BYD has revealed the Atto 8 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show as its flagship SUV. Internationally, the 7-seater BYD Atto 8 SUV is offered with multiple EV and PHEV powertrains. The EV version is the first BYD model to support ultra-fast ‘Flash Charging’, which recharges the 115kWh battery from 10 to 97 percent in a mere 9 minutes. The PHEV version is offered either with a 19kWh or a 35.6kWh battery, paired with a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine.
