतौर टेस्ट क्रिकेट कोच सबसे खराब रिकॉर्ड हो चुका है। वह इस दौरान पहले ऐसे कोच हैं जिनकी हार ज्यादा है और जीत कम है।

Lego Technic has released a new kit called the Ducati Desmo 450MX Factory Motorcycle. As the name suggests this is an assembly kit based around Ducati’s new 450cc MX motorcycle.

This is not the first time Lego has made a motorcycle, or even a Ducati for that matter. The Danish toy company has made multiple Ducati licenced kit motorcycles over the years and this is the latest in the line. In fact, there is also a Ducati Panigale V4 S kit also currently available from Lego.

Mirroring real life, this new kit is simpler than the Panigale kit which features over three times the parts. Based on Ducati’s new single cylinder MX range, the Lego Desmo 450MX is a kit that comprises 457 pieces and is targeted at children ages 10 and up. Once fully assembled, the bike’s dimensions are 7.5 in. (19 cm) high, 12 in. (31 cm) long and 4.5 in. (11 cm) wide.  

It may be simpler, but the 450 MX kit still has functional steering and working suspension at both ends. It even has a working chain that moves the single piston within the engine. Where the Panigale kit takes the complexity further is in the inclusion of a three speed transmission that you won’t find here.

However, at USD 50 (around Rs 4768) the Desmo 450 MX kit is also far more affordable than the Panigale kit which costs USD 200 (Rs 19,071). This new Ducati Lego kit will go on sale in the USA on August 1 and it should be available in India soon after as well as it is already listed on the company’s India website.

India Weather Update: इस समय देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में मानसून के असर की वजह से जबर्दस्त बारिश हो रही है। मूसलाधार बारिश ने कई जगहों पर बाढ़ जैसे हालात पैदा कर दिए हैं और कई लैंडस्लाइड देखने को मिली हैं। इस बीच दक्षिण-पश्चिम मानसून ने रफ्तार पकड़ते हुए आज 9 जुलाई को उत्तरी अरब सागर, राजस्थान, हरियाणा और पंजाब के बचे हुए हिस्सों को पूरी तरह कवर कर लिया है। इसके साथ ही मानसून ने सामान्य तिथि (8 जुलाई) से महज 1 दिन की देरी से 9 जुलाई को पूरे देश में अपनी दस्तक दे दी है। पूरे भारत में मानसून के सक्रिय होने के चलते भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने उत्तर प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड समेत दो दर्जन से अधिक राज्यों के लिए 15 जुलाई तक भारी से बेहद भारी बारिश और आंधी-तूफान का बड़ा अलर्ट जारी किया है।

इन राज्यों में अत्यंत भारी बारिश का हाई अलर्ट

मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक अगले 48 घंटों के भीतर कुछ राज्यों में बादलों का सबसे रौद्र रूप देखने को मिलेगा। यहां अलग-अलग जगहों पर मूसलाधार से अत्यंत भारी बारिश होने की आशंका है:

  1. उत्तराखंड: 9 और 10 जुलाई को अत्यंत भारी बारिश का अलर्ट।
  2. पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश: 9 जुलाई को अत्यंत भारी बारिश का अलर्ट।
  3. देश भर के राज्यों का विस्तृत क्षेत्रीय पूर्वानुमान (9 से 15 जुलाई)
  4. उत्तर-पश्चिम भारत: यूपी-उत्तराखंड में लगातार बरसेंगे बादल

उत्तर प्रदेश: पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश में 9 से 11 जुलाई और पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश में 9 से 13 जुलाई तक व्यापक बारिश होगी। पश्चिमी यूपी में 9 जुलाई को अत्यंत भारी बारिश के बाद 10 जुलाई को बहुत भारी और 11 जुलाई को भारी बारिश होगी। पूर्वी यूपी में 9 से 11 जुलाई तक बहुत भारी बारिश और 12-13 जुलाई को भारी बारिश का अनुमान है। 9 जुलाई को दोनों हिस्सों में बिजली कड़कने की चेतावनी है।

  • उत्तराखंड और हिमाचल प्रदेश: उत्तराखंड और हिमाचल प्रदेश में 9 से 15 जुलाई तक लगातार व्यापक बारिश का दौर जारी रहेगा। उत्तराखंड में 9-10 जुलाई को अत्यंत भारी बारिश के बाद 11 से 15 जुलाई तक लगातार भारी बारिश होगी। हिमाचल प्रदेश में 9 जुलाई को बहुत भारी बारिश की संभावना है।
  • दिल्ली, हरियाणा और पंजाब: हरियाणा, चंडीगढ़ और दिल्ली में 9-10 जुलाई को व्यापक बारिश होगी। यहां 9 जुलाई को बहुत भारी बारिश और 10 से 13 जुलाई के बीच भारी बारिश का अलर्ट है। पंजाब में 9 जुलाई को व्यापक बारिश के साथ ही 9 जुलाई और 11-12 जुलाई को भारी बारिश की संभावना है।
  • जम्मू-कश्मीर और राजस्थान: जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में 9-12 जुलाई तक व्यापक बारिश, भारी बारिश (11-12 जुलाई) और 15 जुलाई तक 40-50 किमी/घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चलने का अलर्ट है। पूर्वी राजस्थान में 9 जुलाई को भारी बारिश और 9-10 जुलाई को गरज-चमक की स्थिति रहेगी।

मध्य भारत: मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ में आंधी-तूफान का अलर्ट

मध्य प्रदेश: पश्चिमी मध्य प्रदेश में 9 जुलाई को और पूर्वी मध्य प्रदेश में 9-10 जुलाई को व्यापक बारिश होगी। इन दोनों क्षेत्रों में 9 से 13 जुलाई के दौरान 40-50 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज हवाएं चलने और बिजली चमकने की आशंका है। पश्चिमी हिस्से में 9 जुलाई को और पूर्वी हिस्से में 9-10 जुलाई को भारी बारिश होने का पूर्वानुमान है।

छत्तीसगढ़ और विदर्भ: छत्तीसगढ़ में 9 जुलाई और फिर 13-15 जुलाई के दौरान व्यापक वर्षा होगी जबकि 9 जुलाई को भारी बारिश और 9-13 जुलाई तक बिजली चमकने का अलर्ट है। विदर्भ में 9 जुलाई और 14-15 जुलाई को व्यापक बारिश होने के आसार हैं।

पूर्वी भारत: बिहार और बंगाल में बहुत भारी बारिश की मार

बिहार: बिहार में 9 जुलाई को बहुत भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। इसके बाद 10 से 11 जुलाई के दौरान व्यापक बारिश होगी, जिससे 10-12 जुलाई के बीच भारी बारिश दर्ज की जा सकती है।

पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम: उप-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम में 9-10 जुलाई को बहुत भारी बारिश और 11-15 जुलाई को भारी बारिश होगी। गांगेय पश्चिम बंगाल में 9 से 13 जुलाई तक भारी बारिश और 9-10 जुलाई को तेज हवाएं चलने का अनुमान है।

झारखंड और ओडिशा: झारखंड में 12-15 जुलाई तक व्यापक बारिश होगी, जबकि 13 जुलाई को भारी बारिश का अलर्ट है। ओडिशा में 13-14 जुलाई के दौरान भारी बारिश होने की संभावना है।

पूर्वोत्तर भारत: असम और अरुणाचल में 15 जुलाई तक आफत

असम, मेघालय और अरुणाचल प्रदेश: असम, मेघालय और अरुणाचल प्रदेश में 9 और 10 जुलाई को अलग-अलग जगहों पर बहुत भारी बारिश होने की आशंका है। इसके बाद 11 से 15 जुलाई के दौरान इन क्षेत्रों में लगातार भारी बारिश का दौर जारी रहेगा।

EPFO Credit FY26 Interest Update: अगर आप भी अपने पीएफ खाते में ब्याज का पैसा ट्रांसफर होने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं, तो आपके लिए बहुत बड़ी खुशखबरी है। कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन (EPFO) वित्त वर्ष 2025-26 के लिए ब्याज का पैसा 15 जुलाई तक देश के करीब 34 करोड़ खाताधारकों के अकाउंट में क्रेडिट करने जा रहा है।

आमतौर पर पीएफ का ब्याज अक्टूबर या नवंबर के महीने में आता था, लेकिन इस बार नए सेंट्रलाइज्ड आईटी सिस्टम की बदौलत यह काम काफी पहले होने जा रहा है। इस बार कुल 1.44 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की ब्याज राशि बांटी जा रही है। वित्त मंत्रालय ने पिछले महीने ही 8.25% की ब्याज दर को मंजूरी दी है, जो लगातार तीसरे साल भी बरकरार है। आइए जानते हैं कि आपके पीएफ बैलेंस के हिसाब से आपको कितने रुपये का फायदा होने वाला है।

Jewellery Stocks : कल की भारी गिरावट के बाद आज बाजार में शानदार रिकवरी देखने को मिल रही है। निफ्टी 150 प्वाइंट से ज्यादा उछलकर 24050 के ऊपर आ गया है। बैंक निफ्टी में 550 प्वाइंट से ज्यादा की तेजी नजर आ रही है। छोटे-मझोले शेयरों में भी अच्छी खरीदारी आई है। इसके चलते मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स करीब 1.5 फीसदी के उछाल के साथ आज आउटपरफॉर्म कर रहे हैं। वहीं, वोलैटिलिटी इंडेक्स इंडिया VIX में 10% से ज्यादा की गिरावट दिख रही है। यह तेजड़ियों के लिए राहत की बात है।

इस बीच JPMorgan की बुलिश रिपोर्ट के बाद ज्वेलरी शेयरों की चमक बढ़ गई है। कल्याण ज्वेलर्स 15 फीसदी तेजी के साथ वायदा का टॉप गेनर बना हुआ है। सेनको गोल्ड में भी 7 फीसदी से ज्यादा की तेजी है। आइए इस रिपोर्ट पर डालते हैं एक नजर।

जेपी मॉर्गन ने अपनी ताजा रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि गोल्ड रीसाइकलिंग ट्रेंड से ज्वेलरी स्टॉक्स को सपोर्ट मिलने की संभावना है। ग्राहकों के डिमांड पैटर्न में भी बड़ा बदलाव आया है। गोल्ड एक्सचेंज स्कीम को अच्छा रिस्पॉन्स मिल रहा है। रीसाइकलिंग में ग्राहक पुराने गोल्ड का ज्यादा इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। हल्के और कम कैरेट (18K/14K) ज्वेलरी की मांग बढ़ी है। रिटेलर एक्सचेंज & एनकैशमेंट स्कीम से फुटफॉल बढ़ा है। ऊंची गोल्ड कीमतों से ग्राहकों के खरीदारी का ट्रेंड बदला है। वित्त 2027 की पहली तिमाही में ज्वेलरी सेक्टर में मांग में मजबूती रही है। ऑर्गेनाइज्ड ज्वेलर्स के लिए मार्केट शेयर बढ़ाने का मौका है। इससे टाइटन, कल्याण ज्वेलर्स और सेनको को बड़ा फायदा होगा।

जेपी मॉर्गन ने 5,182 रुपये के टारगेट के साथ टाइटन पर ओवरवेट (Overweight) की रेटिंग बरकरार रखी है। ब्रोकरेज का कहना है कि बुलियन को छोड़कर तनिष्क, मिया, ज़ोया और बियॉन की रेवेन्यू में सालाना आधार पर 39 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी हुई, जो अनुमान से बेहतर है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि खरीदारों की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी ‘लो डबल डिजिट’ तक पहुंच गई और टिकट साइज़ भी मजबूत बना रहा है। इसके अलावा, त्योहारों की मांग और सोने की कीमतों में स्थिरता के कारण प्लेन गोल्ड, स्टडेड ज्वेलरी और सोने के सिक्कों की अच्छी मांग से कंपनी के अपनी ग्रोथ की रफ्तार बनाए रखने में मदद मिलनी चाहिए।

ज्वेलरी कंपनियों के प्रदर्शन और वैल्यूएशन पर नजर डालें तो पहली तिमाही में टाइटन की आय में 39 फीसदी की ग्रोथ देखने को मिली है। यह स्टॉक 80 गुना पीई पर ट्रेड कर रहा है। वहीं, कल्याण ज्वेलर्स की आय में पहली तिमाही में 38 फीसदी की ग्रोथ देखने को मिली है। यह शेयर 28 80 गुना पीई पर ट्रेड कर रहा है। सेनको गोल्ड की आय में पहली तिमाही में 60 फीसदी की ग्रोथ दिखी है। यह शेयर 10 गुना पीई पर ट्रेड कर रहा है।

Nissan has finally launched its version of the Renault Duster, the Tekton. While the two midsize SUVs share the same mechanical underpinnings, they slightly differ in terms of design. Interestingly, this isn’t Nissan’s first take on the Duster, as the brand had previously sold the Terrano. In this feature, we take a closer look at how the Tekton differs from the Renault SUV, both inside and out.

Nissan claims that the Tekton’s design is inspired by the Patrol flagship SUV, which lends it a more squared-off appearance than the Renault Duster. While the overall silhouette is similar, the Tekton separates itself with slimmer LED headlights, connected by a light bar. Even the C-shaped design of the DRLs is different from the Duster’s eyebrow-shaped units. Nissan has opted for a traditional front grille with the logo in the centre, while the ‘TEKTON’ lettering is present on the bonnet. Another standout for the Tekton comes in the form of a red strip, which flanks the logo on the grille. The Renault SUV, meanwhile, places the ‘DUSTER’ lettering on the grille. Tweaks have also been made to the front bumper of the Tekton, with lesser use of silver-finished trims.

In profile, details like a multi-spoke design for the 18-inch alloy wheels, variant-specific badging with C-shaped graphics on the front fenders and silver-finished roof rails make the Tekton stand out. A good dose of cladding over the wheel arches and under the doors, pull-type door handles at the front and C-pillar-mounted ones at the rear and shark-fin antenna are common between the two.

Unlike the triangular tail-lamps of the Duster, the Tekton opts for a C-shaped signature, which is a nod to the Patrol. This signature also trickles down to silver trims on the rear bumper.

Inside, the top-spec Tekton features a dual-tone rose gold and burgundy upholstery, instead of the Duster’s black-and-green theme. Further distinction is made by gold finished inserts on the three-spoke steering wheels, dashboard, centre console and door handles.

Speaking of features, both pack a similar set of features, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger and 6-way adjustable and ventilated front seats. Safety suite includes 6 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera with blind-spot assist, an electronic parking brake and front and rear parking sensors. Like the Duster, the Nissan has received a full five-star crash safety rating from the Bharat NCAP.

Like the Duster, the Tekton comes with 100hp 1-litre and 163hp 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine options. Similarly, a 6-speed manual gearbox is on offer with both engines, but an automatic gearbox – a 7-speed DCT in this case – is limited to the more powerful mill. Even the mileage figures of these powertrain options are similar, as can be seen in the table below. As we had exclsuively reported earlier, the Tekton will not receive the 160hp 1.8-litre strong-hybrid powertrain, set to be introduced with the Duster by Diwali.

Nissan Tekton vs Renault Duster: Price

Like the Duster, the Nissan Tekton starts at Rs 10.49 lakh, ex-showroom. However, the Tekton is priced Rs 10,000 less at the top-end at Rs 18.59 lakh. Competing in the midsize SUV space, the Tekton will compete with the Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
