Harley-Davidson has increased the prices for its X440 S and T variants. The top T variant gets a Rs 2,000 hike while the middle S variant gets a Rs 1,000 hike. It’s worth mentioning here that X440 prices for all variants were hiked in June whereas this time, the hike is only for the top two variants.
- Prices increased by Rs 2,000 for T and Rs 1,000 for S
- Price of the Base Vivid variant remain unchanged
No mechanical or feature changes
T remains the only variant with ride-by-wire tech
Besides the price increase, there are no other changes on the X440 with it retaining the 440cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with 27hp power and 38Nm of torque. Harley-Davidson had introduced the T variant late last year with the addition of ride-by-wire, redesigned subframe, and bar-end mirrors. Ride-by-wire also gave the X440 T traction control and two ride modes.
As mentioned earlier, this marks the second price hike in two months, with the T now costing Rs 2.86 lakh and the S for Rs 2.60 lakh. The base Vivid variant’s price, however, remains unchanged at Rs 2.35 lakh. Do note that at the time of publication, Harley-Davidson’s Indian website does not reflect this price increase and only Hero’s website does, who looks after Harley-Davidson’s Indian sales and service.
