Axis Bank के CFO पुनीत शर्मा ने दिया इस्तीफा, HDFC Bank के बन सकते हैं नए CFO

Axis Bank ने सोमवार को बताया कि उसके चीफ फाइनेंशियल ऑफिसर (CFO) पुनीत शर्मा ने इस्तीफा दे दिया है। बैंक ने कहा कि वह अपने प्रोफेशनल करियर के अगले चरण में आगे बढ़ना चाहते हैं। फिलहाल बैंक ने उनके उत्तराधिकारी के नाम का ऐलान नहीं किया है।

पुनीत शर्मा ने 28 जून 2026 को इस्तीफा दिया था। वह 31 अगस्त 2026 को कारोबार खत्म होने के बाद बैंक छोड़ देंगे। पुनीत शर्मा 6 मार्च 2020 से Axis Bank के CFO हैं। उनके पास बैंकिंग, वित्तीय संस्थानों और कंसल्टिंग सेक्टर में 23 साल से ज्यादा का अनुभव है।

HDFC Bank जा सकते हैं पुनीत

HDFC Bank अपने अगले चीफ फाइनेंशियल ऑफिसर (CFO) के तौर पर पुनीत की नियुक्ति कर सकता है। इस मामले से जुड़े सूत्रों के मुताबिक, अगर नियुक्ति होती है तो यह इस साल निजी बैंकिंग सेक्टर के बड़े लीडरशिप बदलावों में से एक होगा।

पुनीत शर्मा मौजूदा CFO श्रीनिवासन वैद्यनाथन की जगह ले सकते हैं। उनका कार्यकाल अक्टूबर 2026 में पूरा हो रहा है। CNBC-TV18 के मुताबिक, HDFC Bank की नॉमिनेशन एंड रेम्यूनरेशन कमेटी सोमवार को बैठक करेगी, जिसमें इस नियुक्ति पर चर्चा हो सकती है।

HDFC Bank में पहले भी हुआ बड़ा बदलाव

अगर पुनीत शर्मा की नियुक्ति होती है, तो वह ऐसे समय में HDFC Bank की फाइनेंस टीम की कमान संभालेंगे, जब बैंक लीडरशिप बदलाव की तैयारी कर रहा है।

हाल ही में भाविन लखपतवाला भी HDFC Bank छोड़कर RBL Bank में एग्जीक्यूटिव डायरेक्टर और CFO बने हैं। उन्हें HDFC Bank में CFO पद का संभावित आंतरिक दावेदार माना जा रहा था।

Axis Bank में 6 साल का अनुभव

पुनीत शर्मा मार्च 2020 से Axis Bank में ग्रुप हेड और CFO हैं। फाइनेंस के अलावा वे लीगल, सेक्रेटेरियल, इन्वेस्टर रिलेशंस और प्रोक्योरमेंट की जिम्मेदारी भी संभालते हैं। वह Axis Finance और Axis Securities के बोर्ड में भी नॉमिनी डायरेक्टर हैं।

उनके कार्यकाल में Axis Bank ने Citibank India के कंज्यूमर बिजनेस का अधिग्रहण और इंटीग्रेशन पूरा किया। बैंक ने सफलतापूर्वक पूंजी जुटाई और टेक्नोलॉजी-डिजिटल बैंकिंग में निवेश भी बढ़ाया।

Tata Capital में भी अहम भूमिका

Axis Bank से पहले पुनीत शर्मा 12 साल से ज्यादा समय तक Tata Capital में रहे। वहां वह ग्रुप CFO बने और फाइनेंस, ट्रेजरी, टैक्सेशन, इन्वेस्टर रिलेशंस और कॉरपोरेट स्ट्रैटेजी की जिम्मेदारी संभाली।

अपने करियर की शुरुआत में उन्होंने Citibank, Boston Consulting Group और Lovelock & Lewes (अब PwC India का हिस्सा) में भी काम किया। वह चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट (CA) और कॉस्ट अकाउंटेंट हैं।

इस मामले पर पूछे गए सवालों पर पुनीत शर्मा ने कोई टिप्पणी नहीं की है। HDFC Bank और Axis Bank की ओर से भी कोई आधिकारिक प्रतिक्रिया नहीं आई है।

भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने 30 जून के लिए मौसम का बड़ा और ताजा बुलेटिन जारी कर दिया है। मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक देश के 15 से अधिक राज्यों में भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश और तेज रफ्तार आंधी-तूफान का अलर्ट है। जहां एक तरफ उत्तर, मध्य और दक्षिण भारत के अधिकांश हिस्सों में मानसूनी गतिविधियां जोर पकड़ रही हैं, वहीं दिल्ली-एनसीआर के लोगों को 30 जून को भी गर्मी का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।

मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक मानसून की उत्तरी सीमा (NLM) फिलहाल सूरत, इंदौर, मांडला, डालटनगंज और मोतिहारी से होकर गुजर रही है। अगले 2 दिनों के भीतर इसके गुजरात, मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, झारखंड, बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड के कुछ और हिस्सों में आगे बढ़ने के लिए परिस्थितियां पूरी तरह अनुकूल हैं। इसके बाद अगले 2-3 दिनों में यह हिमाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू-कश्मीर, लद्दाख, दक्षिण-पूर्वी राजस्थान और गुजरात के शेष हिस्सों को भी कवर कर लेगा।

इन राज्यों में भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश का अलर्ट

मौसम विभाग ने 30 जून को देश के कई हिस्सों में मूसलाधार बारिश की चेतावनी जारी की है। इन राज्यों में अलग-अलग स्थानों पर भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश होने की प्रबल संभावना है:

  • पूर्वी और पूर्वोत्तर भारत: असम और मेघालय, सब-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम और बिहार।
  • पश्चिमी भारत: कोंकण व गोवा और मध्य महाराष्ट्र।
  • दक्षिण भारत: तटीय कर्नाटक, केरल और माहे।

इन राज्यों में होगी भारी बारिश

30 जून को देश के कई अन्य राज्यों में भी अलग-अलग स्थानों पर भारी बारिश होने का अनुमान है, जिससे लोगों को गर्मी से राहत मिलेगी। इन इलाकों में अरुणाचल प्रदेश, नागालैंड, मणिपुर, मिजोरम, त्रिपुरा, ओडिशा, झारखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, मध्य प्रदेश, विदर्भ, छत्तीसगढ़, तेलंगाना, तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी व कराइकल और दक्षिण आंतरिक कर्नाटक शामिल हैं। तटीय कर्नाटक और दक्षिण आंतरिक कर्नाटक में कल बहुत तेज सतही हवाएं चलने की भी चेतावनी दी गई है।

40-50 किमी/घंटे की रफ़्तार से आंधी-तूफान और बिजली का अलर्ट

मौसम विभाग ने देश के बड़े हिस्से में गरज-चमक के साथ आकाशीय बिजली गिरने और तेज हवाएं चलने की चेतावनी दी है। गंगा नदी के मैदानी इलाकों वाले पश्चिम बंगाल, ओडिशा, झारखंड, बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश, हिमाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू-कश्मीर-लद्दाख, पूर्वी राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश, गुजरात राज्य, कोंकण व गोवा, मध्य महाराष्ट्र, मराठवाड़ा, विदर्भ, तटीय आंध्र प्रदेश व यनम, तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी व कराइकल, उत्तरी आंतरिक कर्नाटक, केरल व माहे और लक्षद्वीप में आंधी-तूफान का अलर्ट है।

30 से 40 किमी/घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं (झोंके 50 किमी/घंटे तक)

सब-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल व सिक्किम, उत्तराखंड, पश्चिमी राजस्थान और रायलसीमा।

सिर्फ गरज-चमक और बिजली की चेतावनी

अरुणाचल प्रदेश, असम व मेघालय, और नागालैंड, मणिपुर, मिजोरम व त्रिपुरा में कल अलग-अलग स्थानों पर बिजली कड़कने के साथ गरज-चमक की स्थिति बनी रहेगी।

दिल्ली-NCR और उत्तर-पश्चिम भारत के लिए अगले 5 दिनों का विशेष पूर्वानुमान

मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक 2 जुलाई से उत्तर-पश्चिम भारत में एक नया पश्चिमी विक्षोभ दस्तक देने जा रहा है, जिससे मौसम में बड़ा बदलाव आएगा-

दिल्ली-एनसीआर (हरियाणा, चंडीगढ़ और दिल्ली): 30 जून को दिल्ली, हरियाणा और चंडीगढ़ के अलग-अलग इलाकों में लू की स्थिति बनी रह सकती है। यहां 1 जुलाई तक बारिश छिटपुट रहेगी, लेकिन 2 से 4 जुलाई के बीच काफी व्यापक से लेकर मूसलाधार बारिश होने का अनुमान है। 1 से 3 जुलाई के बीच यहां भारी बारिश की संभावना है।

उत्तर प्रदेश: पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश में 30 जून से 2 जुलाई के बीच और पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश में 30 जून से 3 जुलाई के बीच व्यापक बारिश का दौर शुरू होगा। दोनों ही हिस्सों में 29 जून से 5 जुलाई के बीच आंधी, बिजली और 40-50 किमी/घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चलने का अनुमान है।

राजस्थान: पूर्वी राजस्थान में 30 जून को आंधी-बिजली के साथ 40-50 किमी/घंटे की हवाएं चलेंगी और 1-2 जुलाई को 50-60 किमी/घंटे की रफ़्तार से तीव्र आंधी चल सकती है। पश्चिमी राजस्थान में 2 से 5 जुलाई के बीच धूलभरी आंधी की गतिविधि देखने को मिलेगी।

हिमाचल और जम्मू-कश्मीर: इन पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में 1 से 5 जुलाई के बीच व्यापक बारिश होगी। हिमाचल प्रदेश में 2 और 3 जुलाई को बहुत भारी बारिश का भी अलर्ट है।

The Delhi Cabinet has formally approved the Delhi EV Policy 2026, confirming measures that we had earlier reported were under consideration. The policy comes into effect on July 1, 2026, and will remain in force until March 31, 2030. Its most significant provision for the two-wheeler industry is that only new electric two-wheelers will be eligible for registration in Delhi from April 1, 2028.

Delhi EV Policy 2026: Key details

Electric auto-rickshaws and N1 goods carriers face an earlier January 2027 deadline

The policy introduces a tiered timeline for transitioning different vehicle categories to electric. Electric auto-rickshaws and N1 goods carriers face an earlier deadline – from January 1, 2027, only new electric versions of these vehicles will be registered in Delhi. The two-wheeler deadline follows on April 1, 2028.

To support the transition, the policy offers purchase incentives of up to Rs 30,000 for electric two-wheelers, Rs 50,000 for electric three-wheelers and up to Rs 1 lakh for electric N1 goods vehicles. Scrappage incentives ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 1 lakh are also available for replacing older, more polluting vehicles with electric alternatives. All incentives will be transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

On the infrastructure front, the policy targets the installation of more than 30,000 EV charging points across Delhi.

For India’s two-wheeler industry, the April 2028 deadline marks a significant shift. A Crisil impact assessment published in April projected that the move could increase the share of electric two-wheelers in Delhi’s new vehicle sales to 21-23 percent by FY29 and add nearly 6 lakh electric two-wheelers to national sales volumes, compared to a projected 18-20 percent without the policy. With two-wheelers accounting for nearly 67 percent of Delhi’s registered vehicle stock, Crisil also noted that the capital’s move could encourage other states to adopt similar mandates.

The BMW X6 M60i is 45mm shorter in length than the Audi SQ8, and its wheelbase also trails behind the Audi. On the other hand, the X6 is wider and slightly taller at the roof than the SQ8, but finds itself slightly narrower and shorter in height than the GLE 53 Coupe. In terms of boot space, the X6’s luggage capacity is considerably lesser than that offered by either the Merc or the Audi. Overall, the BMW X6 M60i sits in between the SQ8 and GLE 53 Coupe in terms of size. All three SUVs come with 21-inch alloy wheels as standard, with Audi and Mercedes offering 22-inch rims as an option.

The BMW X6 M60i’s twin-turbocharged V8 comes with a 48V mild-hybrid system, and it produces 23hp more than the Audi SQ8’s eight-cylinder mill. However, its torque output is lower than the Audi by 20Nm. Despite this, the X6 M60i hits 100kph a claimed 0.2 seconds ahead of the SQ8.

When compared to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe, the X6 has a power and torque advantage of 95hp and 190Nm, respectively. While the GLE Coupe’s integrated starter generator provides an extra 20hp, its lack of outright oomph is noticeable. Then again, with its 3.0-litre inline-six configuration, the Merc’s engine is much smaller than that powering the BMW X6 M60i.

The BMW X6 in its M60i guise costs almost the same as the Audi SQ8. In comparison, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe is Rs 26 lakh more affordable than either. However, it’s relatively older and lacks the outright punch of the X6. As for the SQ8, it’s slightly quicker to 100kph than the X6 M60i while offering a twin-turbo V8 as well.

Toyota will launch the ninth-gen Hilux pickup in India next month, our dealer sources have confirmed. This will be just eight months after the new Hilux’s global debut in November 2025. Considering that this is a new-gen model with several mechanical and feature upgrades, expect it to command a significant premium over the outgoing Hilux, which is priced from Rs 28.52 lakh to Rs 36 lakh (ex-showroom).

The ninth-gen Hilux introduces an all-new design but retains its predecessor’s rugged ethos. Up front, the pickup features slim high-set LED headlamps bridged by a black trim piece that houses the Toyota wordmark. Below that, there’s a honeycomb-patterned grille flanked by angular air intakes and a chunky bumper.

The side profile is characterised by clean panelling, 17-inch alloy wheels and squared-off body cladding, while the rear gets sizeable vertically oriented tail-lamps with C-shaped DRL signatures. There’s also a large Toyota wordmark on the tailgate and generous cladding on the bumper.

Inside, the new Hilux is markedly more modern than its predecessor, with dual 12.3-inch displays taking centre stage on the freshly designed dashboard, along with a new three-spoke steering wheel bearing the Toyota lettermark. A welcome sight in the Hilux’s cabin is the abundance of physical controls, spread across the steering wheel, centre console and transmission tunnel.

In terms of features, the new Hilux packs terrain and drive modes, dual-zone climate control, a wireless charging pad, a blind-spot monitor, connected car tech, powered and ventilated front seats, multi-terrain and 360-degree cameras, over-the-air (OTA) updates, an advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite, driver drowsiness detection and more.

2026 Toyota Hilux engine and gearbox

The outgoing Hilux is available solely with a 2.8-litre diesel engine that develops 204hp and 500Nm, with gearbox options comprising a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic – 4×4 is fitted as standard. Since the new Hilux is based on the same IMV body-on-frame platform, Toyota is expected to retain the 2.8-litre diesel engine for the India-spec model, and could add the 48V ‘Neo Drive’ mild hybrid system that was introduced with the Fortuner last year.

In overseas markets, the new Hilux is available in all-electric guise too, making it Toyota’s first body-on-frame EV. The Hilux EV gets a 59.2kWh battery pack powering front and rear motors, with the former outputting 205Nm and the latter producing 269Nm. WLTP-tested range for the Hilux EV is pegged at 240km. It remains to be seen if Toyota will offer the Hilux EV in India.

Hero MotoCorp has filed a design patent in India for what appears to be the Xoom 125 Adventure – the adventure-styled derivative of the Xoom 125 scooter that the company first showcased as a concept at EICMA 2024.

The patent drawings closely mirror the Xoom 125 Adventure concept unveiled at EICMA 2024. The most notable visual changes over the standard Xoom 125 include a raised front fender, crash protection around the sides of the front apron, a small flyscreen and knuckle guards. The concept also featured knobby tyres wrapped around the same 14-inch alloy wheels as the standard Xoom 125. Together, these additions give the scooter a more purposeful, adventure-inspired appearance.

The seat profile also appears slightly more aggressive, with a more pronounced distinction between the rider and pillion sections. However, we’ll have to wait until the production model is revealed to confirm whether this design makes it to the final version.

Mechanically, the Xoom 125 Adventure is expected to carry over the standard Xoom 125’s 124cc air-cooled engine producing 9.9hp and 10.4Nm, along with its fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.

While filing a design patent does not necessarily confirm an imminent launch, the relatively minor nature of the changes over the already established standard Xoom 125 means a production version cannot be ruled out.

Netweb Share Price: डेटा सेंटर कंपनी Netweb Technologies India के शेयर सोमवार को कारोबार के दौरान 10% तक टूट गए। इसकी वजह कंपनी का फंड जुटाने की योजना रही।

शेयर कारोबार के दौरान 4,450 रुपये तक गिर गया। आखिर में यह 9.34% की गिरावट के साथ 4,482 रुपये पर बंद हुआ।

1 जुलाई को होगी बोर्ड बैठक

Netweb Technologies ने एक्सचेंज फाइलिंग में बताया कि 1 जुलाई को बोर्ड की बैठक होगी। इस बैठक में एक या एक से ज्यादा फंड जुटाने के प्रस्तावों पर विचार किया जाएगा। मंजूरी मिलने पर बोर्ड इन्हें आगे बढ़ा सकता है।

कैसे जुटाया जा सकता है फंड?

Netweb Technologies इक्विटी शेयर, प्रेफरेंस शेयर, कन्वर्टिबल या नॉन-कन्वर्टिबल डिबेंचर, वारंट या दूसरे इक्विटी लिंक्ड सिक्योरिटीज जारी कर फंड जुटा सकती है। जरूरत के हिसाब से इनमें से एक या एक से ज्यादा विकल्प अपनाए जा सकते हैं।

Netweb का शेयर सोमवार 9.34% की गिरकर 4,482 रुपये पर बंद हुआ। हालांकि, पिछले 6 महीने के दौरान इसमें 45.58% की तेजी आई है। वहीं, 1 साल में इसने 142% का मल्टीबैगर रिटर्न दिया है। कंपनी का मार्केट कैप 25.52 हजार करोड़ रुपये है।

New VinFast electric scooter patented in India

We had earlier reported that VinFast is looking to enter the electric two-wheeler market in India with some e-scooters it sells in its home market of Vietnam. The company has now filed a design patent for a sporty-looking electric scooter in our market, which resembles the Viper it sells overseas, although there are some nuanced differences between the two.

Like the Viper, this new VinFast scooter shown in the patent image has angular styling and runs on chunky tyres shod on large rims, presumably 14-inchers. In fact, there are some elements on this scooter that are either remarkably close or in some cases even identical to the Viper such as the tapered handlebar, mirrors, flush mount pillion footpegs, the angular tail section, five-spoke alloy wheel design and some mechanical elements like the hub-mounted motor and front disc brake.

However, there are some visual differences, notably to the front of the scooter. Where the Viper uses a single-piece angular headlight, this new scooter has a twin-pod headlight setup. While its overall silhouette is similar to the Viper, most body panels are now more rounded than the Viper’s rather angular ones. This overarching similarity between both scooters also presents the possibility that the one featured in the design patent could be a facelifted or updated version of the Viper, although that remains to be confirmed.

While specifications for this new model are under wraps, the current-gen Viper listed on VinFast’s Vietnamese website has a 4.8kWh battery capacity, which sends power to a 3kW motor.

The company has previously stated that it is working on new India-specific electric scooters and this could be one of them. However, when VinFast will make its first electric scooter launch in India India is still unknown.
