SUVs are not only extremely popular in the Indian mass market, they’re also highly aspirational. With aspiration comes the demand for higher power outputs, and many carmakers have answered that call by offering sporty and powerful SUVs to mass-market buyers. Therefore, we’ve put together a list of the most powerful ICE SUVs available under the Rs 25 lakh mark. The rankings are based on power output in ascending order.

10. Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq 1.5 turbo-petrol

150hp, 250Nm

Both the Taigun and Kushaq are among the most fun-to-drive options in the midsize SUV segment, largely thanks to their 150hp 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engines. This is the only engine on this list to feature active cylinder deactivation, which can shut off two of its cylinders at cruising speeds to save fuel. Volkswagen and Skoda offer the 1.5 TSI only in higher variants of the Taigun (GT Plus and GT Plus Sport) and Kushaq (Prestige and Monte Carlo), that too with a sole 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The Taigun 1.5 TSI price starts at Rs 19 lakh and extends to Rs 19.3 lakh, whereas pricing for the Kushaq 1.5 TSI starts at Rs 18.79 lakh and tops off at Rs 18.99 lakh.

9. Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta, Alcazar 1.5 turbo-petrol

160hp, 253Nm

Launched in early 2026, the second-gen Kia Seltos carries forward its predecessor’s powertrains, including the 160hp 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol, which is offered from the HTE(O) trim onwards. Gearbox options for the Seltos turbo-petrol comprise a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The Seltos turbo-petrol price starts at Rs 12.91 lakh and tops off at Rs 20 lakh.

Hyundai’s venerable Creta and its 7-seater derivative, the Alcazar, get the same turbo-petrol engine too, albeit with slightly different transmission options. The standard Creta turbo-petrol is available in the top-spec King trim with the 7-speed DCT, while the SUV’s sportier N Line variants additionally offer a 6-speed manual. Meanwhile, the Alcazar gets the turbo-petrol engine from its base Executive trim onwards and can be had with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT options.

The standard Creta turbo-petrol is priced at Rs 19.91 lakh, whereas the N Line variants start at Rs 19.03 lakh and top off at Rs 19.95 lakh. Interestingly, the Alcazar turbo-petrol, priced from Rs 14.51 lakh to Rs 21.1 lakh, carries the lowest starting price of any Hyundai SUV equipped with this engine.

8. Tata Sierra 1.5 turbo-petrol

160hp, 255Nm

The Sierra is the first Tata model to use the carmaker’s 160hp 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol ‘Hyperion’ engine, which is offered from the SUV’s Adventure+ trim onwards. Unlike most SUVs on this list, though, the Sierra turbo-petrol can be had solely with a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Pricing for the Sierra turbo-petrol starts at Rs 17.99 lakh and climbs to Rs 20.99 lakh.

7. Renault Duster 1.3 turbo-petrol

163hp, 280Nm

The new Renault Duster is the most powerful midsize SUV you can currently buy thanks to the 163hp 1.3-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine available from the one-above-base Evolution variant. This mill is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed wet-clutch DCT – the Duster is the only SUV on this list to offer the latter gearbox. The Duster 1.3 turbo-petrol price range is Rs 12.99 lakh-18.49 lakh.

6. Tata Safari, Harrier 1.5 turbo-petrol

170hp, 280Nm

Not long after the launch of the Sierra, Tata started offering its 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine under the bonnets of the Harrier and Safari as well. However, the engine features a higher state of tune for the Safari and Harrier –  up 10hp and 25Nm over the Sierra – and can even be had with a 6-speed manual gearbox in addition to the 6-speed torque converter.

The Harrier petrol is priced from Rs 12.89 lakh to Rs 24.14 lakh, while the Safari price range is Rs 13.29 lakh-24.85 lakh. These prices are exclusive of premiums for cosmetic packages like Dark, Red Dark, and Stealth.

5. Tata Safari, Harrier and Jeep Compass, Meridian 2.0 diesel

170hp, 350Nm

The Tata Harrier and Safari have long offered a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre diesel engine in the same 170hp state of tune. These diesel SUVs can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The Harrier diesel price range is Rs 14 lakh to 25.3 lakh, whereas pricing for the Safari diesel starts at Rs 14.75 lakh and tops off at Rs 26.05 lakh (excluding premiums for cosmetic packages).

Both of Jeep India’s mass-market offerings, the Compass and Meridian, also come with the same 170hp 2.0-litre diesel engine. However, the Compass and Meridian differ slightly in terms of gearbox options, offering either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque converter automatic. The Compass and Meridian also offer 4×4 as an option in higher variants.

Pricing for the Compass starts at Rs 17.99 lakh and climbs to Rs 30.45 lakh, whereas the Meridian is priced from Rs 23.33 lakh to Rs 37.48 lakh, excluding special editions for both SUVs.

4. Mahindra Scorpio N, Thar Roxx 2.2 diesel

Up to 175hp, 400Nm

Mahindra sells both the Scorpio N and Thar Roxx SUVs with a 2.2-litre diesel engine, albeit in varying states of tune. From the Z6 trim onwards, the Scorpio N diesel develops 175hp, but outputs 370Nm when paired with the 6-speed manual and 400Nm with the 6-speed torque converter. Meanwhile, the lower Scorpio N Z2 and Z4 diesel MT variants produce 132hp and 300Nm.

The Thar Roxx diesel offers the same transmission options as that of the Scorpio N, and makes 175hp and 400Nm in its higher-spec AX5L AT and AX7L AT variants. Lower variants of the Thar Roxx diesel generate 152hp and 330Nm. Both SUVs are available with 4×4 in higher-spec diesel variants as well. Prices for the Scorpio N diesel start at Rs 13.99 lakh and extend to Rs 24.95 lakh, while the Thar Roxx diesel price range is Rs 13.86 lakh-22.82 lakh.

3. Mahindra Thar Roxx 2.0 turbo-petrol

Up to 177hp, 380Nm

The Thar Roxx is also available with Mahindra’s 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol ‘mStallion’ engine, though outputs vary depending on gearbox. With the 6-speed manual equipped, the Thar Roxx petrol outputs 162hp and 330Nm, whereas with the 6-speed automatic, the output is bumped to 177hp and 380Nm. The Thar Roxx petrol price range is Rs 12.4 lakh-20 lakh.

2. Mahindra XUV 7XO 2.2 diesel

185hp, up to 450Nm

Like the Scorpio N and Thar Roxx, the Mahindra XUV 7XO gets a 2.2-litre diesel engine, but in a more powerful 185hp state of tune. When paired with the 6-speed manual, the XUV 7XO diesel outputs 420Nm, rising to 450Nm with the 6-speed torque converter automatic equipped. The XUV 7XO diesel is also offered with AWD in higher variants. Prices for the XUV 7XO diesel start at Rs 14.96 lakh and climb to Rs 24.92 lakh.

203hp, up to 380Nm (370 MT SCN)

The turbo-petrol Mahindra XUV 7XO and Scorpio N are officially the most powerful SUVs you can buy under Rs 25 lakh. Their 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine develops a healthy 203hp across all variants. While the XUV 7XO petrol outputs 380Nm for both its manual and automatic transmission options, the Scorpio N petrol makes 370Nm when paired with the manual and 380Nm with the automatic.

Pricing for the XUV 7XO petrol starts at Rs 13.66 lakh and extends to Rs 23.64 lakh, while the Scorpio N petrol price range is Rs 13.49 lakh-22.45 lakh.

Trading Strategy: लार्जकैप के दम पर आज मार्केट में तेजी देखने को मिल रही है। हालांकि मार्केट ब्रेथ कमजोर है। नरम क्रूड और रुपये की मजबूती से सेंटिमेंट अच्छे हुए हैं। निफ्टी 170 प्वाइंट से ज्यादा चढ़कर 24200 के ऊपर दिख रहा है। बैंक निफ्टी भी 58500 के पार कारोबार कर रहा है। मिडकैप में भी रौनक है। वोलैटिलिटी इंडेक्स INDIA VIX 3% फिसलकर 13 के नीचे आ गया है। कच्चे तेल में गिरावट और ब्याज दरें ना बढ़ने की उम्मीद में ऑटो शेयरों में फर्राटा रफ्तार आई है। मारुति करीब 5% उछाल के साथ वायदा का टॉप गेनर बना है। साथ ही M&M,मदरसन और TVS मोटर भी 4% दौड़े हैं।

रियल्टी,NBFCs और FMCG में भी अच्छी तेजी है। तीनों सेक्टर इंडेक्स करीब 1 फीसदी चढ़े हैं। रियल्टी में प्रेस्टीज,गोदरेज प्रॉपर्टीज और लोढ़ा 2 फीसदी चढ़े हैं। लेकिन मजबूत डॉलर इंडेक्स से मेटल शेयरों में लगातार तीसरे दिन मुनाफावसूली देखने को मिल रही है।

आगे कैसी रह सकती है बाजार की चाल, इस पर बात करते हुए सीएनबीसी-आवाज़ के मैनेजिंग एडिटर अनुज सिंघल ने कहा कि आज फिर बाजार में चुनिंदा लार्ज कैप शेयरों में रैली हुई है। निफ्टी चला है लेकिन ब्रेथ खराब है। हालांकि 1-2 दिन की चाल को ट्रेंड नहीं समझ सकते। लेकिन ऐसा चलता रहा तो रिस्क का रास्ता खुलेगा। खैर,अगले हफ्ते उसका भी जवाब मिल जाएगा। फिलहाल आज का दिन निफ्टी के लिए बढ़िया रहा। 24,250 की रजिस्टेंस पार करने बाद रुका। ऑटो शेयरों के लिए आज शानदार दिन है। तकरीबन हर ऑटो एंसिलरी शेयर में रैली है। इंटरग्लोब फिर से आज रफ्तार का घोड़ा बना। सिर्फ मेटल में आज गिरावट आई। मेटल शेयरों की गिरावट के लिए सुबह ही तैयार किया था।

बाजार: अब क्या?

अब अगली तेजी 24,250 के ऊपर निकलने पर आएगी। 24,100 के ऊपर जब तक हैं,ट्रेंड मजबूत है। अगर 24,200 के ऊपर क्लोजिंग हो जाए तो शानदार रहेगा। बैंक निफ्टी में 58,500 का पहला टारगेट हासिल हुआ। 59,000 और 59,500 के टापगेट अभी बाकी हैं। ऑरेकल ने फिर से आवाज के दर्शकों को मोटी कमाई कराई है। इंटरग्लोब में भी 4000 से 5400 की एकतरफा रैली रही।

निफ्टी -बैंक निफ्टी पर रणनीति

निफ्टी के लिए 24,050-24,100 पर सपोर्ट और 24,200-24,250 पर रेजिस्टेंस है। वहीं, बैंक निफ्टी के लिए 58,200-58,400 पर सपोर्ट और 58,800-59,000 पर रेजिस्टेंस है।

NHAI directs setting up more repair, puncture services on highway corridors

Motorists travelling on National Highways and expressways could soon have easier access to vehicle repair and puncture services. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has directed operators of Wayside Amenities (WSAs) to prioritise the rollout of vehicle repair shops and puncture repair facilities to improve roadside assistance during breakdowns and emergencies.

Repair facilities to be prioritised at Wayside Amenities

The directive has been issued by National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML), NHAI’s wholly owned subsidiary responsible for developing Wayside Amenities across the country. Field offices have been asked to advise WSA operators to prioritise vehicle repair shops and puncture repair facilities, particularly along highway stretches where roadside assistance remains limited.

According to NHAI, several highway corridors currently lack adequate access to basic mechanical assistance, often leaving motorists stranded after tyre punctures or minor breakdowns.

Part of the expanding Wayside Amenities network

NHLML is developing a nationwide network of Wayside Amenities under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. These facilities already include mandatory infrastructure such as fuel stations, food courts, restrooms and parking areas.

Vehicle repair shops and puncture repair facilities are already permitted under existing lease agreements. NHAI has now asked operators to prioritise expanding these services to improve the availability of roadside assistance along highway corridors.

The repair facilities will cater to both private motorists and commercial vehicle operators.

NHAI said the initiative is aimed at “reducing vehicle downtime, enhancing road safety and ensuring prompt assistance” to commuters and freight operators travelling on National Highways and expressways.

Delhi-NCR Monsoon Update: दिल्ली-एनसीआर के लोगों को इन दिनों उमस और भीषण गर्मी के बीच मानसून की बारिश का बेसब्री से इंतजार है। आमतौर पर 25 से 30 जून के बीच दिल्ली में दस्तक देने वाला दक्षिण-पश्चिम मानसून इस बार थोड़ा सुस्त पड़ता नजर आ रहा है। मानसून के आने में हो रही देरी के बीच दिल्ली के कई इलाकों में तेज हवाओं, आंधी और हल्की बारिश का दौर शुरू हो चुका है। इससे तापमान में थोड़ी गिरावट दर्ज की गई है। भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने दिल्ली में धूल भरी आंधी और गरज-चमक के साथ बारिश की संभावना को देखते हुए अलर्ट भी जारी किया है। आइए जानते हैं कि मौसम विभाग के ताजा आंकड़ों के अनुसार मानसून इस समय देश में कहां पहुंचा है, दिल्ली में यह कब तक दस्तक देगा और अगले तीन दिनों तक राजधानी के मौसम का क्या हाल रहने वाला है।

दिल्ली में कब आएगा मानसून? मौसम वैज्ञानिकों ने बताई देरी की वजह

मौसम विभाग के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक पिछले पांच सालों (2021 को छोड़कर) में मानसून आमतौर पर 25 से 30 जून के बीच दिल्ली पहुंच जाता है। साल 2020 में मानसून 25 जून को दिल्ली आया था। 2021 में यह काफी देरी से 13 जुलाई को पहुंचा। इसके बाद 2022 में 30 जून, 2023 में 25 जून, 2024 में 28 जून और पिछले साल यानी 2025 में मानसून ने 29 जून को दिल्ली में दस्तक दी थी।

इस बार मानसून की दिल्ली एंट्री में होगी देरी!

आईएमडी के एक अधिकारी ने न्यूज एजेंसी पीटीआई से बात करते हुए बताया कि दिल्ली में मानसून के पहुंचने की सामान्य तारीख 28 जून के आसपास होती है, लेकिन इस साल इसमें देरी होगी। यह कब तक पहुंचेगा, इसकी अभी सटीक तारीख नहीं बताई जा सकती। मौसम वैज्ञानिकों के मुताबिक सामान्यतः 18-19 जून के आसपास बंगाल की खाड़ी में एक कम दबाव का क्षेत्र बनता है। यह सिस्टम अरब सागर से नमी वाली हवाओं को भारतीय मुख्य भूमि की तरफ खींचने में मदद करता है। यह सिस्टम ओडिशा, बिहार और पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश से होते हुए उत्तर-पश्चिम भारत (दिल्ली समेत) की तरफ बढ़ता है। इससे एक अनुकूल एंटी-क्लॉकवाइज साइक्लोनिक सर्कुलेशन बनता है और मानसून आगे बढ़ता है।

जुलाई के पहले हफ्ते की उम्मीद

स्काईमेट वेदर के वाइस प्रेसिडेंट महेश पालावत के मुताबिक इस बार बंगाल की खाड़ी में वह जरूरी मौसमी सिस्टम नहीं बना जो बारिश वाली हवाओं को आगे धकेलता है। अब 25-26 जून के आसपास बंगाल की खाड़ी में एक अनुकूल सिस्टम बनने की उम्मीद है। इसके बाद मानसून 27 जून की सामान्य तारीख के बजाय जुलाई के पहले सप्ताह में दिल्ली पहुंच सकता है।

अभी कहां तक पहुंचा मानसून?

मौसम विभाग के लेटेस्ट अपडेट के मुताबिक 25 जून दोपहर तक मानसून की उत्तरी सीमासूरत, इंदौर, मंडला, डालटनगंज, मोतिहारी से होकर गुजर रही है। आगामी 3 से 4 दिनों के भीतर दक्षिण-पश्चिम मानसून के उत्तरी अरब सागर, गुजरात के कुछ और हिस्सों, मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ के शेष भागों, झारखंड, बिहार और उत्तर प्रदेश तथा उत्तराखंड के कुछ हिस्सों में आगे बढ़ने के लिए परिस्थितियां पूरी तरह अनुकूल बनी हुई हैं।

दिल्ली-एनसीआर का अगला 4 दिनों का वेदर फॉरकास्ट

दिल्ली में पिछले 24 घंटों में अधिकतम तापमान में 1°C और न्यूनतम तापमान में 1-3°C की गिरावट देखी गई है। सफदरजंग में अधिकतम तापमान 39.3°C (सामान्य से 0.7 डिग्री अधिक) रहा। उमस के कारण हीट इंडेक्स यानी महसूस होने वाला तापमान 45.8°C तक पहुंच गया था। न्यूनतम तापमान 22 से 25°C के बीच दर्ज किया गया, जो सामान्य से काफी नीचे है। आइए आपको दिल्ली एनसीआर का 28 जून तक वेदर फोरकास्ट बताते हैं-

25 जून: आसमान में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहेंगे। दोपहर या शाम के समय गरज-चमक, बिजली कड़कने और धूल भरी आंधी के साथ बहुत हल्की से हल्की बारिश होने की संभावना है। इस दौरान 40-50 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज हवाएं चल सकती हैं, जो झोंकों में 60 किमी प्रति घंटे तक पहुंच सकती हैं। अधिकतम तापमान 39°C से 41°C के बीच रहेगा, जो सामान्य से 1.6°C से 3°C अधिक है।

26 जून: आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहने के साथ दोपहर/शाम को बिजली कड़कने और तेज आंधी के साथ हल्की बारिश का एक दौर आ सकता है। हवा की रफ्तार 40-50 किमी प्रति घंटे (झोंके 60 किमी प्रति घंटे तक) रहने का अनुमान है। तापमान 25°C (न्यूनतम) से 41°C (अधिकतम) के बीच रहेगा।

27 जून: मौसम का मिजाज वैसा ही रहेगा। आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहने के साथ दोपहर या शाम को गरज-चमक के साथ हल्की बौछारें पड़ सकती हैं। 40-50 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तूफानी हवाएं चलेंगी। अधिकतम तापमान 41°C तक जा सकता है।

28 जून: आसमान में आंशिक रूप से बादल तो रहेंगे लेकिन बारिश की संभावना कम है। दिन के दौरान 20-30 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज सतही हवाएं चलेंगी, जो कभी-कभी 40 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार पकड़ सकती हैं। अधिकतम तापमान 39°C से 41°C और न्यूनतम तापमान 26°C से 28°C के बीच रहने का अनुमान है।

देश के बाकी हिस्सों का हाल: कहीं भारी बारिश तो कहीं हीट वेव

बेहद भारी बारिश का अलर्ट: अगले एक हफ्ते के दौरान पश्चिमी तट, पूर्वोत्तर भारत, उप-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम में भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश (7-20 सेमी) होने की संभावना है। इसके साथ ही 27 से 29 जून के दौरान उप-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम में तथा 28 जून को असम और मेघालय में अलग-अलग जगहों पर बेहद भारी बारिश होने का अनुमान है।

यहां चलेगी लू : जहां देश के कई हिस्सों में बारिश का दौर जारी है, वहीं पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश में अगले 3-4 दिनों तक और बिहार व झारखंड में अगले 2 दिनों तक लू की स्थिति बनी रहने की आशंका जताई गई है।

बीते 24 घंटे का हाल

पिछले 24 घंटों में उप-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल, मध्य महाराष्ट्र और पश्चिमी मध्य प्रदेश में अलग-अलग स्थानों पर बहुत भारी बारिश (12-20 सेमी) दर्ज की गई। गोवा, असम, त्रिपुरा, तटीय व दक्षिणी आंतरिक कर्नाटक और तेलंगाना में भारी बारिश (7-11 सेमी) हुई, जबकि हिमाचल प्रदेश में कुछ जगहों पर ओलावृष्टि भी दर्ज की गई।

TVS Motor Company has announced the rollout of the one millionth TVS iQube from its manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The production milestone follows closely on the heels of TVS crossing one million cumulative retail sales of its electric scooters – comprising the iQube and Orbiter – earlier this month, making it the second Indian EV manufacturer after Ola Electric to reach that milestone.

The iQube is available in three variants with multiple battery options

The TVS iQube was launched in 2020 as the company’s first electric two-wheeler. The lineup has since expanded to three variants – the base iQube, available with 2.2kWh, 3.1kWh and 3.5kWh battery options; the iQube S with a 4.7kWh battery; and the range-topping iQube ST with a 5.3kWh battery. 

TVS now supports its growing customer base through a sales and service network spanning more than 3,300 touchpoints across over 3,000 cities. Since launch, iQube owners have collectively covered 14.94 billion kilometres and, which the company claims, helped avoid 5.22 lakh tonnes of CO₂ emissions – the equivalent to planting approximately 2.09 crore trees.

Commenting on the milestone, TVS Motor Company chairman Sudarshan Venu said the rollout reflected “the scale at which electric mobility is becoming part of everyday life in India,” adding that the achievement was built on years of investment in engineering, innovation and manufacturing capability.

The production milestone comes at a time when India’s electric two-wheeler market continues to gather notable pace. The segment is on track to approach two million annual sales for the first time, driven in part by rising petrol prices. R Madhavan Watch: 23 जून को नई दिल्ली के राष्ट्रपति भवन में राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने आर. माधवन को भारतीय सिनेमा में उनके शानदार और बड़े योगदान के लिए पद्म श्री से सम्मानित किया। यह सम्मान उन्हें उनकी पत्नी सरिता और बेटे वेदांत की मौजूदगी में दिया गया, जो उनके लिए खुशी ज़ाहिर करते हुए दिखे। इस बीच, एक्टर के पहनावे ने भी लोगों का ध्यान खींचा।

‘रहना है तेरे दिल में’ फ़िल्म के स्टार ने क्लासिक नेवी-ब्लू एथनिक आउटफिट पहना था, लेकिन सबकी नज़र उनकी लिमिटेड-एडिशन घड़ी पर टिकी रह गई। एक्टर ने टाइटन की ‘जलसा नेबुला’ घड़ी पहनकर भारत की विरासत को शान से दिखाया; इस घड़ी में 18-कैरेट रोज़ गोल्ड का केस लगा है।

घड़ी के मार्बल डायल पर जयपुर के हवा महल से प्रेरित एक मिनिएचर पेंटिंग बनी है। कहा जा रहा है कि इस लिमिटेड-एडिशन घड़ी की कीमत 40 लाख है और रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, दुनिया भर में ऐसी सिर्फ़ 10 घड़ियां ही उपलब्ध हैं।

अवार्ड मिलने के बाद आर. माधवन ने दिल से एक नोट लिखा। उन्होंने लिखा, “पद्म श्री मिलने पर मैं बहुत विनम्र और आभारी महसूस कर रहा हूं और सच में सम्मानित महसूस कर रहा हूं। देश के सबसे बड़े नागरिक सम्मानों में से एक से मुझे सम्मानित करने के लिए मैं भारत सरकार का दिल से शुक्रिया अदा करता हूं। मैं महाराष्ट्र सरकार का भी उतना ही आभारी हूं कि उन्होंने मेरा नाम आगे बढ़ाया और मेरे सफ़र पर भरोसा जताया। यह सम्मान मेरे लिए हमेशा यादगार रहेगा। जिन लोगों ने मेरी फ़िल्में देखीं, मेरे किरदारों को पसंद किया, मेरी कामयाबियों का जश्न मनाया, मेरी कमियों को नज़रअंदाज़ किया और इतने सालों तक मेरा साथ दिया—यह सम्मान जितना मेरा है, उतना ही आपका भी है। आपके प्यार ने ही मेरे जीवन और करियर के हर पड़ाव पर मुझे आगे बढ़ने की प्रेरणा दी है।”

This is a neo-retro cafe racer, and the ergonomics reflect that: the clip-on handlebars, rear-set footpegs, and the longer, lower stance place the rider in a more committed forward lean compared to the upright Interceptor. Kawasaki Ninja 650

Price: Rs 7.91 Lakh

The Ninja 650 is the most performance-oriented motorcycle on this list by a considerable margin. It is powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 68hp – figures that put it in a different performance bracket compared to everything else here. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, and the bike has a claimed top speed of 210kph.

BSA Gold Star 650

Price: Rs 3.35 Lakh – Rs 3.60 Lakh

The Gold Star 650 is the most affordable motorcycle on this list and arguably the most distinctive. Unlike every other bike here, it uses a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine – a configuration chosen deliberately to evoke the BSA Gold Stars of the 1950s and 60s, when large singles dominated the British motorcycle landscape. The motor produces 45hp, which arrives at a notably low point in the rev range, giving the bike a relaxed, torque-led character well suited to unhurried riding.

At 213kg, it is heavy for a single, and the weight does make itself felt at low speeds and in tight spaces. The seat height of 782mm is reasonably low and will suit a wide range of riders. Equipment includes dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch, USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, strong Brembo brakes and Pirelli Phantom tyres. Norton Atlas global launch next month, production begins

Norton Motorcycles has marked the rollout of the first Atlas models at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur manufacturing facility ahead of the motorcycle’s global launch next month. The Atlas is set to go on sale in global markets in Q3 2026, with an India launch planned later in the year.

First Norton Atlas rolls off the production line at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur plant

Norton says its Solihull facility is currently operating at full capacity with production of the Manx R, making the Hosur plant the natural choice for manufacturing the Atlas. The move also reflects Norton’s operating model under TVS Motor Company ownership, with Norton responsible for the motorcycles’ design, engineering and riding character, while TVS provides the manufacturing infrastructure and supply chain support.

Commenting on the rollout, TVS Motor Company Director and CEO K. N. Radhakrishnan said the occasion brings together “British design and engineering capability with Indian manufacturing excellence.” Norton Motorcycles CEO Richard Arnold added that the Atlas name carries forward the heritage of the original 1962 model and that the company’s focus now shifts to customer deliveries over the coming months.

The Norton Atlas and Atlas GT are powered by a 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin, producing 70hp and 57.5Nm. Both motorcycles feature a Bosch six-axis IMU enabling lean-sensitive rider aids, five riding modes, fully adjustable KYB suspension, cornering cruise control and an 8-inch TFT display.

Norton has confirmed that the Atlas range will be launched in India later in 2026 through TVS Paddock– TVS Motor Company’s new premium retail format, which is expected to begin operations in Q2 FY27. Customer deliveries are expected to commence once the network is operational.
