जमशेदपुर के 28 साल के आकाश का घर मिट्टी का है। बारिश में कभी छत टपकती है, तो कभी घर में पानी भर जाता है।
पिता की नौकरी जाने से पढ़ाई छूट गई। फिर 2022 में माँ को पैरालिसिस हो गया।
आज आकाश जिम में ट्रेनिंग देकर घर का खर्च उठाते हैं और माँ की दवाइयों का इंतजाम करते हैं। लेकिन इन जिम्मेदारियों के बीच उन्होंने अपने सपने को मरने नहीं दिया।
2025 में State-Level Powerlifting में दूसरा स्थान और 2026 में तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया।
उनकी मंजिल अभी दूर है, लेकिन सपना साफ है—एक दिन अपनी माँ के लिए पक्का घर बनाना।
क्योंकि आकाश के लिए सबसे बड़ी जीत कोई मेडल नहीं, माँ को सुकून से रहते देखना है।
