E20 Petrol Row: रायपुर कंज्यूमर कोर्ट के आदेश को चुनौती देगी Maruti Suzuki, अदालत ने नई कार देने का दिया था आदेश

E20 Row: देश की प्रमुख कार निर्माता कंपनी मारुति सुजुकी इंडिया ने कहा है कि वह रायपुर के डिस्ट्रिक्ट कंज्यूमर डिस्प्यूट्स रिड्रेसल कमीशन के 14 जुलाई के आदेश को चुनौती देगी। इस आदेश में कंपनी को एक ग्राहक की गाड़ी को नए E20-कम्पैटिबल मॉडल से बदलने का निर्देश दिया गया था। ग्राहक ने E20 पेट्रोल के इस्तेमाल से जुड़ी समस्याओं की शिकायत की थी। यह आदेश छत्तीसगढ़ के एक ‘ग्रैंड विटारा हाइब्रिड’ मालिक से जुड़ा है, जिन्होंने कंज्यूमर फोरम में शिकायत की थी कि E20 पेट्रोल भरवाने के बाद गाड़ी में तकनीकी खराबी आ गई थी।

खबरों के मुताबिक, कमीशन ने कंपनी को 45 दिनों के भीतर दूसरी गाड़ी देने या RTO और इंश्योरेंस के खर्च समेत 20.5 लाख रुपये का पूरा रिफंड देने का निर्देश दिया था। इस घटनाक्रम पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए मारुति सुजुकी ने कहा कि मामले में शामिल गाड़ी पहले से ही E20 कम्पैटिबल थी और ओनर मैनुअल में बताए अनुसार E20 फ्यूल पर चलने में पूरी तरह सक्षम थी। बताया गया है कि कार ग्राहक को जून 2024 में बेची गई थी। लेकिन इसे जनवरी 2023 में बनाया गया था।

फ्यूल में मिलावट के सबूत मिले?

मारुति सुजुकी ने आगे कहा कि ग्राहक की गाड़ी से लिए गए फ्यूल में मिलावट के सबूत मिले हैं । कमीशन के आदेश में कई अन्य महत्वपूर्ण तथ्यों को शामिल नहीं किया गया है। कंपनी ने एक बयान में कहा, “हमें रायपुर के डिस्ट्रिक्ट कंज्यूमर डिस्प्यूट्स रिड्रेसल कमीशन के एक आदेश के बारे में पता चला है, जिसमें मारुति सुजुकी को ग्राहक की गाड़ी को नई E20-कम्पैटिबल कार से बदलने का निर्देश दिया गया है।”

दिग्गज कार कंपनी ने आगे कहा, “इस मामले में शामिल कार E20-कम्पैटिबल थी और E20 फ्यूल के इस्तेमाल के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार थी, जैसा कि ओनर मैनुअल में बताया गया है। ग्राहक की गाड़ी से लिए गए फ्यूल में मिलावट के सबूत हैं। आदेश में कई अन्य महत्वपूर्ण तथ्यों को भी शामिल नहीं किया गया है।”

क्या है पूरा मामला?

यह आदेश छत्तीसगढ़ के एक ‘ग्रैंड विटारा हाइब्रिड’ मालिक से जुड़ा है। उन्होंने कंज्यूमर फोरम में शिकायत की थी कि E20 पेट्रोल भरवाने के बाद गाड़ी में तकनीकी खराबी आ गई थी। खबरों के मुताबिक, कमीशन ने कंपनी को 45 दिनों के भीतर दूसरी गाड़ी देने या RTO और इंश्योरेंस के खर्च समेत 20.5 लाख रुपये का पूरा रिफंड देने का निर्देश दिया था। मारुति सुजुकी ने कहा कि वह इस फैसले के खिलाफ कानूनी रास्ता अपनाएगी।

एथेनॉल ब्लेंडेड फ्यूल और गाड़ियों की कम्पैटिबिलिटी को लेकर चल रही चर्चाओं के बीच इस मामले ने ध्यान खींचा है। कार कंपनियों का कहना है कि E20-कम्पैटिबल सर्टिफाइड वाहन 20 प्रतिशत तक इथेनॉल वाले ईंधन पर सुरक्षित रूप से चलने के लिए डिजाइन किए गए हैं। बशर्ते कि सप्लाई किया गया ईंधन तय क्वालिटी स्टैंडर्ड्स के अनुरूप हो।

Karnataka Doctor Murder: कर्नाटक के धारवाड़ से एक बेहद सनसनीखेज और दिल दहला देने वाला मामला सामने आया है। एक महिला डॉक्टर पर अपने ही डॉक्टर पति की चाकू मारकर हत्या करने और 8 साल के बेटे पर जानलेवा हमला करने का आरोप लगा है। सबसे हैरान करने वाली बात यह रही कि जब परिजन और पुलिस मौके पर पहुंचे, तब आरोपी महिला कथित तौर पर बेड पर लेटी हुई मोबाइल चला रही थी। जबकि पति और बेटा खून से लथपथ पड़े थे। वहां का नजीरा डरावना था। पूरे अपार्टमेंट में खून फैला हुआ था।

डॉक्टर पति की बेरहमी से हत्या

मृतक की पहचान डॉ. किरण होन्नन्नावर (45) के रूप में हुई है। वह धारवाड़ के चिरायु अस्पताल में एनेस्थीसिया विशेषज्ञ (Anaesthetist) थे। उनकी पत्नी डॉ. प्रियंका कट्टनहल्ली एमबीबीएस और नेत्र रोग विशेषज्ञ (MS Ophthalmology) हैं। महिला पर अपने पति की हत्या का आरोप है। यह घटना बुधवार 15 जुलाई को शहर के एक अपार्टमेंट की छठी मंजिल पर स्थित उनके फ्लैट में हुई। पुलिस के मुताबिक, कपल के 8 वर्षीय बेटे पर भी चाकू से हमला किया गया। बच्चे की सांस चल रही थी। इसके बाद उसे तुरंत निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उसका इलाज जारी है।

पुलिस पहुंची तो सामने था खौफनाक मंजर

पड़ोसियों की सूचना पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची तो पूरे फ्लैट में खून फैला हुआ था। एक कमरे में डॉ. किरण का शव पड़ा था। जबकि उनका बेटा गंभीर रूप से घायल था। पुलिस कमिश्नर एन. शशिकुमार ने बताया कि शुरुआती टीम को लगा था कि बच्चा भी मर चुका है। लेकिन उन्होंने उसकी नब्ज जांची तो पता चला कि वह जीवित है। इसके बाद तुरंत उसे अस्पताल भेजा गया, जिससे उसकी जान बचाई जा सकी। महिला डॉक्टर कथित तौर पर बेड पर लेटी मोबाइल स्क्रॉल कर रही थी। इस सीन ने सभी को स्तब्ध कर दिया।

परिजनों को देती रही झूठी जानकारी

जांच में सामने आया है कि मंगलवार रात और बुधवार सुबह जब परिजनों और दोस्तों ने डॉ. किरण को फोन किया, तो उनकी पत्नी प्रियंका ने कॉल उठाकर कहा कि वह आराम कर रहे हैं। बाद में उसने यह भी कहा कि वह ड्यूटी पर गए हैं। लेकिन जब लंबे समय तक संपर्क नहीं हुआ तो बुधवार शाम परिजन फ्लैट पहुंचे। दरवाजा खुलने पर उन्होंने अंदर का भयावह सीन देखा। पुलिस का कहना है कि शुरुआती जांच में ऐसा कोई संकेत नहीं मिला है कि घटना के समय घर में कोई बाहरी व्यक्ति मौजूद था। फ्लैट के अंदर केवल पति, पत्नी और बेटा ही थे। फिलहाल, मामले की जांच सभी एंगल से चल रही है।

Hero’s additional investment in Ather: What to expect?

The investment comes at a significant time for Ather, which recently confirmed that it will unveil the mass-market EL platform scooter

The investment will be made through a preferential allotment of equity shares or equity-linked convertible securities, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.

Hero has been an investor in Ather since 2016 and currently holds a 29.48 percent stake in the company on a fully diluted basis, making it Ather’s largest shareholder. The latest capital infusion is expected to be completed within 15 days of receiving the required regulatory and corporate approvals.

The investment comes at a significant time for Ather, which recently confirmed that it will unveil its first mass-market EL platform scooter at Community Day on August 29. Expected to be priced in the Rs 1 lakh-1.25 lakh range, the new scooter will be Ather’s first all-new platform since the 450 and is aimed at significantly expanding the company’s addressable market.  

The additional funding also follows Ather’s recent partnership with LICO Materials to establish a collection and recycling ecosystem for end-of-life lithium-ion batteries. Under the partnership, batteries from Ather’s EV fleet will be processed at LICO’s recycling facility in Karnataka, where they will either be repurposed for second-life applications or recycled to recover critical materials that can be fed back into the battery supply chain. The initiative supports compliance with India’s Battery Waste Management Rules while helping reduce dependence on imported battery materials.

The River Indie has registered its highest-ever monthly retail sales of 4,436 units in June 2026, surpassing its previous best of 4,273 units recorded in March 2026. Cumulative sales since the scooter’s launch in October 2023 now stand at 43,805 units as of the end of June. The strong performance has also pushed the Bengaluru-based startup to seventh place in the monthly electric two-wheeler OEM rankings, up from eighth earlier this year.

CY2026 sales already account for 54 percent of all-time cumulative sales

The Indie’s sales trajectory tells a clear story of accelerating growth. After relatively modest volumes in its first two years, River Mobility delivered 17,020 Indies in 2025, enough to rank ninth among electric two-wheeler manufacturers for the year. The momentum has continued into 2026, with 9,607 units delivered in Q1 (January-March), 62 percent higher than Q4 2025. Q2 (April-June) added a further 11,776 units.

The 23,722 units delivered in the first six months of 2026 already account for 54 percent of the Indie’s cumulative sales since launch. At its current pace, River Mobility appears on course to cross 50,000 annual sales for the first time this year.

The Indie is priced at Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), putting it on par with higher-capacity variants of popular electric scooters such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Ather Rizta. It’s a large, comfortable and practical scooter focused on everyday utility rather than outright features, with a generous 43 litres of underseat storage– the largest offered on any electric scooter currently on sale in India.

River Mobility manufactures both the Indie and the Yamaha EC-06 at its plant in Hoskote, Karnataka, which has an annual production capacity of 1,20,000 units. The company is also understood to be evaluating a second manufacturing facility ahead of the planned rollout of two new models in the first quarter of 2027.

Ather Announces Partnership for End-of-Life EV Battery Recycling

Ather Energy has entered into a partnership with a Bengaluru based firm called LICO Materials to develop a system for the collection, recycling and recovery of materials from end-of-life lithium-ion EV batteries. Under this partnership arrangement, batteries from Ather’s fleet will be processed at LICO Materials’ recycling facility in Karnataka. These packs will either be repurposed for a second-life application, or the materials from within them will be recovered and reintroduced into the battery supply chain for use by cell manufacturers and automotive OEMs.

The partnership covers Ather batteries from both privately owned, and Ather’s own fleet vehicles, provided that Ather routes them to LICO for recycling. Gaurav Dolwani, CEO, LICO Materials explains that Ather customers do not sell their vehicles to LICO. Instead, once Ather determines that a battery has reached the end of its life, it will be made available for recycling through its service center network. “LICO will collect these batteries from Ather service centers through its reverse logistics network. LICO’s in-built digital application enables end-to-end tracking and traceability of batteries, from collection and transportation to their receipt at the recycling facility.” 

Once the batteries are received from Ather, LICO will conduct a detailed technical assessment to determine their residual life and the appropriate processing pathway. The batteries are evaluated across multiple parameters, including State of Health (SoH), State of Charge (SoC), and internal resistance. Based on this, the company will determine whether a battery should be sent for recycling, or repurposed for a second-life application. LICO confirms that there is no single fixed percentage of remaining battery capacity that determines end of service life. The decision is based on a combination of battery health, performance and electrical parameters. 

The partnership is also aligned with the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, which mandate extended producer responsibility across the battery value chain. The companies cited industry projections indicating that battery recycling could meet more than 40 percent of India’s lithium, nickel and cobalt requirements by 2050, while supporting job creation and reducing carbon emissions. LICO claims that its facility is capable of recovery rates of up to 95 percent .

रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, पृथ्वीराज बाद में मास्टर डिग्री करने के लिए अमेरिका चले गए, जहां उन्होंने एक टियर-3 यूनिवर्सिटी में दाखिला लिया। सीमित आर्थिक संसाधनों और कम मार्गदर्शन के बावजूद उन्होंने हार नहीं मानी। उन्होंने लगातार अपनी तकनीकी कौशल को बेहतर बनाया और करियर में आगे बढ़ने के लिए मेहनत जारी रखी। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, लगातार मेहनत और सीखने की लगन की बदौलत पृथ्वीराज ने NVIDIA की कठिन चयन प्रक्रिया सफलतापूर्वक पार की। अब वह कंपनी के अमेरिका स्थित सांता क्लारा मुख्यालय में डीप लर्निंग से जुड़े सॉफ्टवेयर डेवलपमेंट इंजीनियर के रूप में काम कर रहे हैं और उनकी सालाना आय करीब 2.6 करोड़ रुपये बताई जाती है।

Customers in Gujarat can avail offers of up to Rs 45,000, including a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of up to Rs 25,000. Customers from other states can avail benefits of up to Rs 30,000 only, including a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. Renault is also offering loyalty bonuses, corporate offers and rural benefits to eligible customers.

The Renault Triber is priced from Rs 5.81 lakh to Rs 8.48 lakh and locks horns with the Nissan Gravite, while being an affordable alternative to the larger Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Rumion and Kia Carens.

Renault Kwid July 2026 offers

Benefits of up to Rs 15,000

In July 2026, the 2026 Renault Kwid is available with cash discounts of up to Rs 15,000 across select Indian states, which do not include Kerala, Assam, Karnataka, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. The older version of the Kwid is available with a cash discount of up to Rs 30,000, depending on the location.

The Renault Kwid is priced from Rs 4.53 lakh to Rs 5.61 lakh. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso and Tata Tiago.

Yamaha launches flex-fuel FZ at Rs 1.24 lakh

Yamaha has launched the FZ Blue Flex– a flex-fuel-compatible version of the FZ that can run on ethanol blends ranging from E20 to E85. The launch makes Yamaha the latest manufacturer to enter the flex-fuel space, following Suzuki with the Gixxer SF 250 FFV and Hero with the Splendor and HF Deluxe.

Peak output drops compared to the standard FZ; ground clearance is also lower

The FZ Blue Flex is powered by the same 149cc air-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that underpins the rest of the FZ range, but with modifications that allow it to run on higher ethanol blends. Peak output is rated at 11.7hp at 7,250rpm and 12.8Nm at 6,000rpm– a drop of 0.7hp and 0.5Nm compared to the standard FZ. This is a common trade-off with flex-fuel engines due to ethanol’s lower energy density.

The FZ has never been the most powerful motorcycle in the 150cc segment, and the Blue Flex’s lower output brings it close to the performance levels of some premium sporty 125cc commuters.

The FZ Blue Flex shares its LED headlamp with the FZ Rave launched late last year, along with the same fuel tank, faux air vents and single-piece seat. The 5-speed gearbox, telescopic front fork, rear monoshock and single-channel ABS have also been carried over. One notable change, however, is the reduced ground clearance, which drops to 135mm from the 165mm offered by the other FZ variants. Kerb weight stands at 139kg, making it 3kg heavier than the FZ Rave.

The FZ Blue Flex is available in a single Metallic Black colour option and will initially be sold through Yamaha’s Blue Square premium dealerships in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Priced at Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom), it sits roughly in the middle of the nine-model FZ lineup.

करीब चार दशक पहले केसरी के घर के आंगन में चंदन का एक छोटा-सा पौधा अपने आप उग आया था। उन्होंने उसे हटाने के बजाय उसकी देखभाल करने का फैसला किया।

धीरे-धीरे वह छोटा पौधा एक विशाल चंदन के पेड़ में बदल गया। पेड़ की खुशबू आसपास के लोगों का ध्यान खींचने लगी और उसकी कीमत बढ़ने के साथ खतरा भी बढ़ गया।

चोरों से बचाने के लिए लगाया लोहे का सुरक्षा घेरा

चंदन की लकड़ी की कीमत और मांग को देखते हुए पेड़ पर तस्करों और लकड़ी चोरों की नजर पड़ने लगी। केसरी ने पेड़ की सुरक्षा के लिए उसके चारों ओर मजबूत लोहे का घेरा लगवा दिया।

उन्होंने कई वर्षों तक अपनी मेहनत और सतर्कता से इस अनमोल पेड़ को सुरक्षित रखा।

तूफान ने गिराया पेड़, लेकिन केसरी ने नहीं तोड़ा नियम

जून में भारी बारिश और तेज हवाओं के दौरान पास का एक बड़ा पेड़ गिर गया, जिसकी चपेट में आकर चंदन का पेड़ भी जमीन पर आ गया।

इतना कीमती पेड़ मिलने के बाद भी केसरी ने खुद उसे बेचने या काटने की कोशिश नहीं की। उन्होंने तुरंत वन विभाग को इसकी जानकारी दी और सभी कानूनी प्रक्रियाओं को पूरा किया।

एक टन वजन वाली चंदन की लकड़ी बनी बड़ी कमाई

वन विभाग की जांच के बाद पता चला कि गिरे हुए चंदन के पेड़ का वजन करीब एक टन था। इसके बाद लकड़ी को सरकारी चंदन डिपो, मैसूर भेजा गया। बाद में इसे कर्नाटक सोप्स एंड डिटर्जेंट्स लिमिटेड (KSDL) ने खरीदा, जो चंदन आधारित उत्पादों के लिए जानी जाती है।

इस बिक्री से केसरी को करीब 28 लाख रुपये की राशि मिली।

पैसों के साथ मिला बड़ा सम्मान

केसरी के लिए यह सिर्फ आर्थिक लाभ नहीं था। चंदन के पेड़ को इतने लंबे समय तक सुरक्षित रखने और संरक्षण के प्रति उनकी जिम्मेदारी को देखते हुए कर्नाटक सरकार ने उन्हें ‘चंदन शिरोमणि’ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया।

धैर्य और संरक्षण की मिसाल बनी कहानी

एनजी केसरी की कहानी बताती है कि प्रकृति की देखभाल और धैर्य का फल कभी-कभी अप्रत्याशित रूप से मिलता है। जिस पेड़ के गिरने को शुरुआत में नुकसान माना जा रहा था, वही पेड़ वर्षों की मेहनत के बाद उनके लिए सम्मान और बड़ी उपलब्धि लेकर आया।
